“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

Our group of friends gets together once a month, and this time we decided to try somewhere different from our usual neighborhood spot. We're so glad we did! The food was great, but Karina's outstanding service truly made the evening special.

By the time we left, everyone at the table was talking about how wonderful she was. She made us feel welcome, took great care of us, and helped make our night one to remember. We will definitely be back and hope to see Karina again. Thank you for such a fantastic dining experience!

The staff here is beyond kind and the ingredients are all very fresh. The pricing is reasonable as well, and they have all amenities such as forks for those who cannot use chopsticks, a sauce bar and aprons to protect your clothes - so cute !!

The black sesame bingsu was delicious, rich, and came with toppings that complemented the dessert. The strawberry matcha bingsu was also delicious! The service was quick, but I felt the large black sesame bingsu could have used more ice cream, as we only received one scoop. I also think adding more strawberries would make the strawberry matcha bingsu even better. Overall, it was a good experience with delicious bingsu!“

It is always a pleasure to come in for a lunch or dinner. The restaurant is fairly small, so it may be really full and busy and sometimes you may need to wait 10-15 min for a table. Just one personal remark: I really enjoyed the ambiance more in the past when they used to play traditional Japanese, Korean and other “Asian” music. The new playlist with modern songs just does not fit this otherwise wonderful place. I hope one day you can play those traditional tunes again.“
