“Today I visited Mary Brown’s and had a great experience. The food was fresh, hot, and really tasty, especially the chicken and taters. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was quick even though it was a bit busy. The place was clean and well-maintained, which made the overall experience even better. “Been a while since we had Subway and decided to take a gamble. First time at this location and family was shocked by the quality of the sandwich. They were handcrafted like the subs on the ads. Looked and tasted amazing. There’s a reason why it’s taken us so long to go back to a Subway. The quality has been going downhill in general and that’s the case for most locations. This one is definitely a Unicorn location. We were so impressed that our daughter wanted Subway the following day. Unfortunately we went to a different location due to our schedule and the subs were not very good. That’s a seperate review.“

“I was wandering around the food court at the mall in Pickering, looking for something to eat. Edo Japan caught my attention so I tried their Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and it was really good, better than I expected! It was freshly cooked to order and had really nice flavours with generous portions. The bento box meal also included California rolls, gyoza, and a drink. Great deal, good food! I'll be back!“

“I have to give a huge shoutout to Dave at the Pickering Pizza Hut. He was absolutely fantastic.

I came in not really knowing what I wanted, and Dave was so patient and helpful. He made recommendations and even suggested some add-ons and specials, but what I really appreciated was that it never felt like he was trying to push a sale. It genuinely felt like he was trying to help me figure out what I would actually like. He really went above and beyond!

He has such a great attitude and is just really pleasant to deal with. He took the time to explain the different specials, including the ones available online, and was happy to walk me through everything. He was smiling, enthusiastic, and just genuinely seemed happy to be helping.

Even though I am closer to the Bowmanville location, the Pickering location has always been a consistently better experience!

“Yesterday was my very first time trying Chick N Joy. I decided to order home delivery. I have to say I'm surprised of the portion sizes, I wasn't expecting it to be so much. I like that the meals are priced right for the portion. I really enjoyed the golden crispy fries, and also the macaroni salad. I didn't enjoy the Homemade Butter Biscuit, it felt more like bread that was steamed, but otherwise tasted okay. I was looking for more of a tea biscuit texture. The chicken skin was very salty, but the chicken was ok (for the white meat), but as for the dark meat I didn't really enjoy it as if felt a little bit under cooked.“
