“I can't believe I haven't reviewed this wonderful restaurant. The food is SO good. I like the birria here more than anywhere else I've tried downtown. Just remember that the bowls and tacos do not travel well, so order tortas or burritos for take-out or delivery.“

“Amazing tacos - carne asada, cod, and pork belly - each bite had crunchy texture (each taco had a different kind of crunch), and complexity of sweet, spicy, salty. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time - maybe ever, including in travels to Mexico!“

“The food was hot, fresh, and delicious!! The store is clean and tidy. The only thing I can say against the place was that the tables were in rough shape, but they were clean(people have carved initials on most of the tables). I also realize that something like this cannot be controlled and that there’s no point in putting nice tables in the place, as they will be carved up in a week. But, that’s not enough to deter me from being a customer.

“Finding this place was an adventure in itself! It seems to share the space with a couple of other businesses?! Even once you walk in, you’re not entirely sure you’re in the right place. The taco menu was intriguing, so I went with the Bandido. I love spicy food, but the sauce overpowered the other flavours, which was a shame because the ingredients themselves were delicious. I couldn’t finish all three tacos because of it. Unfortunately, today the Bandido caught me! 😂 Maybe it was the humidity, or simply too much sauce but less would’ve been more. “Stopped by to check out the Tacobel Discovery Boxes and was really impressed. The boxes themselves look like a fun activity, but the best part was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what was inside each box and even showed us a sample of the fossils. It’s clear they care about their products and their customers. Will definitely be back“
