“Small, unassuming Korean fried chicken joint on the exterior of the main plaza. They sell boneless fried chicken which is air fried. We tried the soy garlic; the chicken was juicy (all chicken thighs) and the sauce was perfect. The owner is also very friendly. There's limited seating so takeout is also a good option. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!”

“I've been to Tengo KTV three times now. The man working on weekdays is incredibly sweet and provides great service. It's very easy to find English songs through Youtube on their system, and they will help you set it up. Pricing is reasonable as well, especially compared to other karaoke places in Markham.”

Homemade gnocchi was delicious and friends that ordered the chicken Marsala also enjoyed their meals. Sebastian was a delightful host. One of the best Korean Fried Chicken in town. So juicy and tender with the signature Spicy Korean Barbaque sauce or Hot & Sweet sauce. The Jokbal is also a must try. The owner is super friendly too.”

“1st time here and it's nice to see a Korean Restaurant is here in the Langham Plaza mainly dominated by Chinese restaurants. It's nice to switch it up to try Korean Food.

I ordered the pork bone soup. Good broth, not too spicy but just right. Nice & pipping hot. Good amount of pork bone, falls off the bone. A piece of potato and lots of nappa (kimchi) which is great.

The brown rice was steamy and the side dishes included glass noodles, radish and kimchi. I feel like they are understaffed, only 2 servers that need to collecting money, handle take out orders and in-person dining, so please be patient.

The server asked me if I want any more re-fill on side dishes, I responded by getting more kimchi, that was a nice touch.

Price at $14.99 CDN + tax for pork bone soup is a good price as many others priced it at $16.99 or more.

I would definitely come back to try the ginseng chicken and sizzling plate of meat. (NOTE: I did check out the menu, seems like many of their Korean BBQ meat are spicy option and not much mild, maybe it's their own culinary style but wish they have non-spicy option coz my family don't eat that much spicy).”

“We order cake for every special event from this bakery and it has never let us down! This time it was for 520(Chinese Valentines Day) and they made the cake so cute in a heart shape and so loving that when my husband brought it to me I thought it was our first date again hahaha. I love this bakery so much and I order cakes for my friends and family for special events and birthdays every time (I swear the owner might think I have diabetes from ordering so much cake)”

“I ordered two items from the menu. The Vietnamese Crab Noodle Soup ($22.95) - I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a soft shell crab, on the side. And the Vietnamese Special Platter ($32.95). Both tasted good, but I was a bit disappointed with the amount of protein that came with the platter. I heard the restaurant provides complimentary soft service ice cream at the end of the meal, but it was not offered to me.”

“Delicious dim sum from a small family owned location. I got the siu mai and the the pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings, both were quite delicious. The siu mai was flavourful and juicy, and the pan friend shrimp and chive dumpling was crispy, slightly sweet and savoury.

Since they are a smaller operation, the portions were not exactly the largest for the price but the flavour was definitely all there.

Edit: came back for the curry fish balls, and those were super tender and the curry was flavourful. Would recommend”

“Visited vegetarian restaurant Bo Tree today, and I highly recommend it. The carrot purree soup is a nice surprise, which is not our typical combo soup. Fancier, in a good way. The Japanese "chicken" Katsu is prepared with Japanese rice, with very fluffy eggs. The curry is flavorful and better than some of those I have tried in authentic Japanese restaurant. The"chicken" is chewy, and surprisingly resembled the real counterpart. The dumplings udon is a good choice for comfort food. The menu has a huge selection, and I would definitely go back again to try their other dishes. Their fish and chips will be the next on my radar.”

“In general, the dishes I ordered was so delicious and Hong Kong styled. The portion is great and very valued for money. The steak was juicy. The curry chicken ( 咖哩雞) and salted chicken ( 鹽焗雞) was so tender.

The waitresses were so nice and helpful.

“love coming here for my family’s birthday cakes! the whipped cream frosting is delicious, and the cake is so soft and fluffy without being dry. the durian cake (6 inches) is fabulous but i do wish the durian was more spread out and not all filled directly in the middle. i placed my order two days before my pick up time and it was made on time luckily. the lady was so nice to give me an extra candle as i needed two for my sisters. will definitely be returning back as always”

“First time ordering from Bacha after recommendation from family. Got the Bacha tray with 50 pcs which came with a free drink. They let me switch from milk tea to passion fruit tea as I can’t have lactose. One lady kindly opened the door for me as my hands were full carrying the food. The tray was exactly like their photo, large portions and fresh. The colourful dragon roll had so many ingredients! The spicy salmon rolls wasn’t too spicy. Very good value. Would definitely order it again.”

“Big Beef Bowl Hand-Pulled Noodle is such a long standing spot in Markham for a good reason.

Their lunch is tasty, fast, and inexpensive. $25 lunch combo for two people (Mon, Tues, and Thurs, opens at 11AM). It comes with 1 hot clay pot rice, 1 soup noodle, and a decent sized snack. A few choices for each of these items. Check the menu out. Honestly can't ask for more and this is why it gets jam packed easily at lunch time. Good news is that people are usually eat-and-go without sticking around for long. So even with the crowd, you might be able to get a seat in 10~15 min during the busiest time. Alternatively, quite a bit of people simply call-in for takeout's and Uber.

You can really tell the team cares about both the food quality and the customers, even when the restaurant is busy. “Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I popped in for the first time while I was waiting for my clay pot rice take out and noticed an old looking bakery right next to it.

Sure the bakery is very dated looking but they offer very affordable cheap buns that taste good!

The older lady was the cashier and she was very nice and welcoming. My 6 buns came up to $8.50 (bring cash)

Happy to support older businesses as long as the food is good, who cares about the interior imo.”

“This is truly one of the best restaurants in Markham. I would honestly rate it a 6 out of 5 for authentic Cantonese cuisine.

We tried their spicy honey oyster, black bean sauce clam, and the chenpi garlic spare ribs. All of them are absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

Next was the sweet and sour pork, which had perfectly crispy edges and a nice balance of sweetness, especially with the diced pineapple. The meal ended with the beef fried rice and the taste was also impressive.

A very satisfying dinner. Worth the wait. Highly recommended!”
