Food wasn't fresh, took over 2h for my drink which was so sweet I couldn't drink it, fungas gnats all over our table, we went as a group and we paid nearly $100 a person for crappy food, service, well if you call reheated appetizers food that is. Each person got 1 piece of appetizer each, from three "courses", we ended up going elsewhere to eat real food... never again. Oh and not to mention, took us over 2h to get there (we were excited and quickly dissapointed), and they charged the same amount for our kids under 8, as they did for adults, as well as a forced tip!! Not worth it, don't waste your time or money.“

“We have been visiting El Pocho for a couple years now and it never disappoints. As someone with celiac disease having this completely gluten free option is amazing, especially as all of my non gf friends and family who’ve come also love it because it’s really delicious food. Their recent addition of brunch has been a game changer - do not miss the donuts, unreal!“

“What a gem! We were in the mood for something different and this was it! From the outside, this place is so unassuming but the vibe inside is so chill! We went on a Thursday night and it was packed! This actually made us excited because it was obvious this place was good! I got two tacos, one carne asada and one beef bulgogi and OMG! Both were absolutely flavorful and fresh! The chips were so crunchy and fresh too! The queso was so creamy and perfectly spicy (beware if you’re sensitive to heat because it has a bite). My mom got the bowl and loved it! The ingredients looked super fresh and colorful! The service was spectacular and the food came out pretty fast considering how busy it was! I highly recommend!“

“We stopped in last night for dinner - first time there. Its such a cute space, with a lovely patio out back. The staff was incredible - friendly, and welcoming. The food was beyond. We ordered the Guac and chips, the Dubuu Ensalada, and the taco flight (6 tacos: 3 hard shell, 3 soft). Everything blew us away, but the salad was unreal. So refreshing, and spicy, and delicious. The tacos were phenomenal. Service was 10/10. Great first time experience, and we can't wait to go back!“

We had the carne asada tacos and the meat was perfectly seasoned, not dry and everything else about it came together so well. We agreed this may be the best taco spot we’ve tried in toronto! “I knew my soul was asking me for some Latin Flavor! This was my experience … Sitting in the cozy patio heated up by some warm outdoor heaters and greeted by the Owner Antonio in a very friendly manner and leading me to their cozy outdoor patio space heated up by outdoor heaters. Rustic, clean and lit up patio style, latin music, full of people in the patio chatting and laughing. I was introduced to the chef and waitress and they were both very friendly. I was served a delicious classic sour margarita just the way I asked with less agave. They bring it out with a beautiful red pedal inside just lovely. Then my main dish for this day that I was craving was the Peruvian style ceviche. It was just enough salt and lemon to my taste served with chips tostaditos on the side. I also had 4 little tequenos which are pastries filled with cheese and a sauce and finally ended with dessert un flan !!! Definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family!“

“This was our first time here, but will definitely come back. Ivan, our server was very helpful in telling us about the happy hour small bites. They were all delicious especially the empanadas. The $10 margaritas were also very tasty. We were happy to try this restaurant.“

“Appy was an absolutely amazing person and was incredibly helpful throughout my entire experience. She provided excellent customer service and was extremely kind, friendly, and patient with me. She made sure I felt comfortable and was always willing to take the time to answer my questions and help me find exactly what I was looking for.

One of the things I appreciated the most was how knowledgeable and helpful she was when it came to recommending products. She gave me suggestions based on what I was looking for and recommended different things that I might be interested in buying. Her recommendations were genuinely helpful and made my shopping experience much easier because I didn’t have to spend as much time trying to figure out what would be best for me.

Appy was also very welcoming and had a great attitude the entire time. She never made me feel rushed or pressured into buying anything, and she was happy to explain things and give me her honest suggestions. It was clear that she actually cared about helping me have a good experience rather than just making a sale.

Overall, I had a really great experience because of Appy. She was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, and her customer service was outstanding. “Pretty cool little spot with amazing shareable dishes! We had the zucchini chips, birria croquetas (which were absolutely delicious), and the kalbi quesadillas — yummy galbi beef-stuffed quesadillas that were packed with flavour.
For cocktails, I had the Nitro Carajillo, and I have to say, the horchata foam is an absolute banger. 🤌

“this is seriously my favourite place to get birria tacos and burritos in toronto. no other place can top tacos moras for me. i have been here a couple times and need to remember to post all my other pictures when i find them.

the birria broth is soooo rich and flavourful!!! i never fail to finish the entire bowl. it is not watery or too salty, which are issues i run into constantly when looking for places that sell the broth. i've only even gotten birria as a protein here, it's so yummy and addictive i can't seem to bring myself to try anything else just yet 😋

i almost always eat dine-in because of their self-serve station. it is such a nice experience to have side dishes like the cucumber and radishes to refresh your palette. i hope the staff do not judge my mountain of radishes when they see this.

“Highly recommended: Shikha was working on a Saturday afternoon and was extremely kind and friendly. Tasty burritos and bowls, they have churros for a sweet snack. Outdoor patio in summer. Indoors they only had 5 small tables but maybe they have more when it's cool outside. It wasn't super air conditioned, but it was ok. Fully wheelchair/walker accessible.“
