“Big M had great burgers and onion rings I went there lots of times the restaurant has been here for like more than 20 years and it's great in summer when you walk on the beach then go grab some food they have a good ice cream shop by the beach too!“

“So i found this place heading to subway in the plaza and decided. Beautiful dining area so bright i kinda want to try that. The other was working and explained they had 2 stores and used 8oz patties and fresh fries and i mean really treated me like gold! I ordered a crispy chicken poutine and a hawian burger only a mistake because the poutine was more then enough for a meal on its own. The burger was prepared picture perfect and i did take one. The poutine was nice crispy fries chicken so fine cut strips it was all soo good ! And the menu options some stuff i hadn’t heard if but they have mutton fries and chicken options as well as veggie and beyond meat i strongly recommend any of my burger loving freinds reading this give them a try you wont be disappointed. Dont shy at the prices you get your moneys worth no question! Its one of my top 3 meals hands down. Would recommend and will be by again even though i live 3 hours away😂“

“Recently went to this Jack’s location with my kids and some friends. They were very accepting with some seat shuffling at our request. Moreover, our server Emily was great! She was very pleasant and friendly and attentive, without asking she insured our waters and soft drinks were refilled, and she made great recommendations to food and drink choices as we ordered our dinner. Would recommend if you’re looking for decent pub style, relaxed dining for the family or with people to take in a game.“

“Tried The Works in Pickering recently.
The restaurant was clean and the service was good, although the food took a little while to arrive. The burgers were fresh with good toppings and everything tasted good overall.
For 3 people, the bill came to about $90 without drinks — we only had free water — so it felt a bit expensive for burgers and sides. Still, the quality was solid and the portions were okay.
The total price includes $8 tip and taxes.
Signs did indicate lunch specials.

“I love coming to state & main, food and drink and atmosphere are always great. However ,on April 19th, I came for lunch with 2 others and the service we recieved was quite lack luster- which surprised me as it's typically top notch. The gentleman serving us seemed like he would rather be anywhere else. The dining room was not in any way busy so I'm not sure why it took so long between ordering drinks, food, and a quality check. We attempted to make some chit chat with him as it seemed like perhaps he was having a tough day and he was not at all receptive. While I will always come back for future visits, I look forward to a better experience from a different staff member.“
