“A local had recommended Ichiki, and we satisfied our sushi cravings over a recent dinner here. The most memorable dishes: beef short ribs; grilled king mushroom; grilled eggplant; Tempura; salmon torched sushi and pressed sushi; Dancing Tuna roll; Alaska roll and more. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Didn't have room beyond creme brulee, will return to try other desserts and more mango rolls. Service was polite and efficient. Sufficient parking in the plaza. Bright and airy ambience, seating is great for group outings. If you're in the area and enjoy sushi, highly recommend Ichiki.“

“UPDATE: I am updating this review after hearing back from customer support. They took appropriate action to respond and have taken the necessary steps to make things right. I am hoping that this location can take the feedback and keep improving.

ORIGINAL: Use whatever container they feel like, even if you have payed for an upgrade or the dish normally comes in a bowl. Also don’t add random ingredients that should be included. Ordered the glass noodle dish that has always come in a bowl today. Got it in the card board container instead, noodles were stuck together and there was no baby corn even though I have ordered the dish at multiple other locations and have never had any issue. Probably the most disappointing Thai express and seems like they don’t care if they prepare orders right or meet any standards unlike other locations.“

“It’s your run of the mill Chinese takeaway. There’s better authentic Chinese food out there, but I’m giving this place 5 stars because you get exactly what you expect and it’s always consistent. Don’t expect gourmet, but it’s still really good.

My family has been coming here since it opened, around 12 or 13 years ago at this point. We order from here around once a month and have never been disappointed.

They always nail the classics such as sweet and sour chicken balls, beef and broccoli, chicken chop suey, and pork lo mein.

“Absolutely loved our dinner at EAT BKK Thai Kitchen!
The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Thai flavors. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and the portions were very generous. The mango sticky rice was especially good and was the perfect way to finish our meal.

“First time here. Price is slightly higher than other Pho restaurants. However, it is worth it because the food is very good. The beef is tasty with fair amount and the broth is the best. The ingredients are fresh. The service is pretty good. We came on Thursday, the tables are almost full. We will come back again.“

“Came here on a whim and it blew me out of the water. The appetizers and per-dish prices are comparable to budget places, but the plate setting and taste are amazing.
I got crab rangoons and the khao soi. The rangoons had nore filling than I'd seen before and lovely crispness and flavour. The khao soi was very tasty and had both soft noodles and crispy!

The staff were kind, music was lovely, the place was relaxing to sit in. This is a gem of a place.“

“I visited this restaurant with a large group of 14 for a birthday dinner and had the best time. The food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant had a very mom-and-pop shop charm to it. Ling was extremely hospitable and checked in with us often to make sure our group had everything we needed, and she went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of the entire time. My friends loved it! My favourite dish was the salt & spicy pepper squid, it was perfectly seasoned. Even their French fries were really good! The mango pudding was also very tasty and light. Usually Chinese food is too heavy for me and makes me feel sluggish and tired afterwards, but QinThai's food didn't have that effect on me. My meal was perfectly satisfying and I would recommend this gem of a restaurant if you're ever in this area.“

“​I came into the Thai Express at Rutherford Marketplace about 10 minutes before closing at 9:00 PM—usually a time when you expect rushed or tired service—and I was completely blown away.

​I was greeted immediately by an incredibly energetic, friendly, and welcoming young man named Yaksh. He reassured me right away that coming in late was absolutely no problem, asked how my day was going, and engaged in a genuinely pleasant conversation.

​Despite having worked all day behind a hot wok, Yaksh maintained a huge smile on his face and an unbelievably positive attitude the entire time. He ripped through my order at blazing speed without sacrificing an ounce of quality. The food was fantastic, and he nailed every single extra detail on my order perfectly.

​I was so thoroughly impressed by his efficiency, warmth, and top-tier customer service that I had to ask for his name and leave him a tip. We don't notice a difference from the downtown and Eglinton locations - it's the exact same quality and portion sizes. We also love that they are so accommodating about substitutions and making items gluten free. Never a bad meal here!“

“Best Hakka I've had in a long time! my family used to come here twice a week, and sometimes dine-in. Now with Covid, when we don't cook, we get take-out once a week till things get back to normal. We usually get the Chili chicken and shrimp (both dry) and the crispy ginger beef as our staple, surrounded by different dishes each time. everything is always delicious, and the staff/Ownership are so friendly!
