We ordered the Salmone Provenzale, Insalata Regina, and Gamberi al Forno, and everything we tasted was absolutely excellent. Each dish was beautifully prepared, fresh, flavourful, and thoroughly enjoyable.

I especially loved the freshly baked bread served with their chili and olive oil paste — such a simple touch, but incredibly delicious and a perfect way to start the meal.

From the appetizers to the main course, everything was prepared with great attention to flavour and quality. A truly enjoyable Italian dining experience from start to finish. Definitely a place I’d happily visit again and recommend!”

“I am Korean Canadian with a pretty normal palate for food. I have become a regular here for the breads and pastry. In particular I love their personal sized pizzas and a tubular pastry that has feta and spinach Burek I think, I forget the name but absolutely the most crispy flaky and delicious breakfast I can have. Seems (pronounce Shems) is the gentlman usually behind the counter who is just the kindest man. They also have raw honey which my kids loved and I just tried the cherry drink. Good stuff especially for my gout. I am a customer for life~”

“I went there yesterday for dinner with my aunt and her daughter to celebrate my birthday and server was informed about it. Coming to the food, pizza was exceptionally made. I could feel the taste of the pizza I had in Rome. Pasta was okay, it could have been better. We requested egg free penne pasta and it was accommodated.
Now comes the part I absolutely love - dessert. I am a big fan of gelatos and I asked this server if they have any gelatos. She gave us 4 options and we chose pistachio and chocolate. She literally served us a very bad quality pistachio ice cream and when I gave her feedback she tried to cover it up saying you know it is italian pistachio gelato maybe that’s why you are not used to of it. Who would tell this lady that I have tried most of the gelato places in GTA/Ottawa and I also tried it in Rome. So, you cannot fool me by serving me a low quality ice cream. Pistachio ice cream had a very different green color which by look made me upset and then the bitter taste it had! To my surprise, there was nothing done to make our experience better even when we complained about it. In the end, we ordered coffee which was okay. Service could be lot better.”

It was amazing.

They knew to not put too much of the “cheese” on so it overwhelms their amazing ingredients.

They knew to keep it in the oven a few mins longer, to dry out the cheese a bit and make the toppings crispy and umami

It was the best pizza i’ve ever had since i stopped eating dairy in 2016.

“I am posting this review as a direct counter argument to the negative one star review below mine that will appear in recency. I was a separate customer there at the time ordering with a friend of mine waiting for our food when the woman’s mother in question stormed in, immediately started acting rude and speaking loudly towards the woman at the front and thereafter the chef whom she was berating.

The woman asked “would you feed this to your family” and he immediately replied yes, I would eat it myself and she asked him to and he did it immediately as if to try and get him to agree that the fish was “bad”. The lady had complained that her stomach was already hurting after eating the one piece of sushi and if anyone knows anything about stomach problems, you won’t know immediately after eating it. It takes at least a few minutes. The woman demanded a refund and said she would never come back again. The chef in question was not argumentative at all and he barely even spoke and most certainly was not rude and did not raise his voice (he barely had the time to talk because the woman wouldn’t stop talking over him). The food at Kibo is some of the best sushi I have had in Ontario plain and simple. Most sushi tastes bland and there’s actual taste to their food. I would not let a disgruntled woman’s opinion dictate whether or not you should eat some place considering she was just dissatisfied once in her life she was taking it on a person who made her food. Kibo is great, highly recommend. The staff are always nice and they are very quick with the process often beating out the set time they say for how long it will take to make the food.”
