5 Best Mexican Restaurants near Pickering

“I don't compare Ceilito Lindo to other Mexican places. I compare it to the best of other kinds of restaurants. Not just the best Mexican food. The best food period. This is better than burgers or sandwiches.

The restaurant is very simple and in a plaza with other take outs. And this plaza has very good choices as well.

I prefer going mid week. It's quieter. On the weekends it's still very fast service. The quality and quantity the small number of staff punch out of thier tiny kitchen really speaks to their talent and love for cooking.

Most plates come with beans, salad and rice. Simple but really good. Ceilito Lindo do one thing really really well. So it's chicken, beef, shrimp or steak in a burrito, enchilada or chimichanga.

I am currently working my way through their menu. All killer no filler.

The chicken molle gets good reviews. It's a dish not seen in many places. It is excellent.“

“Excellent place to grab a snack or a full meal. Prices are fair and service is fast. There salsas taste excellent. I tried all 3. Even the spicy wasn’t too spicy. Guac is also very tasty. Their chips are warm and fresh. The snack menu is great. Enjoyed everything we had!“

“We made it back to extreme burrito after a busy 3 months. We wanted something that was healthy and great tasting and they didn’t disappoint. The people are so friendly and the place is very clean. The food is so fresh and tastes great. And the lunch specials are a really good price. They have the specials on 7 days a week and for 4 hours each day. It is definitely a wonderful place for a meal whether it be lunch or dinner. I would give this place a 5 out of 5“
