“This place is special. We tried it in summer 2023, and it blew our minds. We've been back multiple times since then. We celebrated a special birthday here, and it was so good I took my mom here for her 60th. In her words, it was "the best culinary experience of her life". Frank's ever-changing vision of his menu is not only inspiring to home cooks like myself, but jaw dropping with what he offers - and no two visits have the same menu. The staff are lovely, unpretentious and ensure you feel at home when dining with them. And don't get me started on their wine list. I'd give them 10/5 if I could. The chef/owners were so incredibly nice. The food was really well seasoned. We ordered the shawarma, the Damascus cheese w bread, and other dishes that now I can't remember. All of his sauces were incredible. Prices were affordable. This place is a gem! I don't know if we will ever come back to Toronto. It was a lovely city though. The prices are reasonable, the portions huge, and the food was delicious. Skewered chicken was plump and juicy, the grilled veggies were done just right, and we ate every last bit of the home made chunky tzatziki. My dining partner’s salad was topped with a slab of feta, drizzled in oil, herbs, and capers that was probably worth the price of the meal alone. For two tired and hangry travellers, it was exactly the stop we needed.“

“We got the shrimp bites, wedge salad, octopus al olivo, and corn fritters.The shrimp bites were awful and a really bad way to start off our meal. I was actually getting nervous that the rest of our dishes were going to be the same calibre. The shrimp was overcooked and under seasoned. The vermicelli noodles added zero flavour and unnecessary crunch given the shrimp is already breaded. It was just a bad dish and they should honestly take it off the menu.The rest of the food however is a 5/5. We got the wedge salad next which was dressed perfectly and had great crunch. The octopus al olivo was perfect. The octopus was thinly cut yet still perfectly cooked. The sauce was so good that we asked for extra crostinis so we could finish it. The corn fritters had a lovely texture, slight crunch but dense inside and pairs nicely with the slightly sour yogurt and sweet chutney.I would definitely come again. I would’ve also given them a 5 if it weren’t for the shrimp bites. I would recommend to anyone to give this place a try!“

It was nearly empty inside (although there were people out on the patio). The music was terrible. Ordered a coffee, she said they have no cream, just milk... I was starting to think I'd made a mistake....But then the food arrived.The lumpia was the best lumpia I've ever had! Ordered the pork belly lettuce wraps and they were equally fantastic!
