“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“Cafe Landwer in Forrest hill village is such a great spot for healthy and delicious brunch style foods. Everything is fresh flavour full and nourishing. I had the halloumi salad and it was outstanding! Jad our server was attentive and welcoming and gave excellent service . Overall an ideal lunch experience! Thank you Cafe Landwer! “Got the original double, looked better than it tasted. Wasn't a bad burger but kinda lacked the hit of umami/oomph you would expect from a more premium beef burger in general. Patty size was decent and on the larger side. While it was nice that the fries could be ordered as half curly and half onion rings, and that they gave a good portion, they were kinda cold and a little hard (still crispy though). Came around 3pm on Sunday and there was a short line. Very limited seating - was lucky to get a table even at that time. Banana pudding was yummy though so stars for that and friendly service:)“

“Went here for an early birthday dinner and absolutely loved it! So beautiful inside (including their bathroom!), service is wonderful and quick. The only thing that was a bummer was that they knew it was a birthday but didn’t do/offer anything special. The food was delectable, the Brazilian cheese puffs have a unique soft and chewy texture with a cheesy and garlic flavour, the macaroni pie was saucy and unbelievably flavourful (we even got a cheese pull 😝), and the firecracker shrimp were incredibly delicious, spicy, and not too breaded/fried which we adored. Looking forward to returning!“

The French Toast special was delicious with so many textures (and a great serving size), and the maple chicken sandwich was SO GOOD. The pricing is insanely affordable for the quality of food….like I don’t know the last time I got brunch for under $20 in the city. “A friend and I enjoyed lunch on Friday October 17. We had reserved and were seated at one of their window tables. Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. Final comments: Great food, great service and very reasonable prices.“
