Food wasn't fresh, took over 2h for my drink which was so sweet I couldn't drink it, fungas gnats all over our table, we went as a group and we paid nearly $100 a person for crappy food, service, well if you call reheated appetizers food that is. Each person got 1 piece of appetizer each, from three "courses", we ended up going elsewhere to eat real food... never again. Oh and not to mention, took us over 2h to get there (we were excited and quickly dissapointed), and they charged the same amount for our kids under 8, as they did for adults, as well as a forced tip!! Not worth it, don't waste your time or money.“

“The service was great, the atmosphere felt like being in El Salvador/Mexico and to sell the feeling of being back home, the meals (pupusas, enchiladas, tacos, and flan for dessert) had that touch and taste of back home to perfection including the salsas (spicy and non spicy) not like other poser restaurants. The finishing touch to the atmosphere was the food and beverages came in dishes typically use in El Salvador/Mexico. I'm saying this as a Salvadoran that has also lived in Mexico. The best part is that almost every meal available on the menu has a vegetarian option (very unique and rare).

For the latinos looking for authentic, this is as authentic as it gets compared to other places who claim authenticity. I drove from Kitchener to Toronto to eat here, and it was a well worth drive.“

A rare Korean-Mexican fusion that results in bites as delicious as their individual elements. The marinated Korean galbi was brimming with a sweet and savory marinade, contrasted with a refreshing, crunchy cabbage salad and a zingy citrus sauce. Meanwhile, the pescado offers more familiar Mexican flavours with two giant, flaky pieces of fish, with a delicately crispy batter that held its own during takeout. A refreshing mayo-dressed jicama slaw offers the creamy backdrop that doesn't overpower the fish, and the flavourful squirt of chipotle mayo and citrus blend makes it a better taco. Both are topped with crumbled cheese, red onions, cilantro and served with green and red salsa. The orange, sunny ceviche has cured sea bass in a citrusy coconut milk, with an interesting and piquant addition of Sichuan chili oil that works surprisingly well on my Chinese palate.“

“What a gem! We were in the mood for something different and this was it! From the outside, this place is so unassuming but the vibe inside is so chill! We went on a Thursday night and it was packed! This actually made us excited because it was obvious this place was good! I got two tacos, one carne asada and one beef bulgogi and OMG! Both were absolutely flavorful and fresh! The chips were so crunchy and fresh too! The queso was so creamy and perfectly spicy (beware if you’re sensitive to heat because it has a bite). My mom got the bowl and loved it! The ingredients looked super fresh and colorful! The service was spectacular and the food came out pretty fast considering how busy it was! I highly recommend!“

Tucked away, small, great energy when you walk in type of vibe.

Tacos are the move. Fresh, loaded, and the Birria tacos were amazing. Literally could drink the consome.

What stood out though was the vibe. Staff are warm, super on it, and it has that neighborhood energy where you feel like you’ve been there before - even if it’s your first time.

This was my experience … Sitting in the cozy patio heated up by some warm outdoor heaters and greeted by the Owner Antonio in a very friendly manner and leading me to their cozy outdoor patio space heated up by outdoor heaters. Rustic, clean and lit up patio style, latin music, full of people in the patio chatting and laughing. I was introduced to the chef and waitress and they were both very friendly. I was served a delicious classic sour margarita just the way I asked with less agave. They bring it out with a beautiful red pedal inside just lovely. Then my main dish for this day that I was craving was the Peruvian style ceviche. It was just enough salt and lemon to my taste served with chips tostaditos on the side. I also had 4 little tequenos which are pastries filled with cheese and a sauce and finally ended with dessert un flan !!! Definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family!“

The supreme fries are easily the best dish. The ingredients are always fresh, chipotle mayo is amazing, and they make the fries fresh if it’s less busy. I get these everytime Im in the area.

“Have to say one of the better taco spots in the city. Haven’t tried the other locations but this one is worth checking out. They have a small bar on the side for extra toppings. Birreira taco was not too soggy, crispy and very filling. Look at the size of these tacos couldn’t finish them. Warning those grilled hot peppers are spicy.“

Stop the presses! A new and outstanding restaurant has opened up in the trendy areas otherwise known as St. Clair Avenue West where all the cool and trendy hipsters hang out.

barBURRITO is serving up some of the best Mexican food in the city!

Honestly it's a big and loud YUM from me! And the prices are so amazing.

I order the BBOX which included a medium size and fully loaded succulent chicken burrito that came with loaded beef nachos!

The food was absolutely delicious!

So if you're in the mood for some delicious Burritos, chips and salsa then you definitely have to check them out.

Excellent customer service the folks working at the counter are so incredibly nice so please tip well when you visit!

And let's support this outstanding restaurant that's a new and welcoming addition to the neighbourhood!

“A delicious taco joint squirreled away. I highly HIGHLY recommend the cochinitas. So juicy and flavourful!!! The quesabirria was good too but not as impressive to me as the cochinitas. The consomme was a little light but if you think consimme is generally too heavy to enjoy, its a good balance between flavour and oil.
Our server was very nice and our food came out quickly! You get a good portion for what you pay, and the size of the servings are right next to the menu so you can decide if it's worth it yourself!“
