“Went here for the first time and got the Maple Leaf Burger, Blue Jays Burger, classic poutine, regular poutine, and Twister fries. I can’t explain how delicious the food was — everything was amazing.
The service from both the owner and the servers was excellent as well. They came by to check on us and made sure everything was good throughout our visit.
Will definitely be coming back and spreading the word to family and friends.

“Visiting from Edmonton for the first time. The attendant was courteous and took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations for each of us. The burgers and poutine were outstanding—genuinely delicious. Service was fast, efficient, and on point. Highly recommend.“

“This is definetly one of the rare places where the owner Gus and his family treat customers like royalty. The food at this estbalishment speaks for itself, fresh, vibrant, colorful and delicious. While prices are slightly higher than comprable spots, the statement you get what you pay for holds true at this establishment. Corporate and Franchise restaurants do not offer the food and service they do here at this wonderful family run establishment. If your a burger lover, the home Banquet burger is a must try here with their amazing selection of fresh and brand name toppings. Gus and his family have roots planted back to the original John Anderson burger location aprox 47 years in Pleasantview. It's not a coincidence they have been in business for so long.“

“We were just there and in terms of cleanliness, the food preparation and cashier area was relatively clean. However, there was still a bit of grime and stickiness on the tables we ate on. The food was grilled to perfection but I hope Harvey considers reducing the salt content as the burgers as it was too salty.“

Environment is delight and the staff are absolutely wonderful, staff such as dear Lou ( I hope I’m saying it correctly ) bring joy and cheerful vibes especially after a stressful day working.

“Phenomenal Bacon Double Cheeseburger. Blows away the other “Gourmet” burger joints, with the exception being The Burger’s Priest, it’s close....but WTH, I’ll give it to Five Guys. I really enjoyed my burger. Full flavoured, fresh bun, no preformed frozen pattie, just a great hamburger. Loved it!“

“One of the best service I have gotten at this location ( Markville). I went there on Friday during lunch and I ordered a mozza burger combo it was made excellent. The customer service I got from there was top notch and the people at the counter were really friendly and nice. I got my order in just 2 minutes. Highly recommended“

“This classic chicken sandwich changed a rough day of competition into this beautiful symphony of sauce, bread and chicken. When I ventured towards the location I saw the golden glow of the sign displaying the greatest chicken shop of all time. I’m usually never satisfied by food but this is one of few places that I walked out feeling more than satisfied, best part of all is the chicken was full of juice yet not greasy feeling at all. I genuinely felt good after eating this.“

“Haven't been here a while and decided to come back today. Always a staple in Markham and showed her my child hood place. It was a good evening. I ordered the usual Pandoras Box and she order the Garlic Parm. Another beautiful night. Always one of my go to places near Markham. I always go and get me some Pandora Box Wings and a Poutine. Overall I like the wings and the flavor and the poutine is one of the good ones. The Customer service is always great.“
