Homemade gnocchi was delicious and friends that ordered the chicken Marsala also enjoyed their meals. Sebastian was a delightful host. Come during off-peak hours if you want a seat. I dislike the curtain you have to walk through at the entrance as it's very dirty and unnecessary. I wish they'd remove it.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“I ordered the bbq and crispy rice one and it was so good. The portion was generous, the BBQ was flavorful and tender, and the crispy chicken had that perfect crunchy texture. Everything was well-seasoned without being too salty or oily. Definitely worth it!“

Our group of friends gets together once a month, and this time we decided to try somewhere different from our usual neighborhood spot. We're so glad we did! The food was great, but Karina's outstanding service truly made the evening special.

“We've been on a bit of a bingsu kick so finally tried The Cups. We ordered the large matcha bingsu which was around $20-25. Good size portion for two people to have, and it was mostly good. We really liked the almond chips and the mochi, and we felt that they didn't skimp on the matcha powder which is nice.

Where it missed the mark a bit for us is the green tea ice cream was actually freezer burnt and made it a bit difficult to eat. There was also a bit of clumping with the snow near the bottom.

This place seems to be really popular on weekends so it might be hard to get a seat.“

This is my goto firehouse subs location with excellent service every time I’m in. I couldn’t get a refund online so the manager Vraj was great and told me the next time I was in the area he would make my subs since I had already paid. I came into the store and he made them up for me even though it was four days later. Highly recommend this location and if there is ever an issue They will make it right. Vraj provided excellent service and resolved my issue that firehouse corporate ignored. Subs excellent as always, really fresh ingredients . Puts the competition to shame.“

“I’ve been to this location several times now for cakes, macarons, ice cream… and from my experience this one has by far the best service and desserts every time (I’ve also been to the downtown location on Spadina and the one in Richmond Hill), I picked up a small Mont Blanc today I preordered months in advance during a promo for my birthday and the staff working there was very friendly and sweet and I really appreciated the hand-written message card that came with it! 🥹 Cake was of course delicious and a hit with everyone in my family, big thanks for making the drive in today’s snowy weather worth it 🙏❤️“

The restaurant continues to evolve, introducing new menu ideas and popular Filipino desserts-to-go like Taho, Buko Pandan, and Fruit Salad. Kabalen is a true gem in North York, perfect for bringing visitors to satisfy their cravings - a home away from home. One drawback though, is the accessibility. The dining area is located upstairs and the washroom is downstairs in the basement. As a result, it is not advisable for wheelchair users to dine in. Nonetheless, the establishment maintains a clean environment and is conducive for group gatherings, or for individuals like myself, who just wants to unwind after a days work.“

“We love the Muddy York. My wife and I try to go in at least once a week. The staff there are very friendly, and the beer is very good. My wife loves the Unamas, and I'm more partial to the Gas Light. The best part for us is that we can bring our dog along. He can chill on the cold floor while we have a pint or two :)

The attention to detail on the sushi naming and packaging. Fish is always fresh and my personal fave is the torched sushi and tofu pockets. Would get these on repeat everytime. The location near Cathedral town is spacious for indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of drinks to choose from too to pair with the sushi.
If you love Anime and Sushi, this is the spot.

They even had a featured artist alley sticker area by the cashier supporting other local businesses.
