Ichiki Japanese Restaurant @ Woodbridge Vaughan ON. AYCE lunch buffet, value for money with wide selections. Good food (baked mussels, salmon / fish egg sushi, shrimp / crab tempura, etc). Fast + accurate service (self order via iPad) + friendly staff. Great 20% off on cash payment. Busy place + plenty of free parking spot.
I am a local guide too around here. Over the years at Ichiki, the portions were very balanced- allowing us to eat without being too full. The sushi is very good too and there were many leftovers brought home. However, over the course of 2 years, the service has extremely gone down in terms of friendliness and overall setting a good mood. Had lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. The variety of food on the lunch menu is less than dinner but there’s still plenty of choices, including salmon sushi, and the food tastes great! I highly recommend satay chicken/beef skewers. Plus it costs less than $30 per person for an AYCE lunch on weekends (with cash discount).
