great experience
Really nice place, owner was very friendly, food was fantastic. Had the home burger and Greek fries and they were both fantastic.
This is definetly one of the rare places where the owner Gus and his family treat customers like royalty. The food at this estbalishment speaks for itself, fresh, vibrant, colorful and delicious. While prices are slightly higher than comprable spots, the statement you get what you pay for holds true at this establishment. Based on the reviews, John Anderson Hamburgers serves excellent homemade food, including a 7 1/2 Oz cheeseburger with bacon and a mountain of fries. The Home burger is described as supa sumptuous. Besides burgers, souvlaki dinners are great with really good salad, flavorful rice and potatoes, and good tzatziki and meat. The Greek Salad Dressing is super delicious. The ambiance is perfect for the joint, and the owners provide a very homely atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they really care about the food. This place is one of the best burgers in the city and the best in Markham and around.
