I had a craving for a homemade burger. I ordered the home banquet burger. DELICIOUS! The patty was a very good size with a nice char. Bacon was crispy too. The burger was tasty, not dry at all but not greasy like some places. Ill be going back to try the souvlaki and sausage on a bun.
Definitely worth stopping here!
The best burger joint in town! The service here is great and very old school vibe. The food is fresh and the hamburgers are made right in front of you. You can’t get anything better than this.

Based on the reviews, John Anderson Hamburgers serves excellent homemade food, including a 7 1/2 Oz cheeseburger with bacon and a mountain of fries. The Home burger is described as supa sumptuous. Besides burgers, souvlaki dinners are great with really good salad, flavorful rice and potatoes, and good tzatziki and meat. The Greek Salad Dressing is super delicious. The ambiance is perfect for the joint, and the owners provide a very homely atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they really care about the food. This place is one of the best burgers in the city and the best in Markham and around.
