“Amazing food and amazing service. Our waitress knew the menu so we’ll that she was able to talk us into dishes we normally wouldn’t order. Margaritas were amazing (not on menu but it is a Mexican restaurant). The ceviche was so good we ordered a second one. I never order pork at restaurants and rarely eat it - but it was amazing. Side salad was so flavorful and the desserts were fantastic. They just earned a Michelin star and I can see why!!“

The unique menu leaves you flabbergasted, wondering if these delectable dishes can be so immaculately curated created to bring out the right flavour. They are all vegan and gluten-free to escalate your experience. Their guacamole and chocolate cake are once in a lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it if you are one for a scrumptiously tasting, not too decadently sweet chocolate cake. It’s worth a try, absolutely!!! A place to go to for a special occasion and to celebrate something special. It’s terrific:) leaves you craving for more and longing to visit again soon.“

“My rating: 9.5/10. This is one of the best two tacos I’ve had in Toronto. Food was amazing, super fresh, great ingredients, and very authentic. The prices were a little high though at $7.50 for a single taco, so despite the great quality that made it a 9.5 instead of a 9.6 for me. Atmosphere was fun and casual, but they only have standing counter “seats”, no chairs or places to sit down. Staff were very friendly and easy going. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would go back, but there are one or two small things that could be slightly better. Would recommend trying it at least once though.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options. This would not be on my list of recommendations for a vegetarian meal.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate dietary restrictions, but the menu is fairly short and the key dish is tacos, so if there is anything crucial to a taco that you are allergic to, I would not advise going.Kid-friendliness: The place itself is kid friendly, but the only “seating” is counter top tables you have to stand at, which would most likely be to tall for any kid 10 and under, so they would have to hold their dish while they eat.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a wheelchair storefront, but as mentioned above, the “seating” consists of counter top tables that you stand at, which would definitely be too tall for someone in a wheelchair, so they wouldn’t have a table to eat on.“

“Tacos Moras has given me a new attitude towards burritos. I’m more of a taco guy and for years, so many places loading their burritos with bland rice, & mediocre protein just turned me off of them. But my wife and I were craving a burrito and so we had the Carnitas and Chicken burrito and oh man, they were perfection. I think that says something coming from a guy that has avoided them for so long. The portion and quality is great for the price in my opinion. The tortilla was perfectly tender and the fillings all had such a complimentary texture. The right amount of seasoning, cheese and zesty flavours made every bite better than the next. We got a side of birria consommé, for the burritos and hoo boy, was it the perfect added flavour bomb.We also tried a pastor and baja fish taco and they were great as well. To cap it off, we got the churros, which are filled with a dark, melted chocolate and they arrived perfectly warm and crispy. So satisfied with everything and we will for sure be coming back, and we’re so stoked to finally have some great Mexican food in this part of the east end.“

“Lots of hype around this place and it’s certainly warranted. Usually quite a long wait time to get in so we had to go a little earlier on a Friday. The set up inside is unique as there is only stool seating along two U shaped tables and along the windows. Wasn’t sure how I would feel about that, but it works fine if you’re a couple.Food was superb - some of the best tacos you can get in the city. The Quesabirria Con Consome seems to be what they are best known for, and it’s an absolute must. We also got the shrimp aguachile + leguna and pollo tacos. To be honest its more filling than you’d think so we had to take some home. No complaints with anything however, great little spot and we will definitely be coming back to check it out in the summer!“

“Honestly one of my favourite places to go for tacos. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. The space is very electric and cool. The only downside is that it gets very busy and very loud since the place is so small so if you want to eat here on the weekend or most nights you may want to book a reservation especially if you are a group of more than two people. They do have a cute patio in the summer (but lucky us Canadians, we only get to enjoy it for a few months). But all in all I recommend this place to everyone!“

“I am a big time food explorer so decided to visit this place after checking remarkable google reviews. I must say they met my expectations really well. The food looked fresh, delicious to taste and appealing to the eyes. Worth mentioning the restaurant is super clean, hygienic and very well maintained (specially washroom which usually is in miserable condition in most of the fast food places). I was served by the restaurant manager itself and I really appreciate she took time to explain to the curious me. I was awestruck that the great customer service still exists. She explained it really well how they produce food in house. The way they use freshest ingredients to produce their salsas and sauces literally forced me to try some menu items when I was already full. Their in house preparation of guacamole with fresh avocados and their chipotle crema were great hit. She went beyond by choosing just onions from veggies when I casually told her I don’t like peppers, also took an extra effort to replace cilantro rice with the simple rice as I don’t like cilantro too. The kind of customer service they offer is impeccable, so friendly and helpful. Restaurant Manager seemed so passionate, helpful and knowledgeable about food and service. Kudos to the owner and team, would definitely recommend this place and visit again soon. Once again thank you so much for the wonderful experience which made my day !“

“AMAZINGBest authentic Mexican food spot in the GTA!Tried the tacos, the tortilla, and the burrito.Tacos: Tried the fish, chicken, and the beef tacos. Please see pictures. All tacos are decent size, base is of high quality, generous servings of filling, and a selection of hot sauces. 2 tacos will probably keep you full for a while.Burrito: Burritos here are huge. I tried the beef taco Beef cuts are good, cooked well, and blended with a mayo and lettuce filling. Wrapped in a good quality tortilla. A burrito will keep you full for most of the day.Sandwich: It's about 8 inches, but fluffy bread, lots of filling.Lamb Tortilla: I forgot what exactly this was called, but it's minced lamb meat served in an open tortilla. Also excellent. That they serve lamb is itself remarkable, the lamb being well-seasoned and maintaining the characteristic lamb aroma in a tortilla dish is even more remarkable.Hot sauces: I've tried the medium and hot sauce. The medium sauce is tolerable. The hot sauce is extreme, will burn your gums, but it's good. Prepare to drink lots of water to keep the mouth safe from extreme heat.Drinks: I didn't try ant of their drinks, but they have TopoChico water which is the Perrier sparkling water of Mexico, which I've tried before. I recommend having this ready when you're downing some hot sauce, you will need it.Interior is humble, it's a fast food spot after all, but this place demonstrates that an interior is not the end all be all. The restaurant at the Well has a good interior but their food is subpar. The humbler places have the better food.Staff were very friendly and were willing to explain the menu items to me. Food comes fresh and quick. This is an excellent food joint. It has a good reputation for quality and taste and that keeps bringing in the crowds. That is noble. They don't waste on loud advertising or try to snake you into deals like chain joints. This is simple, high-quality food.Vegetarian options: There's a few vegetarian dishes here like the nachos and the mushroom tortillas/tacos. Vegans and carnivores can dine together here.Parking: Across the street, there is a paid GreenP parking lot and street side GreenP parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yup“

“We had the friendliest server, Rosie, who had amazing recommendations. The food was phenomenal. The four of us shared the chips, guac, and salsa, the street corn, and the chicken & habanero appy. We had the pork tacos, the barbacoa tacos, and the carne asada tacos. The barbacoa, in my opinion, was the best! We topped off our meal with the salted caramel brownie & churros. Omg. Omg. Omg. That brownie was unreal. Although the exterior of the building seems a bit….well, you know…. But holy smokes. The food. The service. The whole vibe. Incredible. The fact that the ENTIRE FOOD MENU is gluten free (the only thing with gluten is the beer, and they have specific glasses to serve them in so no cross-contamination occurs) I’m so impressed. We’re so so so grateful to have such a delectable place to eat and not have to pray we find the “GF” sign beside the dish, as one of us is celiac. “Got ourselves a Mexican feast at la nayarita the other day ??This is what we got to try:- Quesabirria platter- Enmoladas platterLet me start off by saying the chef here used to work at one of the best resorts in Mexico and the reason I say this is because you can taste it in the food ?I was literally transported back to my time in Mexico on the beach just sippin on some cocktails and indulging in the most authentic delicious Mexican plates ??The quesabirria was so cheesy and the birria gravy was so yummy ? my favourite was the enmoladas though! The mole poblano sauce was thiccc and was loaded with flavour and the tortillas was rolled and stuffed with an ample amount of pulled chicken, I devoured this dish and man I was beyond satisfied by the end ?Each dish is plated so beautifully and the flavours stand out as soon as you take one bite ?Their drinks were so strong and delicious too, thank you to Mariana our server and bartender who treated us like family ?Thank you to the owner Monica for running such an amazing place where you feel like family walking in, the talented chef, ofcourse Mariana and the rest of the La Nayarita team! We will be back to try more of the menu If you’re looking for amazing authentic and delicious Mexican flavours in the city and a fun time then La Nayarita is a MUST TRY ? They’ve got DJ nights as well, so what are you waiting for ?!Check them out y’all ??This one is ✨ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ✨“

“Been a loyal customer here since they opened! Not only is the food incredibly delicious, the staff and customer service are super kind and friendly and always treat me super well.Never leave a TIP though, managers keep tips and don’t give to their staff. I repeat, staff sees no tips. They use this as a way to make more money for themselves. Very greedy.I almost always order the tacos - 3 or 4 depending how hungry I am. The fish, chicken and pork are my favourites and so so tasty. I cycle through these three proteins but it's a tie between fish and pork for my favourites (the fish is grilled sea bass I believe and trust me it’s so freaking good). They have other solid menu items as well such as burgers, chicken burgers, poutine and fries but I come and stay for the tacos - if burritos, or taco bowls is more your style you won't be disappointed with these options either. Everything is very reasonably priced as well. The Rice salad is another great option for vegetarians - (add mango sauce as a dressing). They also have a vegetarian taco option too I believe.Grillies never skimps out on their portions either, so you really feel like you are getting your moneys worth. No extra charge for ingredients (you choose your own)- pretty much as many as you like except for guac or grilled onions is small charge. Fresh ingredients are always used and the protein is grilled and made just right every time. Make the taste mild, medium spicy or bbq depending on your preference (I always do spicy).Smoothies are great too - I usually do strawberry banana or mango pineapple.“

“This place is soooooo good! The only reason for the 4 stars is the spice level on my Chilaquiles, I think it should be an option if you'd like it spicy or not. It was too spicy for me, and i couldn't enjoy it, so that was quite disappointing. But, the quacamole and chips were delicious, you get such a huge portion which is surprising because most places can be stingy on the guac. The birria tacos and shrimp were also very big portions enough for two ppl, very flavourful and cooked to perfection. We also had jamaica to drink and tres leches to go which were also great portion sizes. Will def be back here over and over again“

“I love their Adelaide branch which was the initial one. This is a decent one too but somehow I feel the vibes at the original outlet were more appealing. Also the prices mentioned are just for 1 taco each . So you might need to order 2-3 based on your capacity :)“

“A small downstairs establishment with some great Mexican food. Menu is small but has some neat offerings. Prices are on the higher side. Not much seating so if it's busy you probably won't get a seat. There's a cute little jenga to play around with which I thought was a nice touch. The place is nicely decorated, very colorful & reminiscent of Mexico.“

“What a gem! We were in the mood for something different and this was it! From the outside, this place is so unassuming but the vibe inside is so chill! We went on a Thursday night and it was packed! This actually made us excited because it was obvious this place was good! I got two tacos, one carne asada and one beef bulgogi and OMG! Both were absolutely flavorful and fresh! The chips were so crunchy and fresh too! The queso was so creamy and perfectly spicy (beware if you’re sensitive to heat because it has a bite). My mom got the bowl and loved it! The ingredients looked super fresh and colorful! The service was spectacular and the food came out pretty fast considering how busy it was! I highly recommend!“

The chocolate sauce was beautiful, licked our plates clean. The service was so friendly and warm, and the atmosphere was very cozy and had great ambience. The rating on this place should without doubt be a 5. Thanks for such a wonderful meal!“

“The real deal! Been searching for great Mexican and this is it. The quality of the meat is very high. It's cooked perfectly so that the al pastor and suadero are juicy and seared and flavorful, but not dry or rubbery. There's a little fat for flavor but no gristle. And the chilaquiles!!! Made with excellent tomatillo salsa, the perfect amount to make the chips soft but not too soggy. Chicken on top was moist and flavorful, in generous portion. Fried quesadilla was almost like a soft gordita, with fluffy masa fried for a little crunch on the outside, not greasy. Good tinga flavor too. Everything was so good that we turned around and went back to get more tacos for dinner. I grew up with Mexican food and it's been hard to find something this delicious around. Thank you Itacate!!!“

“Such a great Taco place that really complements the diversity of the restaurants in the area. The inside of this place is spacious- giving it a nice diner placement with self serve condiments and toppings. Upon waiting there are seats provided that allow you to see the team of cooks function making your order. The tacos here are great for what you pay. Tacos are sized enough with a large amount of meat packed in. Opting for many different selections- the Birria taco is an absolute delight, tender and soft while still holding flavour. The shells here are grilled just right to mix with the meat. Alongside the Birria, Pollo and Asada are also good picks.“

But let's talk about the SALAD--it was pure heaven, generous portion and oh-boy was it delicious! The hot sauce was DELICIOUS, I had to bring one home! Everything made in house is what I love most about this place! Also, you can tell the level of care & love the owner & staff put into the food and the restaurant!
