“Had a very good dinner at the Thais Room on College Street. Would suggest a reservation on Saturday night as it has limited seating. Food was fresh, well presented and good quality. The squid dish and the golden curry dish stood out. The mango salad, fried rice and sweet potato dish were both nice additions. Happy to return.“

“My wife and I enjoyed the 7-course Cool Season tasting menu last night and it was hands down the best meal we’ve ever eaten! The pomelo salad and red curry sablefish were standouts for me, but every dish was beyond fantastic. They apparently change the menu about every three months so we’ll definitely be back in the spring/summer. If you’re looking for a memorable experience with delicious food, I highly recommend the chef’s table at Kiin!“

The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, with a wonderful mix of shrimp, squid, and mussels. “I haven’t eaten for years.
But every time; I am in the Beach I bring home takeout. They are lovely and welcoming people.
Always offer a seat and some water while you wait, that never seems very long.
I ordered the Tom Yum soup for the first time. It was such a tasty seasoned broth with shrimp.
I always get their spring rolls perfectly crispy and they never make it home.
Usually get their Cashew chicken and mango salad but today tried the Thick Chichen curry with crunchy green beans.
My daughter usually gets one of their signature dishes.
We are never dissatisfied.“

“Today I went to eat at Pik Thai with a friend. The restaurant's new cocktail was incredibly delicious. What was its name? The lovely owner told me it was a mango sticky rice cocktail. The grilled pork was delicious and tender even without the sauce. I tried the dipping which was even more delicious. we tried fews more dishs and all is so good The restaurant's atmosphere is decorated cutely.“

“I was having a stressful day ,far from good or smooth. This changed by going into a cafe I knew nothing about. The decor was stunning, the face that greeted me was beautiful and welcoming. My Americano was good and I want to go back to try some of the menu items. This place is clean, fresh and what all cafes should strive for. If you are in the East end, go.“

“Exceptional service at the restaurant! Perfect post massage meal since you’ll be too zenned out to drive.
Since we did the couples retreat we had a predetermined menu but it had all that we wanted to order.
The papaya salad had the right level of spice and the portion was huge. The Tom yum soup was filling for one.
The main were green curry and crying tiger steak were amazing.
The crying tiger steak came on a bed of lettuce with sticky rice on the side in a bamboo container and I couldn’t stop eating it even though I passed my regular threshold.
For dessert we got the mango sticky rice and bua Loy. We enjoyed both options since we have a sweet tooth!“

“Som Tum Jinda is one of the most underrated Thai restaurants in the city.

This isn't your standard green curry and Pad Thai kind of place. It's proper, punchy Thai food with bold flavours, plenty of funk, and that beautiful balance of flavour profiles that makes Thai cuisine so addictive.

Make sure a papaya salad is on your order, along with one of the grilled meats, but there’s so much more to explore here that you really can’t go wrong.

Why this doesn’t draw the kind of crowds that the usual “Toronto Thai” suspects get is beyond me.

“Food was especially good. Servers started off overly attentive and then became under attentive as the night progressed. A bit noisier than I'd like but was ok. We had to shift the reservation and they accommodated but we were sat right by the door which was distracting and took away from the experience. Overall we'd definitely go again for the food.“

“Came here on a whim and it blew me out of the water. The appetizers and per-dish prices are comparable to budget places, but the plate setting and taste are amazing.
I got crab rangoons and the khao soi. The rangoons had nore filling than I'd seen before and lovely crispness and flavour. The khao soi was very tasty and had both soft noodles and crispy!

The staff were kind, music was lovely, the place was relaxing to sit in. This is a gem of a place.“

“Food very good but in very small serving for me. if you do not eat lot should be fine but if not then need to order more. The place is very small, the table small and close each other, not good for big group of people but nice and clean. Washroom is not great but ok if you are not picky. Service is very good. Still give 5 star.

“Stopped by for a late lunch on Tuesday and the place was still packed even at 2pm, which tells you something. The green curry had real depth to it, not that watered-down version you get most places, and the portions were generous enough to take some home. Our server remembered we'd been in a few months back and asked how the renovation on our street was going, which felt like a nice touch. Parking behind the building was easy to find too, so no circling the block for twenty minutes like some spots nearby.“
