“Great food, good service & lovely ambiance. My wife & I ordered the Caesar salad for two and they made it from scratch in front of us; it was the best Caesar salad I've ever had.”
“Been coming to this plaza for awhile and decided to stopped for lunch at this restaurant. The food was good, tasty with good portion but it is over priced. However, I would still recommend it.”
“I went to this restaurant with 2 friends. We wanted to try something new. We ordered a hotpot dinner and a dessert cold pot to share among us. The hotpot was very delicious with generous portions of meat, seafood, veggies, with a side of mung bean noodles to cook later on in the broth. Dessert was a cold pot with grass jelly, mochi, chestnut paste, azuki beans, peanuts and a whole bunch of other dessert toppings I’m sure I forgot to mention! Cold milk tea is poured into the pot and then served in individual bowls. There was enough food from both the dinner and dessert to feed the three of us leaving nothing behind, yet all feeling sufficiently full and satisfied. Thank you very much for the wonderful meal. I’m definitely coming back!”
“Jenna is an amazing host. Good range of food. Spirits shelf is seriously 3 deep! But the energy of this place comes from Jenna"s passion for customer service.”

“Went to Sushi Umi again for dinner last night. Phenomenal experience as the 1st time. Everything was very fresh and high quality. Appetizer, sashimi, sushi, temaki and dessert were all flavourful with a nice balance. Also ordered the a la carte of the waggu uni and foie gras sushi. The foie gras sushi was literally melted in my mouth. Very satisfied Omakase at Umi. Very attentive staff and professional chef. Keep up the good work Sushi Umi!!!”
“Went for dinner here tonight. What an amazing experience. True Mediterranean cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious. However the service was 10 out of 10. Alexandro was our server and I must say I have never experienced this kind of service. Amazing, awesome, fantastic. I would definitely recommend you try this restaurant. 10 out 10. 5 stars”
“Food slaps! Not really a fast food fan but this one did not disappoint. Got the signature beef crispy burger and wanton with chili oil. Perfect combination!! They also have hand washing station, which is very fascinating.”

“I love coming to hai di lao.Making a reservation is easy and servers are generally great. Eva especially today was accommodating in providing pillows for my back since I’m pregnant and any need we needed. Thank you Eva!”
“This was the best Mandarin experience I have ever had in all honesty. Mandarin has always been my go-to for a buffet experience but what really set this one apart from the others I have visited over the years was the outstanding customer service. Our visit today was overseen by a lovely lady named Lily and her attentiveness to our needs and overall friendly demeanor was a pleasure to have. It was a real pleasure and surprise to have a very nice gentleman come to our table to thank us for our patronage and if we needed anything..it's always nice when it has happened in the past at other restaurants I have been too over the years..a good manager will always strive to make his customers happy but never have I had this happen at a buffet style restaurant usually being reserved for more quiet and private setting type places. What really surprised me though was that this was the Owner of this location!I truly enjoyed my visit today and this Mandarin location truly raised the bar in my eyes and this will now be my go-to Mandarin for a truly wonderful experience.Thank you to all the staff and management for giving me a great experience and one for me to look forward to having again in the future!”
“Albeit a franchise, this location is generous with the portion and the customer service is always so lovely! They always are happy to provide me with the California seasoning without hesitation, appreciate it. Keep up the good work, guys!My go-to is the Works or Veggie FriesVegetarian options: There are meatless optionsDietary restrictions: They try their best to accommodateParking: Mall parking, easy on certain times and day”
“Solid burger joint, probably one of the best in Markham. Their signature burger is loaded but their maple leafs burger (double patty) is my favorite.Staff are great and very accomodating, I didn't want the pineapple in my burger so they swapped it out with whatever I wanted of equal value.Would highly recommend as a dope burger spot”
“Good food, friendly staff, many many options, also have skewers/kebab. Can't say enough good things about it. They even have free pop.Love their coconut chicken soup based, can't find it like that anywhere else. Other places have it, but they always taste a little off. They also have triple flavour option too.Overall great place and good prices”
“Cute coffee place with interesting coffee, teas and food. The food is really good here. It can get very busy and there isn't a lot of seating. And the parking situation is worse.”
“A lunch experience to remember! My wife and I went to Sushi Gin to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful experience. It was difficult to find a sushi restaurant that served lunch omakses so I’m lucky to have found Sushi Gin. The décor, service, and food were all sublime and top notch. We ordered the lunch Omakase which comes with 7 dishes. Highlights were:Décor – Japanese minimalism / zen-like interior that was simple, orderly, uncluttered, and sleek. There are no individual tables other than the wrap around table surrounding the sushi bar which makes for an intimate experience. I loved the double-sided chop sticks, the cutlery, and the display of sushi knives just in front of us.Service – I must apologize for not asking for names but the servers were kind, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Upon arrival, we were nicely greeted and taken to our seats. They pulled out / pushed in our chairs and helped us put our coats on the back of the chairs. Tea was always topped up before we needed to ask, dishes were explained, and were always there to answer questions of any nature. I also noticed that our main server walked around and ensured that the utensils and chairs were perfectly aligned when not servicing the customers. Top notch. The same amazing service can be said for our chef who prepared each of the sushi related dishes right in front of us with his amazing skills. He explained each piece of nigiri and answered all our questions with patience and experience.Food – All 7 courses were delicious. The miso soup was light and seemed to have a fish type broth (very nice). The salad was the right temperature (not overtly cold like other restaurants) and excellently paired with potato salad to give it a creamier texture. The fried octopus appetizer was one of my favorites as it had perfect crispness and seasoned to perfection. The Chawanmushi was a first for me and I loved it. Besides the excellent taste, I also loved the small spoon that came with it. As for the sushi, the chef expertly created 10 pieces of Nigiri one-by-one with some of the following fish: Kinmedai, kampachi, salmon, akami, otoro, and uni. The nigiri was paired with their house made picked ginger which was refreshing. Loved how the chef brushed the house made soy sauce onto the sushi rice prior to serving them on our plates to ensure optimal soy sauce to rice ratio. The hand roll was next and was filled with diced otoro - Yum! The dessert was Tamago and I enjoyed it quite a bit considering it wasn’t overtly sweet, like many are. Finally, as a special surprise, they served us a delicious chocolate cake plus a cheesecake mousse. Thank you for the kind birthday gesture.Upon leaving the restaurant, they helped with our chairs and coats again, while opening the doors for us on the way out. Impeccable service and food Sushi Gin. Thank you for a memorable omakase and we will be back!Dietary restrictions: Feel free to tell them about any dietary restrictions as they are very accommodating.”
“We recently dined at Fujisan Japanese restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was exceptional, with a variety of delicious sushi options, including some torched sushi that was real tempting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. What really stood out to me was the quick and efficient service, which added to the overall pleasant vibe of the restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, almost like being in an authentic Japanese home.If you're looking for a restaurant with great food, friendly staff, great value and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Fujisan Japanese restaurant. I will definitely be returning!”
“I dream of this place, hate living so far from it. The deep n delicious hits and I haven't had a coffee ice cream as good as their Vietnamese one.Vegetarian options: Have vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Have vegan and gluten free options, allergens listed”
“Been coming to this plaza for awhile and decided to stopped for lunch at this restaurant. The food was good, tasty with good portion but it is over priced. However, I would still recommend it.”
“Galito's authentic grilled chicken is the best in town. The family platter is a good portion with two side platters to choose from. Give yourself/family a break going into the kitchen.”

“Wife said it's the best burger she's ever had. And brisket grilled cheese was messy but full of flavour. Tater tots were fresh and crispy. Mac n cheese was amazing as well. We were also given a complimentary dessert which was unexpected but much appreciated. We'll be back.”
“So, my girlfriend and I were feeling for a good burrito yesterday and decided to meet up at the Main St., Markham location. Counter staff was quite friendly and even provided insight to help us with decisions. We ended up doing a Shrimp/Halibut combo (one bowl and a quesadilla) with a great array of fixings. Very filling and worth the price!”
“First impressions: very clean and well organized. Delicious halal tacos, burritos, and bowls. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I recommend the spicy chicken and spicy steak. Their are a couple of tables to enjoy the food fresh. Give it a visit, you won't be disappointed.”
“First time trying this place. It's located inside the mall. Simple and nice decor. We ordered the following:1. shiitake mushroom with orange shreds (definitely recommend!)2. braised tofu with wild mushroom (very good!)3. Thai fried rice4. marinated assorted platterIt is better to make reservations. Would definitely return.”
“Amazing service. Ordered on line and when I arrived they greeted me with a smile , double checked the order was right and off I went. Fast and friendly. So rare these days! Ordered the pad Thai and loved love loved it! Will definitely eat here ”

“Incredible spot! My partner and I have been here over a dozen times and each time has been excellent. The team here is super friendly, great set-up in each bay and just all around a great set-up. Just celebrated his birthday this weekend and team went out of their way to make sure everything was flawless. Thank you so much, we love this place!!”

“We had a very nice time at this Swiss chalet location. Our server Valerie was very nice to our little one and the service was very good even though it was very busy. We plan to come back!”
“Excellent dinner, service was good. Came for my wife's birthday dinner, which she enjoyed. Presentation of each course was very well done. All the fish was very fresh. Will definitely be back . Thank you for a great evening.”
“I went for date night and had a wonderful time. The drinks were great and the food was awesome. I can't find anything to complain about. Piece of advice, go hungry... some portions were pretty generous.”
“First time ordering a cake from here. Got the match jasmine yuzu cake for my in-law's birthday. We all were pretty happy with he cake taste! Well made and the sweetness was perfect. Will definitely repurchase in the future. :)”
“Amazing restaurant! The food was delicious and 10/10. It was our first time trying this spot and we definitely had a great time. Our server was very nice and helped us decide what to order. Our drinks were so good as well. We will definitely be back. I advise making reservations to going prior as the space is small.”
“My wife Lorrie and I dropped in to Kelsey’s for dinner tonight and a great meal as always Excellent burgers with a great selection of assorted food on the menu with drink specials It was great to see Ricky again still behind the bar with all his charm and smiles as he greets you at your table It’s was also nice to see the manager walking around the restaurant talking to everyone throughout the night Let’s not forget the great selection of desserts Thanks Guys Paul Sands Unionville”
“This place is like a 3.5/5 stars.Located in the plaza where Day & Night Angus Steakhouse used to be, the resto is moderately sized. The plaza it sits in has quite a lot of parking so that shouldn't be an issue. My gf and I arrived on a thurs night w/ no reservation at around 7:10pm and were seated within 10 min on the patio (which is massive btw).We ordered only 2 items as we expected huge portions (having eaten at BKK Thai a month ago).Beef pad thai: Good flavour, nice tang. Not in the same league as the pad thai at Chiang Rai. Some of the noodles were slightly overcooked imo. But the authenticity was there.Chicken khao soi: The 'mild' spice lvl was actually tolerable for my gf for once LOL. The chicken was moist and cooked so well. The broth was layered out the wazoo.I was expecting quality commensurate w/ Pai downtown. After all, the owners of Pai were the ones who opened this place! I've gotta say, it doesn't quite meet the same bar that Pai has set.Maybe it's the inflated pricing and the smaller than normal portions? This place is good in terms of authenticity but quite honestly, it doesn't stack up to BKK Thai, Isaan Der, Chiang Rai or dare I say, even JATUJAK in terms of value. I will say the khao soi broth did have the same flavour as the one at Pai though, so that's a huge plus. And they also had some really interesting cocktails that looked tempting.”
“We arrived on time for 12:15pm res and still had to wait about like 10-15 min outside on the deck (gorgeous view btw, with the water mill and pond). But it was funny to see them turning ppl away constantly if they were just coming as walk-ins.The hostess seated us and a server came over to let us know the daily food and drink specials. The brunch tower seemed very intriguing to me but it sounded like A LOT of food and my girlfriend (even though hangry at that point) knew she wasn't gonna be able to help me tackle even half the tower haha. So we settled on duck confit pancakes and huevos rancheros.Ok, so the food comes out and I'm pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes. The plates were quite hefty and you get a good amount of food (which I appreciate cuz I've got a big appetite). The presentation looked fantastic. Looked like michelin star plating. The duck had crispy skin, succulent meat (they actually give you a whole duck leg whereas I've been to restos that literally give you the drumstick and that's it). The pancakes were moist and fluffy. The rancheros were packed with goodies. I liked the fact that they actually cooked the tater tots well (crispy on the outside and tender on the inside). A lot of places screw up the potatoes. It also comes with a lot of egg and pulled pork which we really appreciated. To top it all off, we had some fresh mango peach juice to wash it all down. Yum!It's cracking up into expensive territory for brunch for sure (but I've seen way more egregious pricing downtown). I still rate it a 5 star experience. Great food, great presentation, great service and still borderline ok on the prices. Probably the best brunch spot in the markham area if you ask me. It tops Alchemy Coffee brunch for me (which is literally in the same neighbourhood).I know they host weddings and special events too and I'm kinda curious. I might inquire about it sometime.”
“Curry and fried pork chop are both very good $24inclusiveWhat a big contrast compared to the broccoli and white rice next to itA big plate of fried pork chop with two pieces as big as a man's handAfter eating the second piece, I started to feel a little bored?I'll try ramen next time*The tableware is super clean and ordered immediately”
“Amazing chicken kabab rolls. Obsessed with them that i order one every day or every other day. I always get mine with less sauce and it tastes amazing!!! Lowkey just ordered one ”
“I've watched this brewery grow a lot since the first time I visited them 7 years ago. The range of beers has grown as has their fantastic tap room. Great staff, welcoming environment and dog friendly. What us really outstanding are the beers, a good balance of lagers, IPAs and sours.”

“Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza. Picked one up and brought it home for the family to try.Smiles all around.Vegetarian options: Generous amount of toppings”
“This Tim Hortons has to be one of the best managed locations. Their front-line staff are friendly and knowledgeable when issues arise with their ordering system and the Tim Hortons app. Martin is able to resolve issues with the app order. One gentleman who is probably the supervisor is also knowledgeable and has great customer service skills. He is quick to respond to customer issues and appears to be supportive of his team.”
“I ordered the impossible whopper combo and it was great experience. The staff are very polite and go above and beyond to make your experience great, would highly recommend this burger king over others as it is very clean and the food quality is always ”
“Great friendly staff. I'm quite the regular here. I usually visit for a dark roast or tea and they make their drinks pretty consistently, which sometimes at certain other locations, that is not the case. If I ever have an issue, they are quickly to resolve it. Great work.”
“The lady named Gowry is super friendly and super nice. Love her customer service, she is very sweet lady. This Tim Hortons is located right next to Green Zone inside the hospital.”
“Everything is great and even more so with the remodeling they did, and the coolest thing is that it is open to be inside the cafeteria 24 hours a day (or that's what I think because that's what it says on the door) the only bad thing is that in the remodeling they forgot the chargers and therefore people also go to the tim to work on their devices, so if you want to come to this tim, bring your devices with a fully charged battery and spare mobile chargers.”
“I find, in life, you generally get what you pay for - and this is no exception. As each franchise has its own taste some hit some are off by some percentage. But It won't replace my day-to-day need of coffee Caffeine Tim Hortons Extra Large Coffee Original Blend - Double Double serve's the purpose! Freshly brewed great taste , but it's well worth splashing out on if I fancy some caffetine based, self-indulgence and luxury.”
“My two favorites. I order this when I don’t know what to eat at night. It’s simple and delicious. The auntie there is very enthusiastic and the service is very good ❤️”
“I had to log on today and say that the manager at this location is top notch. I had a mix-up with an online order sent to this location. The original location I went to was not helpful at all. Here, the 7828 Kennedy Rd-location manager took the time to explain to me (over the phone) how to cancel an app-based order, and when that failed, she did honor the mobile order later in the afternoon. The first location (which I should respectfully keep anonymous), just brushed me aside and told me to contact the Kennedy location for a refund, brushed me off and did not help me thereafter. It really is a night-and day difference between different Tim Horton locations.”
“Everything was fresh and hot. Although the egg barely filled half the my bagel and wasn't centered, it was good. Staff was efficient. I was happy to get napkins without having to ask.”
“This tim Hortons suck. I went there once to buy a doughnut. IT WAS MELTED. They choose to give me a melted doughnut while I was watching them. Their service is exceptional. I can't even fathom how terrible their service is. They don't have any expression and seem as if they'd rather be anywhere else. If they didn't want to be there then just find at different job!!! It's not that hard to make a warm sandwich too, every time I buy a cravable, it's cold to the point I can't even eat one without drinking the hot drinks! They are terrible and I hope they will improve, otheriwise I'll edit this review to be more negative if they continue to do wrongs. At least the washrooms were clean enough...Actually the drinks aren't bad but the service is still terrible with some people, the young black lady is better with service than the other people.Part 2Changing the review after coming back too see if they have changed. They have changed, the food is better and warmer along with the service which has improved a lot. I guess they have done a better job with the employees.”
“EMPLOYEE opinionfor customer for take out Before you leave check the bags don't come back complain anything missing there oh and also french fries doesnt need request ketchup anytimes when take out at least give me one please”

“Very good jerk chicken. Chicken was juicy, and the species and seasoning were spot on. Service was quick and good. It's mostly a takeout place though. For $12.50 if you pay cash, this is pretty good ”

Swiss Chalet
“We had a very nice time at this Swiss chalet location. Our server Valerie was very nice to our little one and the service was very good even though it was very busy. We plan to come back!”
“Food was delicious. I gave this a 4-star because I feel the price is too high for such little ingredients included. I got the Pork Spicy Garlic ramen - it was great, but I would have enjoyed it more if, let's say, a seasoned egg was included. For the price I paid, I don't think including something like an egg to this ramen is too much to ask for.”

“Amazing Colombian restaurant in Markham. It's a cozy spot with super friendly folks, quick service, and amazing food. Give it a try the next time you're in Markham!”
“Such a little gem hidden in a small plaza. This Italian cafe is our favourite. We always order the arancini, rose pasta, and a cold cut sandwich. Their tiramisu and cannoli is soo good! You can tell the owners, Anne and Sebastian truly care about their business and customers. Can’t wait to come back soon!”
“New smash burger joint that's halal and has a nice compact menu with traditional offerings and toppings.Nice taste and quick cook time make it a good place for a quick bite, though like most smash burger places it will be a messy hand-held affair.A good amount of seating with a mix of movable tables and high-top bar style seating near the window to serve a variety of group sizes.”
“So this boutique shop is tucked away in the unit right next to Yuzu No Ki (sharing a space w/ Tora Sushi). My gf and I did not even notice it the first time around when we visited Yuzu No Ki (which is also a 5 star shop btw).Admittedly, I'm not the biggest mochi fan, but the quality of these mochis were incredible. My gf ordered an assorted box of 6 mochis.Very fresh and I really liked the cream filled mochis more than the regular filling ones. Mango in particular, struck a deep chord w/ me. I love mango anything and the mango mochi did not disappoint. To get the best tasting experience, take your refrigerated mochis out and let them rest until room temperature before consuming. I found that the dough and filling had a better mouth feel upon waiting a bit after taking them out of the fridge.”
“This is the first restaurant I love the taste of hotpot broth. it’s sour, spicy and yummy (highly recommend “thai tom yum signature soup”)The food is so fresh. I spent $200 (for 2 peoples) and it’s so worthy tbh.”
“Love gelato goes above and beyond to ensure quality customer service to clients. That’s just where it starts! Their various flavours of gelato are delicious! This is the most creative delicious gelato place in the GTA. If you haven’t discovered this Diamond in the Rough yet- what are you waiting for? They are the best!!”

“I have been patronizing this cake shop for many years. The boss is very attentive to making cakes. The design, taste and ingredients are all very good. The boss is also very friendly. My kids really like the strawberry cream cake from this cake shop.”
“The assortment of pastries and desserts, each resembling a piece of art, is incredibly tempting. Today, I had three of them, and they were very delicious. I eagerly anticipate tasting others on my next visit. Moreover, the ambiance of this shop is ideal for gathering with friends, enjoying coffee, and enjoying delectable treats.”

“Fast, fresh, friendly taco stand! We really enjoyed our fish, beef and pork tacos. Hard to choose a favourite but maybe the beef. Sauces and garnishes were all tasty. I liked the bonus fries in the taco. I'm pretty stuffed after 3 tacos. Thanks Enrique and enjoy your winter break! Hoping to be back before he shuts down for the season.”
“Came early for lunch with my wife before an appointment to try the burgers and found other dinner plate options. Food was amazing and the man at the front of house is just about the most charismatic person in the world. Would come again, will try the shakes next time.Too bad I forgot to take photos, too busy enjoying the food.”
“Excellent dinner, service was good. Came for my wife's birthday dinner, which she enjoyed. Presentation of each course was very well done. All the fish was very fresh. Will definitely be back . Thank you for a great evening.”

Taro’s Fish
“Came here many times to get sliced sashimi but this was the first time we decided to dine in. We got the three ways of salmon don.In the bowl there was plain sashimi, a torched salmon and a diced marinated salmon. It also had a few green veggies, a piece of shrimp and a soft boiled egg.The salmon was very high quality. The torched salmon was extremely soft and had a melt in your mouth quality. I do not usually enjoy soft boiled eggs but this one was quite good and added a refreshing feel to the meal. I would highly recommend this dish!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“My recent visit to Swish Chalet left much to be desired. The chicken I ordered was disappointingly overcooked and burned, rendering it nearly inedible. The charred taste overshadowed any potential flavors, leaving me regretting my choice and questioning the quality of their kitchen. To add insult to injury, the prices at Swish Chalet were exorbitant for the lackluster meal I received. Paying a premium should warrant a satisfying dining experience, but unfortunately, the burnt chicken did not justify the steep cost.Equally disappointing was the lackluster customer service. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, providing minimal assistance and failing to address my concerns about the poorly prepared dish. The overall experience was marred by a lack of engagement and professionalism from the restaurant staff. In conclusion, my visit to Swish Chalet was marked by overpriced, burnt chicken and subpar customer service. I cannot recommend this establishment based on my disappointing*The manager of Swiss Chalet reached out to me, extending an invitation to revisit the restaurant. I went there on January 18th and noticed a significant improvement in the food quality during this visit. Basi, who took care of our order, was exceptional, adding to the positive experience.”
“Best ice cream shop!! They give giant scoops for very decent price and the flavour is amazing. The campfire smores and muskoka tracks are my favourite. The service is very fast and are able to accommodate both drive thru and inside service. Parking lot is small so sometimes have to park on side roads when it's ”
“A good Swiss Chalet. Nice environment. Clean. Prompt, pleasant and courteous service from server Jessica. Chicken can occasionally be dry but very good value with 2 can dine for $20.99. East parking. Would recommend if wanting Swiss Chalet.”
“The space is great to sit, relax and even work. Barista is very attentive to you and willing to go extra mile for your need. The experience is consistent over the years I visit which implies great management indeed to make barista care for its customer.”
“Open lateWas coming home from business trip happy to discover they were open lateKnew wife was awake because we were going to watchFormula 1 was on at 1 amBought wife a mint chip blizzardWas a hero when I got home!”
“Friendly staff with a nice vibes!! Kid-friendly… like my kids love this restaurant, talking to the staff etc :)Food handling with care. Dining area is clean. This Harvey’s location is the best one.Just the design of garbage bin is a bit confusing. (But this is Harvey’s issue, not related to this Harvey’s location.)”
“Just a heads up that this is not a Green Grotto location! It’s a sit down restaurant that serves the green grotto drinks. You gotta go to Sauga for the last real location.”
“Two things will tell you if you’re at a good location.1. Exceptional staff and baristas who don’t miss a beat, and 2. The quality and taste of the Nitro Cold Brew. And this location won me at that.I’m a bit particular about the taste of Nitro, and if its pulled wrong or the ratio of water that is mixed in is wrong, it can throw the flavour off. If the tanks and lines aren’t cleaned properly you can get a bitter or strange tasting beverage. There are a lot of moving parts in making sure the cold brew is up to par, and is usually a good indicator as to how much care the staff takes in preparing the cold brew (and likely everything else). That litmus test is what I personally use to know if I want to keep going to a location or not, and I never have issues here. Also special shout-out to JC who knew exactly what I wanted from my Nitro beverage. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Keep up the great work. Cheers!”
“Incredible experience at this particular location, the customer service was just above and beyond. We came in to choose any birthday cake and leave until our eyes caught this beautiful Winnie the Pooh and piglet cake. Unfortunately our group of three also consists of a tigger, who was non existent on the cake. How could we buy a cake without the complete trip?! Yvonne saw the disappointment in our eyes and made our day by going out of her way to draw tigger. Not only is she a sweetheart but she sure is talented as well! Thank you for making our birthdays girls day even more special Yvonne! She was so touched. Hope to see you again!”
“Had a large party to host family and friends after a funeral. Food was excellent. Service was exceptional. Dorres and May took great care of us. My favorite swiss chalet location by far!”
“Hubby redeemed the free drink today at 16th Ave & Hwy 48 location. Plenty parking at the plaza. Cute interior, very clean. Excellent customer service. The staff Anissa & Ghumita are very friendly and polite. Definitely come back to get more drinks ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This Harvey's is the closest one to my home. It's a combo store with Swiss Chalet. It's located next to Kelsey's and faces Markham Road, just south of 14th Avenue. I found out through one of my social media feeds that Harvey's had a burger deal. You had a choice between getting the original or veggie burger through the Harvey's app for $1.65. I love a good deal. I used the app for the first time to order my original burger and customize it. I like that Harvey's has garlic mayo and a ton of veggies. I wanted to use my Scene points. I needed to order a minimum of $5 to be able to use them. I got a regular orange cream shake, which got me to this minimum. It was nice using my points and paying just over $1 for my order. I drove southbound on Markham Road and turned right to get to Harvey's. I was greeted by a seagull and two Canadian geese. All were looking for food. I was, too! At the order area, I spoke with a helpful woman. I indicated that I had a order. She found my name on the order and said that I could pull up to the window. The woman was great. She handed my shake and small paper bag with my burger. I thanked her and drove home. I had the shake on my way home. I do appreciate that the top was sealed with a couple of sticky labels. However, taking it off was a challenge. You do need to make sure that you're not sucking down remnants of these labels. I loved the shake. It was like a mild orange version of a creamsicle. It was the perfect size and made me happy. I had the burger for dinner. It was excellent for the price that I got for it. Delicious toppings. Flavourful beef patty. The perfect whole wheat bun. It satisfied my burger craving. My wallet was happy with the price, too. I had a wonderful experience. I hope to take advantage of future deals and return to this eatery for more. (142)”
“Honest to God this is a no-brainer what can I say about Wendy's except for f and delicious You still get your money's worth by ordering the deluxe junior cheeseburgers and fries and you're good to go Well at least I am lol they hit a home run every time not only this location but all locationsVegetarian options: For those of you who are vegetarian there's plenty of options You can get the different salads that they have You can even get a Caesar salad but without the chicken I'm sure it'll be less of course but there are a lot of options plentKid-friendliness: Although I would imagine it is kid-friendly there isn't a playground such as like the competitor but they have a lot of stuff for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair friendly You can get in and out easily enough”
“I placed a mobile order in the parking lot for a Banana Loaf cake (not warmed). Although this should be quick to fulfill, sometimes orders like this do take some time due to how busy they are. Nevertheless, I was greeted enthusiastically as soon as I stepped in and one of the baristas asked me if my name was _____. I said yes and he quickly directed me to the middle area to wait for my order. It took less than a minute for another barista to hand me the loaf and I was on my way.The Banana loaf was flavourful and tasty even the next day. Only thing I have is the high calories and sugar but I suppose this is expected. I received it free as part of a deal so I can’t complain too much.I do have a little beef with seating at Starbucks in general. Not the same as it used to be before COVID where there were nice comfy seating. But as I remember, this particular location never did have lounge chairs, only wooden ones. They limited the seats during COVID but have since brought it back.”
“Good fast food as expected from McDonald's. This location has limited seating as it's located inside a Walmart. They have self-serve fountain drinks. They no longer refill the hand sanitizer .”
“I went for date night and had a wonderful time. The drinks were great and the food was awesome. I can't find anything to complain about. Piece of advice, go hungry... some portions were pretty generous.”

“Huge menu. Good pho. I also enjoy their rice paper rolls. The service is amazing especially the front. The guy is always super friendly and makes you smile. It can get really busy weekday lunches due to the nearby high school. Paying cash is ”
“We walked back in time into Peter's fine dining restaurant for an "Old school" dining experience. I forgot how impeccable the service and how amazing the flavors were back then. I had a really awesome birthday! Thank you Peter's fine dining and the very attentive service. 5+ stars for the service and the amazing food!”
Cheap Eats
“Probably the best coffee shop in the city. Great pour over selection, immaculate drinks. Actually know how to make a modern macchiato. Great roasting, great baristas. All round good.”
“Such a fantastic place to visit. While traveling for business I stumbled across this hidden gem. My first visit was on a Wednesday for lunch. The plate that I received was so wonderful. The flavors were amazing! We returned on a Thursday to try the beef. We were told that beef was only available Thursday and Friday and man was it worth the trip back. It turns out that the gentleman that was serving us was also the owner. His pride and talents in cooking his native flavors will blow your mind. Give this place a try anytime you’re in the area.”
“Overall, it's good. I highly recommend this restaurant's peach-flavored oolong with tea jelly. The perfect combination of milk and tea is very good.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Customers will be asked about their allergies when orderingParking: There is a parking area for three to four cars at the doorKid-friendliness: Sweet taste, suitable for children's tasteWheelchair accessibility: The door is flat, smooth and smooth”
“Located inside King Square shopping center, north of woodbine and 16th ave. This is by far the best food shop inside King Square. I was kinda blown away tbh. The food is very authentic. My friends and I ordered up PB1C (the party picnic box combo) to share. The box included sauteed shrimps, calamari, fishballs, fried chicken cartilage, grilled chicken, shrimp chips, mango salad and 3 sauces. On the side it came with mango sticky rice and 2 drinks. We chose thai milk tea (less sweet) and thai lime tea (less sweet as well). The food was SO TASTY. Seasoning was on point and the homemade sauces were FIRE. My fave was the peanut sauce. The thai lime tea was super unique imo. You don't really find that at many thai restos even the authentic ones downtown. I also loved the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level on the tea as well which is a welcome surprise. Normally, restos just give you a default level of sweetness.”

“This was my first time trying this bakery in this mall. And overall this place had so many options which all were so delicious, the quality of the food was amazing, everything was so fresh and there were a few things that were sold out when we came because of the popularity. But the service was very accommodating and the servers even gave us separate bags for each pastry and bun. But the main thing that stood out was the price for everything. It was all so cheap for the quality we were getting and it allowed us to try so many different things. I will definitely be coming back to try more and also seating was available nearby due to this place being in the food court area.”
“Tasty hand rolls. Lots of variety but the popular flavours are sometimes sold out. We got to use two promotions such as buy 3 get 1 free drink. The store is very small and if 2-3 people are already inside, there will be a lineup outside.”
“I love this place! Decently priced, clean and I love their kale noodles! Honestly one of my favourite places for a casual meal in Markham, and it works well as a takeout meal too!”
“This is my local hole in the wall Pizza stop that serves some really great pizzas. I've been having pizzas from here on and off and feel they've gotten really good at it over time. The pizzas here are light, have great flavour and made quick to order. They don't have any seating so it's just a pizza takeout place but they're real great value for money. Their Tuesday and pickup specials are great deals. My favourite here is the regular cheese, pepperoni and the cheese steak pizzas. Their pizzas are 5 star for the price and quality.Dietary restrictions: Halal”
“After recently attending a 'Doggie Fest Toronto' event back in February, one of the small business vendors' (Jumping Jake Dog Co.) recommended me to check out The Bernese Barista. Nonetheless, if you love dogs and coffee then this place is perfect for you and your pup to mingle with other dog lovers/coffee/tea enthusiasts.Water bowls are readily accessible to pups but menu selection for food and drinks are somewhat limited. I tried their Matcha latte but I wish there were more food and drink options. Overall concept and aesthetic is brilliant though! They also host their own fun events such as 'breed day' and they offer accessible cleaning supplies if your pup has an accident inside. This place is truly unique for a small business that is dog friendly.”
“Never been to this location in person however I always used to order from this specific one... I always get a chicken bowl (never goes wrong) & fries. When I first started ordering from this location the fries were always crispy & golden, super delicious! However the last 3 times I've ordered the fries they've managed to give me stale & overcooked batches... to the point where it feels like I'm eating literal chips... at first maybe I thought it just was the first/second time... but this is now the third time this has happened in a row!! The smell they give off as well smells like they haven't changed their oils at all... I used to work in the food industry & know about oil changes & making food with overused oils.... very disappointed! Don't think I'll be ordering from this location again.”
“Sushi was made fresh, didn't have to wait long and the food was tasty! It's nice to have a local sushi spot, previously I've had to drive far and customer service was also nice.”
“Perfect beef broth. Best noodles in town as they are hand cut as soon as the orders go in. This makes the textures of the noodles extremely chewy and elastic as well.”
“We ordered the cococcino and condensed milk coffee, both were delicious! I personally love the cococcino more, it’s exactly like the coconut coffee that you order in Vietnam - a must try!!!You can also buy beans from them :)”
“Food was hot and fresh, my party enjoyed their meal. I got the meteor pizza with chicken substitute. Taste was amazing! Kids enjoyed their mac and cheese as well, very yummy they said. Our server was really amazing, she was on top of everything and attentiative.”
“My first time here and will definitely return. Very open, bright and intimate atmosphere. Excellent food and spectacular service. The waiter had great knowledge of the menu and recommendations. Must try brunch restaurant and strongly recommend. Very well done Sisters & Co.”
“Came here 6:30pm today, we did make reservations but they are not busy when we arrive. Restaurant is 80% full at some point during our dinner. We used to order butter chicken everytime we go to Indian restaurant so we ask our server Nick to recommend something for us.Our server recommended some dishes we never try before so we ordered all of them.It turns out everything tasted great and nothing is too spicy for everyone in our group.Service is excellent, everyone at the restaurant dress well and very professional.Prices is a bit above average but I think is fair for the high quality service and great food.Lots of parking here so no problem at all.”
“I don't really understand why it's a Japanese BBQ when most of the menu was Korean... the table BBQ, meat variety, side dishes, bibimbam are all Korean style. The food was good and I enjoyed the overall dining experience.”
“First time at Big Sizzler, and it was amazing! The food was so good, and the staff was one of the friendliest I've ever met. It was my daughter's second birthday today and they went above and beyond by singing her happy birthday, and bringing her out some pancakes. I would highly recommend it. They also have some of the best Eggs Benedict in the city!”

bbq Chicken
“Been to this location three times now. Most recently with my gf who was finally freed from covid recovery prison lol. There's maybe like 4-5 street parking slots available. Otherwise you gotta park nearby at the theater or in the Terre Rouge parking lot (next to the merry-go carousel). Our server was bubbly and smiley. Idk if it was the owner herself serving us but she was very knowledgeable about the menu. It's a very famous korean fried chicken chain. They offer so much flexibility on their menu. You can get sautéed or fried chicken. You can choose wings, boneless or bone-in chicken. And you can go half and half on your orders if you want to try different flavors. There's just so much customization at this KFC place. The chicken is super crispy, plump, juicy and sauced so well. The rosé tteokbokki is one of the best rosé tteokbokki my gf and I have ever had. The sauce reminded me of butter chicken but had the consistency of pasta sauce?! So it felt like I was eating a really hearty pasta. There was just so much umami in that tteokbokki.I've tried the secret sauced (yangnyeom basically), golden fried, gangnam style and galbi Q. They all taste phenomenal. What's also unique is that boneless here is not popcorn chicken style like Home of Hot Taste, My-My or Mr. Chimaek. Boneless here means large chicken chunks that have been deboned. So that was interesting. I might actually prefer boneless here over bone-in now that I think about it. Tough call. All they're missing on the menu is literally padak flavor (green onion on top with honey mustard sauce).Nevertheless, for korean fried chicken this place leaps right into my top tier alongside Mr. Chimaek, My-My and Home of Hot Taste. It might just leapfrog Home of Hot Taste (if you're just judging fried chicken) tbh.I'll definitely come back to go through the other unique flavors on their menu (gangjeong and cheesling I'm looking at you guys).”
“Definitely a great place to eat. The oysters were great, the food fantastic, and service spot on. Would absolutely come back. ONLY thing to note is that it is a bit on the pricier side.”

Carmelina
“Stopped into Carmelina for an early dinner after just flying into the area. The staff were nice and efficient. The food was excellent, I enjoyed the lamb very much and was most impressed. I can happily recommend Carmelina for a great meal.”
“Came on a Saturday night with my family. Our server was quick, attentive and very helpful. I had their spicy wings with a side of some very tasty homestyle fries. I also tried a bite of the steak sandwich, and really enjoyed that as well. My family also all enjoyed their meals. Overall a very good experience, and definitely will be coming back!”

Red Lobster
“We were a large group and had the opportunity to be taken care of by Darren. Absolutely the most wonderful table service and manners we have ever encountered. World class service and immaculate attention to detail. The food was good but the service and attention we received was out of the world. Thank you Darren!”
“In our opinion this restaurant is a hidden gem of Markham. We love Greek food and this family-oriented, no-frills place has excellent dishes: the Greek salad is crisp, tasty and perfectly balanced, the pork souvlaki is moist and great tasting; also not to miss are the saganaki, the spanakopita and the baklava.Service is also great, our waitress is always friendly and provides prompt and professional service making it a real pleasure to dine here.Highly recommended.”
“Tony was giving great suggestions on menu. His sincerely explained on the various choices of customers’ preference! His explanation is very genuine and helpful. My first time tasted the fried king mushroom: it was crunchy, yummy, not too heavy, not oily, simple and delicious. My son loves spicy, they have their house sauce which my son loves the most is for the chicken karaage! I wish I can taste the lobster ramen special for north York location; which was created by chef Yamamoto!!!! I am looking forward for it”

Cafe Mozaiko
“Great food for great price at a very cute family run cafe. The service was very warm and friendly, and the theme and decor was very fun! The Shiganshina District Aburi platter was a standout favourite for my wife and I.Highly recommended! We will definitely be back again!”
“Probably the best takeout sushi I’ve had before. The cuts and presentation are spot on. I can tell the fish grade is high and was selected carefully. It’s not by random that the fish are this fresh.Highly recommended ?”
“We had a great time, the food and service was amazing! The environment comfortable and elegant. Big up to Mya who took the time to get to know us better. We had stewed oxtail, sorrel salmon with mac pie and curried pineapple. We will be back!Vegetarian options: There are lot of vegetarian and vegan options and the kitchen is agreeable to substitutes”
“The only BBQ place that we go in Markham, food tastes good, service is also good and fast, also fit the budget.Parking: Lots of parking in the back.Kid-friendliness: Offer highchair”
“The quality of Chew Tong Tian’s food never disappoints me, and the service attitude makes me feel more friendly. Whether it’s the fish noodle soup or curry chicken rice for lunch, or the lamb belly pot or stuffed glutinous rice chicken for dinner, it’s always good. The steamed and baked fish sausage that brought back my childhood memories was really not good enough. I also looked at a restaurant and saw whether it was serious about running it. The restroom is an important indicator. In eight of the ten restaurants, I was yelled at and couldn't hold back my anger when I entered. You can leave as soon as you think about it, but the clean management is worthy of praise again and again.”

Mi-Ne Sushi
“Sushi here was amazing, no bout. My go to japanese Restaurant. I had started eating here since I was young, and grew up eating sushi at this restaurant. This place knocks out all other competitors with ease. Their service is fast, their washrooms are clean, and most importantly, their food is absolultly mind blowing. Please give it a try.”
“We recently dined at Costa Sorrento for my father’s 60th birthday and all I have to say is wow!! Such a delightful experience that brought us right back to the heart of Italy with every bite. From the moment I walked in, the warm inviting vibe and the smell of the amazing cuisine set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The menu was unbelievable. Authentic Italian flavors that offered a variety of dishes that cater to every palate. The handmade pasta, especially the truffle fettuccine and the pizzas with their crispy crusts and flavorful toppings were standout dishes. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the cuisine added a personal touch to the meal, making Costa Sorrento not just a meal, but a culinary journey to Italy. Domi and Nino, thank you for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Costa Sorrento for anyone craving an authentic Italian dining experience!”
“The best sushi takeout spot in Markham hands down. The fish is incredibly fresh and the ingredients are very high quality. We've ordered from them twice now, and both times the estimated pickup time has been spot on.Parking: Lots of parking spaces.”
“Great authentic Taiwanese food. Good service. My favorite is the 大腸 and the 豬腳。They also have combo meals for 2,3,4 persons - somthing like a tasting menu - good deal.”
“Dropped by for lunch during the weekend where we ordered the following: Mushroom Croquetas, Grilled Pulpo, Endive & Radicchio Salad andPaella de Tapagría. While a tad on the expensive side, everything was really delicious with welcoming service. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.”

Swiss Chalet
“Always full, must book table before goingDim Sums are yummy.BBQ Pork with noodles was extremely DeciousMust order, only $15 , can be shared by 4 persons. Shrimp dumping is good.Service is fast, just one thing is because so many persons standing outside for waiting a table, may be u cannot sit and chat too longWith your friends when dining in the weekend.”
“The food is amazing and it's so delicious. It's a step up from the traditional dishes. The portion is great but the price is quite high. Get their membership if you plan to spent more than $200 in 2 years. I went there twice and now I regret not getting their membership.”

Swiss Chalet
“A good Swiss Chalet. Nice environment. Clean. Prompt, pleasant and courteous service from server Jessica. Chicken can occasionally be dry but very good value with 2 can dine for $20.99. East parking. Would recommend if wanting Swiss Chalet.”
“Same feedback from Tenon location downtown. They have a really extended menu, so many V, VG option (wish they had more gluten free options though).Overall food is good, I’ll probably be back to try more.”
“i know there's two different pho restaurants, one own by chinese, the other own by real vietnamese, for the chinese, their pho is cheaper, bigger portion and more meat, but only have hot and sweet sauce on the table. for the real vietnamese, their pho is more expensive, smaller portion but they use better cut meat and they have slice garlic, hot pepper and sour white radish on the table also, the choice is yours. this one i believe own by the first group.Parking: Very limited street level parking, unless park under ground”

Cafe N One
“What a nice hidden gem! The food is always delicious. I usually go in the evening for a meal. It was my first time going for brunch. I suggest going super early as it is a tiny place. Parking can be scarce. The staff are so friendly. The prices are reasonable. It will always be my go to place.”

“First time ever having Peruvian food! Fresh tilapia fish, sirloin beef sautéed, pollo a la Brasa…. Yum! And the most impressive dish is the Peruvian ice-cream! Should definitely try their coffee next time.”
“Very good food with relatively low price as compared to other place. They provide not a lot of choice but good enough to serve customers. Especially like their breakfast and their rice combination with 2 meat/fish. One little drawback for steak is that some times, it is so hard to chew and not cooked well enough so that we see blood come out.”
“Baski is the best server to have, he is smart and Intelligent which really surprised me! He could even tell you the day you were born. He should be promoted to a manager. I enjoyed my experience because of him. 10/10”
“We started going to this restaurant since covid-19. Honestly there were a lot of choices in Markham, and Ikon was not the only sushi restaurant we ordered our food. But things have changed because we can hardly find better restaurant in Markham. There are restaurants that focus on lots of menu choices, some name their food with unheard titles, and some raise their prices to make you feel theirs are imaginative "premium". But Ikon comes in simple packages. They give you the max quality of food in simple menu and shockingly reasonable price. The chefs and the owner (tall woman) always dress in clean and simple outfits, and then greet you with a warming tone as if you were a good friend. As a bonus, take-out orders come with a Japanese soft clothes to carry your food. The whole package is simple and beautiful. Thr portion is bigger than many places. Sadly not many restaurants are like this. Disclaimer: I don't own any restaurant. I do not know any of the staff members and the owners. Japanese food is our family's preferred cuisine.”

Kara Mia
“I came a couple weeks ago to kara mia and least to say it was a wonderful experience I was delighted to have Awaes as my waiter he was very accommodating and respectful. I ordered a medium rare stake with chicken saffron. It was very delicious I had a wonderful time eating here.”

Tora Sushi
“I was surprised, by how good the sushi I ordered tasted. Surprised because theire shop is so unassuming. Great find, it only took me three years, to find it, since moving into the neighborhood.”
“The service was pretty great, as they were friendly, the place has a really cool setup, they didn’t take too long making the food, and the food and drink were delicious!”
“This gem of a restaurant is hidden in a tiny strip mall, however, the interiors are so gorgeous! For starters, we had the miso soup, vegetable gyoza, shrimp tempura along with Okinomiyaki and chicken Karagae and it was so delicious ? Since we were a party of 6, we felt it was good to order the Party Tray of RC3 62 pieces and truly loved the various sushi assortments ❤️❤️ Would highly recommend this venue as it is a perfect restaurant to bring family and friends ?”

“first visit: march 23, 2024went with friends for dinner, we had reserved a table for 20 around 11am today. if you plan to go on a weekend, better reserve while early cause this place/branch is packed! we were seated within minutes of reservation time (630pm), and staff CHERRY was very accommodating. we were a group of 16 with some kids -apparently i over-ordered, but we had them to go anyway, so no food wasted.fast service considering how busy it was.. i can't stress enough how wonderful the staff are.. I'm calling out the owner: these people are very good! just saying! food is awesome! we had a good spot, and price is reasonable! parking a little difficult during dinner time, but lots of parking, so just be patient!they ran out of bbq pork, so our server recommended something and saved some for us by ordering it ahead. this place is highly recommended!”
“Ayce Hotspot with good quality ingredients and meats. A little gem in the heart of Markham. Decor and design of restaurants makes you feel in a different part of the world. Must try!”
“A nice little cafe/brunch spot with boardgames and puzzles. Ambiance and decor is nice. Washrooms are clean.Restaurant has a variety of options for brunch.Food and drink was hit and miss with our order. The hits for us was the mango and oreo waffles that were fluffy and crisp with great toppings, chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and lattes were smooth. The miss for us was the pulled beef Benedict. It wasn't balanced, though the poached egg was perfect. Same for the smoked salmon. There was an element that it was missing.Service was okay, we sat quickly without a reservation but servers seemed very new.Nonetheless, a great restaurant and would come back.”

“Best service. Mandy the owner is so friendly. The Benedict is great. The Braised Pork Knuckle/hock is well cooked. French onion soup is great. I strongly recommend this restaurant.”
“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.”
“The price is ok, 4 people order 7 kinds of wild food, about 23 yuan per person. If there is a cash discount from Monday to Friday, the chicken feet seem to be too steamed to withstand it. I recommend the roasted goose!”
“While doing my research on making my own wine, I stumbled upon this avenue that I had no idea existed. It doesn't get any more turn key than this. Very helpful and pleasant owner. Great selection of varieties to choose from at an amazing value. I was a little anxious about the bottling process, but they weren't lying when they said waiting is the hardest part. Due to their equipment and set up, but mainly their concise instructions, I was in and out in less than 45min my first time...It will not be the last.”
“Tomato soup is delicious. Meats are fresh. Ambience design feels like you’re in 1980’s China. Love it. Customer service is excellent!! They close late around 4am. Prices are cheaper than other Hot Pot places.”
“Authentic Japanese izakaya in uptown. Skewers were perfectly grilled with top graded Bincho charcoal and all dishes were well served. The seasonal special dish, Shirako Ponzu, was a surprise to me!!! I feel hungry now upon posting this. Bon appetite!”
“BBQ eel (unagi) rolls tasted pretty good and the prices were quite nice. Pieces were a bit small though and the wasabi was noticeably thin in consistency which wasn’t very pleasant. The staff were great, food arrived on time and everything was otherwise worth it!”
“Keshav is the best person and take such good care of everyone I am so appreciative of him and his hard work. And Experience was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised that everything came out hot, fresh, and made to order and server was good.”
“Great Service from servers~ food are very good too. Especially their curry beef brisket, mussels with garlic with white sauce, and steaks are definitely in high quality. If they can run breakfast and late supper would be awesome.”
“It's located in the food court in world on Yonge. So it's on the 2nd level. The food is great and you will see a lot of ppl always lining up to get their stuff. Also having the remote buzzers just shows how much customers they get. Can't grade them on service and ambiance since it's food court. But staff is nice and friendly. The food is great and freshly made. We got fried udon and also tofu soup. Both were great and the tofu was spicy. If u can't take spice make sure to tell them mild. Would come again.”
“It was our first time coming to the restaurant, as well as the golf club in general. We had a reservation for 530pm but we arrived early. The host was able to accommodate us and brought us to the table immediately. The space of the restaurant wasn't as big as I imagined, with only 12 tables - 4 seaters. However, they had combined a few tables to transform to long tables in order to accommodate 2 big parties. Perhaps it was the holiday season, we weren't given any water or acknowledgments 30 minutes after we were seated. Given that we had ample time to study the menu, we knew what we wanted for the night - their winter set menus. Initially, the reason for the visit was that we won their contest on Instagram for dinner of 2 on their set menu B, however, we asked if we could upgrade to the menu C and pay the difference, which, they were able to accommodate our request. Their set menu each comes with a choice of appetizer, a main course, a dessert, a non-alcoholic beverage, AND coffee/ tea. The pan seared atlantic salmon was definitely a winner! Crispy on the skin, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with it being juicy and tender and very silky-smooth. The striploin was cooked just the way we asked - medium rare. The red velvet cake was a nice touch to finish off our evening, but the cream cheese frosting was a little bit sweet to our liking. Other than that, the cake itself was soft and moist. The price of the set menu is tax and tips included, which is very budget friendly with the amount and level of food you get.”
“No jusgements. Kind and owners seem like they have a steady business going. Good music. I hear its good dor date night but wouls i know. I like the abstracts. Cheap canvas. Free everything else. Could spend all my time there if i spent the 5 on holding the canvas Markhams staff are also very cultured. Im not. Im a ablank canvas. Which ryhmes with light”
“What a wonderful experience with delicious foods. It was a buffet and variety of foods. I loved the oyster and desserts. Probably their sushi wasn’t the best but in general, I do recommend it.”
“The food was great. Very delicious. Service was quick. Kiran our waitress did an excellent job. She introduced herself and kept us posted on the status of our order. Overall I will give this place 5 stars. We will be back again.”

“Fresh quality and large cuts of sashimi. We ordered 2 large combo boats sushi, sashimi, and rolls, and 1 extra large boat sashimi and side dishes for 13 people...all were delicious. Well worth the price for what we got. Our group of 13 are big eaters, and we were stuffed. It was out first time there and didn't know how much food each large boat order was, and we ordered more than enough. There were lineups even after 1:30pm for lunch. Recommend you reserve before you go.”
“Came to this place for the first time but was doubtful because of the reviews but decided to try it with a friend. We ordered the Peking duck, Stir Beef w/ green onion & ginger and Cantonese Chow Mein. It was very tasty and definitely did not disappoint. Good portions so there will some to take home. The staff was wonderful and very nice.Markham is a good place to find food!”
“I was in the area and craving pho, we found this restaurant across from FMP. The pho was really tasty and they gave us big portions! The fresh spring rolls were really yummy too! I will definitely come back again when I'm in Markham. FYI, there's no menu, you have to order by QR code, and if you pay cash it's 10% off.”
“Novita hosted our holiday office party, with late notice and 27 guests they offered a wonderful menu. The food just kept coming and was absolutely delicious. Staff were super friendly and extremely accommodating. Was an excellent experience and can’t wait to go back.”
“I came in this evening to pick up dinner! The Duchess, their amazing staff & the delicious food they make are always top-notch! The Duchess never disappoints in any way! I'm looking forward to the nicer weather to enjoy her beautiful patio!”
“Enjoyed the Korean short ribs and a drink. This is a great atmosphere to either meet friends or get work done. I was able to get a lot of work done. It's my new favourite Work social spot.”
“Finally came around to trying this place on a saturday evening. The parking lot was absolutely stuffed and I had to circle at least 10 times before lucking out w/ a spot. The resto itself is big and fits a lot of customers. We were sat right next to the entrance (which was chilly at first because of the entrance opening and closing constantly, but once we started eating and sweating, the wind actually helped out a bit). The service is pretty no frills. You write your order on a paper and a server will just take it.The dumplings were good! I think I actually liked the pan fried/crispy dumplings over the boiled ones more (if I had to pick). They were juicier. This place also does an excellent beef pancake. I've been to so many places where the pancake is stale and the beef tough, but this place nailed it (perfect amount of hoisin sauce inside too).If I'm craving dumplings, I'll be back here for sure!P.S. The beef noodle soup from the menu picture is calling out to me. I might try that next time.”
“I took my gf here on saturday to celebrate her bday. When I was doing research, I found out that this was one of the only restaurants in the GTA serving tableside pasta in the cheese wheel.Calling in to the restaurant, I had been told that the chef usually does the cheese wheel pasta on saturday night so you can imagine my immense disappointment when I found out upon asking, that the chef was actually out of town on THIS particular saturday night when I wanted my gf to experience something special.Anyways, we were sat right away upon arrival and the servers hung our coats on hooks near the entrance (within visual range). We never actually got a designated server (idk if the hostess forgot about us or not) but throughout the night we took it upon ourselves to flag down a very young gentleman named Jordan who provided great service to us throughout the night.Seafood platter for 2: This was actually a lot of food. I was skeptical when we ordered it but it came with a ton of seafood which justified the near $40 price. The seafood was also cooked well. Everything was so tender. The calamari rings in particular. And the battering was light and crispy. We also really liked the fresh citrus dip on the side that the platter came with. Dipping the seafood really helped to cut back on the richness of the batter.Ravioli de maddalena: So this dish was actually a lil disappointing. It was supposed to be the signature pasta of the resto but aside from the nice flavour of the veal (which my gf didn't particularly enjoy either since she said it tasted like lamb), the pasta was too thick and the simple butter sauce didn't coat the noodles well enough.Fettuccine carbonara: We both unanimously agreed that my dish tasted superior. The sauce clung to the noodles way better. It was more rich and full bodied. The noodles were actually al dente and had better chew. The egg yolk on top was a nice added touch.Tiramisu: WOW. This dessert was a showstopper for sure. Most legit italian restos will have a really delicious, homemade tiramisu and this place was no exception. It was just as good as the tiramisu we had at Il Postino on Main St Unionville. Absolutely sublime.Would come back but only if I knew the chef was in the house that night making the tableside cheese wheel pasta!”
“I recently dined at this remarkable restaurant, and the experience was amazing. The menu showcased a delightful array of dishes, each bursting with a combination of flavours. From the first bite to the last, my taste buds were treated to a combination of tastes that left me craving more. The staff's attentiveness, well I should say Honey’s and her passion for food was evident, making the entire dining experience sweet, just like her! Not to forget Megha as well!”
“Unexpectedly good western/Hong Kong style fusion restaurant inside a hotel. The mustard flavor pork chop was huge but tender and juicy. Came with your choice of appetizer (soup - both clam chowder and lobster bisque were good or salad - Ceasar and smoked salmon were fresh and not soggy) and carb choices (rice, pasta, fries etc). All shrimps that accompanied main course were not overcooked or fishy. Grilled chicken was crispy and juicy. Everything came really hot which is a bonus in my books. Meal ended with good variety of hot and cold drinks. Whole party of 9 all stuffed and happy with their choices. Service exceptional like that of a 5 stars hotel. Would definitely come again.Parking: Shared hotel parking lot”

“Best apple pie I've had in the GTA. Also excellent: scones, danishes, muffins, strawberry rhubarb pie, beef pie, cookies, blueberry pancakes. This is a preliminary list as I've not had a chance to try other things on their menu - but I have good reason to believe that most of their other products are also amazingly delicious and reasonably priced. Please everybody come visit this local gem.”
“I came a couple weeks ago to kara mia and least to say it was a wonderful experience I was delighted to have Awaes as my waiter he was very accommodating and respectful. I ordered a medium rare stake with chicken saffron. It was very delicious I had a wonderful time eating here.”
“Big kudos to our waitress Katie. The restaurant was busy and under staffed as we went on Thanksgiving Day. She was handling table orders, take out orders, greeting guests and directing them to their table, pouring draft beer, and bussing the tables as well. She did not even write down our order for three people and yet she delivered it exactly as ordered to each person, even including extra plates for shared items. She even managed to check in on us regularly in spite of the fact that she had to cover several multiple person tables including a couple of large groups. Food was good but the service was outstanding, especially under the circumstances.”
“We had a very nice time at this Swiss chalet location. Our server Valerie was very nice to our little one and the service was very good even though it was very busy. We plan to come back!”

“Love all Italian desserts ,eclairs, cakes, ricotta canoli, cookies, baklava and Gelato icecream. Variety of lasagna and other frozen and fresh pasta etc items. Tasty, fresh and very reasonably priced compared to other different bakeries. Only take out and no dine in.”
“We were a large group and had the opportunity to be taken care of by Darren. Absolutely the most wonderful table service and manners we have ever encountered. World class service and immaculate attention to detail. The food was good but the service and attention we received was out of the world. Thank you Darren!”
“I've been going here for more than a year now since my kids love their Shanghai beef noodles. The food here is great value for the money. These days it's just impossible to find a meal for $10. The servings have a lot of quantity and the noodles are above average. The beef brisket noodle soup is quite tasty, although the beef can be fatty at times - but it melts in your mouth. The owner lady running the place is really nice and knows exactly what I want to order. I highly recommend this restaurant.”
“I love coming to hai di lao.Making a reservation is easy and servers are generally great. Eva especially today was accommodating in providing pillows for my back since I’m pregnant and any need we needed. Thank you Eva!”
“There are so many boba shops in pmall that I get so overwhelmed and end up just getting it from a brand that I know, BUT I am so glad I tried this place after it was recommended to me. The tapioca is hand-made and it's SO DELICIOUS!I got the milk tea with mango tapioca (half sweet and no ice), and although I didn't really taste much mango, the tapioca was SO GOOD and chewy. I don't know if I can explain it well, but compared to some other tapioca places with the black tapioca, it's more of a softer chew. The milk tea was also very refreshing! Not too thick, not too watery, and still nice and cold without the ice. :)I went around 11:30am and had wanted to try the rainbow tapioca milk tea, but they only had mango tapioca at the time. I hope I can try it next time. This might be my go-to boba shop in pmall from now on! Even if I have to pay a little more than other places.”
“Nice takeout sushi shop! The sushi is good and reasonably price ($40 for 40 pcs of assorted sashimi and sushi tray). I recommend getting a side of takoyaki as well - they are very generous with the octopus filling!”

“Not many dimsum choices as focus is on the lobster. Did not disappoint! Every dish felt special with a twist, very fresh ingredients. Service is slow, but the yummy food makes up for it.”

“The restaurant looks bright, clean and welcoming inside. The tables are fairly close together, not a lot of room to walk around. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. The food was all nicely prepared and generously portioned. There are quite a few set meals to choose from for different size groups. Lots of parking available. Will be back!”
“We went into this location after 10:30pm to get a late night dinner. Tuesday special was beef shawarma on the rocks. Good daily deals! The Dish was well presented and also had the option of getting the sauces on the side . Food was good as usual. Customer service was good they were friendly.I really liked the Coca Cola garbage container ? it looked pretty cool! It’s a nice location to visit! Would highly recommend.”
“The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Definitely recommend coming here!Kid-friendliness: Was very kind in helping me and assisting me with different options with customer service.”
“It's one of my favorite spots. Ordered 2 large bombers today. Got it hot and fresh. The taste was phenomenal. Whenever i visit in person, the staff provides a really good customer experience with recommendations and polite treatment. Must visit.”
“Western toast is delicious! Wondering if anyone can buy the syrup they use?Unfortunately, the second time I ordered iced milk tea, the tea was obviously overcooked. The first time I ordered two cups, nothing happened.”
“Celebrated a birthday here, was really good, 6 people and zero complaints. Staff was on point and super friendly, food was fantastic. I think perfectly done could be on their menu. Definitely will go back.”
“We hit up the KAKA spot up in Markham and the experience was great. The food tasted great and if your someone who loves sweets, try out their desserts (comes in shot glasses). However, I do question their odd portions though but overall it's a great all you can eat sushi spot and I give it a solid 4/5 stars.”
