“Always the best Tim Horton’s Coffee inside this Esso @ Coxwell. Rebka (not sure of correct spelling of here) is working there alone on most days and in close quarters. She deserves recognition!

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

You can tell that Chef Ishan and his team truly care about the food and experience they are offering to their guests and go out of their way to offer suggestions, provide any information you need and offer delicious bonuses throughout your meal. There is a fantastic range of options on their menu making it an excellent spot to stop for a specialty drink and appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or cocktail hour. With every bite you can taste the quality of what you are eating. I ate there with my 3 and 6 year old recently and they loved it just as much as I did. I highly recommend everyone visits this unique spot and appreciates their ethos for themselves! If I lived in Toronto I would definitely be a regular customer.“

“I ordered the bbq and crispy rice one and it was so good. The portion was generous, the BBQ was flavorful and tender, and the crispy chicken had that perfect crunchy texture. Everything was well-seasoned without being too salty or oily. Definitely worth it!“

“Amazing Pizza! Stopped today while in town and it’s just like the old school NYC slice shops. Friendly staff and very efficient at moving the customers through without feeling rushed. Solid, fresh ingredients too! I had seen it on a YouTube interview and decided I had to check it out and I’m glad I did.“

“This is a cute, clean, bright space. I had the ham, cheese, egg crepe with spinach. It tasted far better than any ham/cheese/egg combo I've ever had - delicious. The hibiscus berry had no added sugar which I really appreciated and tasted great. Will definitely return. Staff were very friendly and attentive too!“

She explained how the place works with the many beer selection they have.
And we grab some snacks 🥨 that where very good . Great place , is so big and love the tall ceilings.

“This place is amazing. Had the OG fish and chips and cauliflower wings. They definitely know their batter! Light, fluffy, yet delightfully crispy. Also highly recommend their mussels and clams in garlic butter wine sauce. And for the price, it was some of the better seafood we’ve had in the city. Definitely earned multiple repeat visits in the future.“

The staff here is beyond kind and the ingredients are all very fresh. The pricing is reasonable as well, and they have all amenities such as forks for those who cannot use chopsticks, a sauce bar and aprons to protect your clothes - so cute !!
Definitely an experience worth having and their complimentary ice cream at the end is like a reward after a filling meal 😋“

“We came here and had a pleasant experience. Our group ordered the strawberry matcha and black sesame bingsu. The black sesame bingsu was delicious, rich, and came with toppings that complemented the dessert. The strawberry matcha bingsu was also delicious! The service was quick, but I felt the large black sesame bingsu could have used more ice cream, as we only received one scoop. I also think adding more strawberries would make the strawberry matcha bingsu even better. Overall, it was a good experience with delicious bingsu!“

“Had such a great experience! 🥑✨ The owner was absolutely amazing, so sweet, welcoming, and generous. I tried the avocado dish and it was lovely! He also kindly gave me samples of the cauliflower rolls and spring rolls, and everything was so yummy.

“Wandered into Barbary Ape on Friday evening after a long week of flights and it was exactly the kind of spot that surprises you. The taxidermy and old world decor covering every wall gave it this eccentric, almost speakeasy vibe that made me put my phone away for a while. Staff at the bar knew the history of half the pieces on display and happily pointed out their favorites when asked. Small detail but the low lighting and worn leather seating around 7pm made it feel more like a private club than a tourist stop, easily worth the detour.“
