“Cozy little restaurant with a nice patio, serving brunch and other lunch/dinner dishes, make this a versatile stop to dine during all times of the day.

Food is very well made as we sampled some brunch, sandwiches, and entree's.

Inside dining space is limited, so larger parties is a bit hard to accommodate, make reservations!

I give them 8.5/10!“

“The poutine was fine but all the onion in the gravy was unexpected overkill--but it was delicious even still...the water glass was way too small and only like 2/3 full and didn't get refilled, nbd but i was actually thirsty and felt weird asking for more...the table was disgustingly dirty with old mayonnaise smears that my hand landed in...wiped it up myself...the black and blue smoothie was really bland for all those ingredients listed all I tasted was milk and a little hint of blueberry. Couldn't sit back on the bench because it was too sharp angled and dug into my back a cushion would have fixed that. Lots of little things but overall I did actually enjoy the visit, everyone was keeping the place spotless(maybe not my table but the plants were sure getting a lot of love) and beautiful, great music, great vibe, I will likely visit again and give another chance thank you for taking my feedback ❤️“

“I have seen this place for months and today, we finally went.

We ordered 2 grilled turkey sandwiches and a regular and iced latte.
Delicious sandwiches and high-quality coffee. They had two coffee selections: nutty and fruity. We had the nutty.
There is no sugar but syrup and still delicious.

Nice vibe with poetry, chocolate, and vinyl on the walls. Cute patio.

Friendly service with a smile.
Clean bathroom too.

Lots of people coming in while we were there.

“Friends and coworkers have been suggesting this place for a while. Price is good for what is given. Bread is fluffy and soft but has a great light toast so there is great texture with each bite. Hash brown was flavourful and doesn’t need any condiments to eat. It’s a great breakfast or brunch option. I will eat here again.“

“I’m not a downtowner, so on a cold evening out there, we were in search for a hot chocolate after reading reviews.
This nice cozy cafe didn’t disappoint us. Loved the hot chocolate here, although we shouldn’t have added the whipped cream as that made it go colder at a faster pace.

“I like that they have some unique options, like the beetroot latte I had today. But just felt compelled to say that it’s socially criminal to promote a drink that’s just with oatmilk as horchata ?. Horchata is with tiger nuts, rice, jicaro, sesame or melon seeds, etc. … but not oat. and it’s disrespectful to both the history of the drink and also to coffee drinkers in T.O for whom oatmilk is nothing special at this point. Seems like a nice enough atmosphere but there were no observed plugs for anyone hoping to study/work on location.“

“I love this place. Youssef is a great guy. The atmosphere is one that’s very warm and inviting. I just feel very comfortable being there.

Add to that it’s a 7 minute walk from my place.

The desserts, which I promised myself one each weekend, makes the anticipation great. And I’m always happily satisfied . So far I have not been disappointed but rather pleasantly rewarded.

Add to that the place is open beyond 10 pm most weeknights. The perfect place to bring a laptop, knock off a few work emails or just chill after a long day.

I’ve been there 6 times so far and each time it’s becoming more of a place I look forward to going to.

The cold, snowy winters will be better tolerated with a warm spot like this.

“A little hidden oasis in somewhat of a rough patch of the city. Great for cosy dates as well as quiet moments with a book or a laptop. They offer good quality selection of coffee and tea. I liked their choice of music which enhances the overall classy atmosphere. The food and pastry, as well as the service never disappointed us. Warmer months on their patio are equally enjoyable as their indoor environment. Word of caution - you won't like it if you dislike the scent of freshly baked butter-based delicacies.“

“A little, tiny café that offers good coffee and other drinks like matcha latte, etc. There’s no indoor seating, but they have a small patio in the summer. The coffee tastes good, though the espresso is served extremely hot—I even burned myself. If you want to enjoy your drink, head to College Park where you can sit down.“

The donuts, croissants, and focaccia are great.
I tried different coffee options, latte, cappuccino and affogato, all were good.

Originally visited on September 28! ☺️ I had extra time before a work event and came here for breakfast! I was drawn to the name of the coffee shop, and thought the yellow chairs outside were cute.

For food, I ordered the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and Groovy Smoothie. Everything was soooo fresh!! I had ask the owner his name (Rolando) and told him I could taste how fresh everything was. He was so happy to hear this and shared that he makes everything in the morning! ?☺️

I also asked him where the name Capulus came from and what inspired him to use this name for the cafe, and he said that in Latin, it means coffee.

We chatted a bit about the cafe! His business partner is from the Philippines, which is why they have a lechon inspired sandwich (without the crackling) and she taught him how to cook it. They also have drinks like ube lattes. They're a fusion cafe, which is why their menu has Latin and Asian inspired food! ?

It is a cozy cafe, and I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear Rolando say that they get the same customers coming to the cafe 2 to 3 times a day ? which is sooooo nice! ?❤️

Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of tables outside (see attached photos), but the inside is not wheelchair accessible (the tables and chairs are higher and attached to the walls).“

“This is a very warm place with beautiful decor and friendly staff. The location is convenient and it is in one of the oldest multicultural neighborhoods. This cafe also has tasty goodies, sandwiches, pastries and one of the best coffees in town, De Mello. I highly recommend Ninetails Coffee Bar.“

“I visited this popular Tibetan restaurant on a Saturday night. They only accept walk-ins, no reservations. We had to wait for 1 hour so be aware of the long wait times.

We ordered:
1. Yellow Laphing Dry with => Very unique and tasty dish. Crunch of WaiWai was also nice.
2. Veg => Hands down. One of the best Chowmein ever. Select mild spicy level. Their medium spicy level is too much.
3. Veg Sizzler with Szechuan sauce: 3/5 => Too oily. The Momos were bland in itself. With noodles, it was good.
4. Chilli Garlic => Very good. Large portions too.
5. Steamed Veg Momos with Manchurian sauce: 4/5 => Very good.
6. Family size platter: 4/5 => Good. Got half steamed and got pan fried. They were quite hot from inside. Pan fried were tastier.

All the items were so tasty. Except the sizzler, I totally loved all the items. I didn’t get any 5% discount to write this review. We asked them for mild spicy level which we found perfect for our tastebuds. Staff is nice and humble. The service could be faster. They accept credit card as well. I would recommend this Tibetan restaurant to everyone.“

“Found this place last year while taking a casual stroll in chinatown. I have tried almost everything on the menu since then ? none of them disappointed of course. I highly recommend the peach oolong, mango jasmine, and matcha latte. They are iconic! Try their sesame tofu cheesecake too (no, it doesn’t taste like tofu).

“Mofer has become my favorite coffee shop in the neighbourhood and there is a lot of great competition.

It is the only place I can get a unique tasting coffee via pourover.

The team is so friendly and kind and Ruth specifically always makes me feel welcome and makes the best pour over I've ever had. I feel like family here.

Their smoothies are exceptional as well!“

“The donuts made here are excellent, specifically the filled ones. We purchased an assortment of 6 which saved us the tax. While the fritters were quite good, we have been spoiled by ones from another shop and these were not quite as good. We did however like that they also had peach fritters on offer. 6 donuts cost us $30 all in with nominal tip. This shop is worth a visit.“
