A nice Ayce spot
A local had recommended Ichiki, and we satisfied our sushi cravings over a recent dinner here. The most memorable dishes: beef short ribs; grilled king mushroom; grilled eggplant; Tempura; salmon torched sushi and pressed sushi; Dancing Tuna roll; Alaska roll and more. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Didn't have room beyond creme brulee, will return to try other desserts and more mango rolls. Service was polite and efficient. Sufficient parking in the plaza. Bright and airy ambience,...read full review
The food was great; portion sizes were better than most places. Very clean environment.

Ichiki Japanese & Thai Restaurant offers a diverse range of dishes, including sushi, sashimi, and tempura. The food is generally tasty and always fresh, with standout items like tum yum soup and garlic steak. The lunch menu features options such as salmon sushi and satay chicken or beef skewers. The AYCE lunch buffet provides good value for money, showcasing a wide selection of dishes and a cash discount. Customers appreciate the fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation, particularly noting that the sushi is always fresh and the Thai dishes are full of flavor. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make it a popular spot for locals, with each table equipped with an iPad for easy ordering. Some reviews mention that the vibe is nice, but the food can be a mix between freshly cooked and prepackaged, with dishes like spicy crab and spicy salmon maki lacking some spice. The beef tataki is highly recommended, and baked mussels are decent but heavy on the mayo. Recent visitors have noted an improvement in quality and the addition of new dishes, making the experience enjoyable. Overall, the restaurant has an extremely big variety of Japanese cuisine and remains a favorite for many in the area.
