“Soul Chocolate is a delicious place to grab a treat. The hot chocolate, mochas and frozen hot chocolate are very yummy. The chocolate tart and chocolate chip cookies are a great accompanyment. There's lots of space for babies to hang out here as well. A great place to take your baby and meet up with friends. The staff are so friendly and warm.“

“This place is an absolute secret gem Bloor Village! Viktor's knowledge and passion will always encourage you to try some new exotic flavors! Lavender Latte was superior! Made with authentic Lavender Extract from France, a proper way of preparing and quality! This place is addictive, with a pleasant ambiance and a genuinely friendly service! You can enjoy it inside or on a patio :) Highly recommend!“

“The cheesy corn had my attention so I decided to give it a try. My other half got the meat lovers one. The corn was unique and tasty.

“I love this place! My boyfriend and I stopped by here a couple of times on our holiday to Canada, we'd brought our Bromptons with us so wanted to see these guys as they are the Canadian distributor for Brompton. Turns out they make the ABSOLUTE BEST MOCHA I've ever had in my life too :)
The owner was chatting to us for ages about places for us to cycle to and general bike chat, I felt like a local immediately. The other staff here were super friendly too.

The atmosphere is great, the music is epic (hello Neutral Milk Hotel) and the Brompton selection was brilliant.

Food wasn't fresh, took over 2h for my drink which was so sweet I couldn't drink it, fungas gnats all over our table, we went as a group and we paid nearly $100 a person for crappy food, service, well if you call reheated appetizers food that is. Each person got 1 piece of appetizer each, from three "courses", we ended up going elsewhere to eat real food... never again. Oh and not to mention, took us over 2h to get there (we were excited and quickly dissapointed), and they charged the same amount for our kids under 8, as they did for adults, as well as a forced tip!! Not worth it, don't waste your time or money.“

“Really cute local coffee shop. I only had a black coffee so can’t comment on their food offer but the place is so relaxed and welcoming, with cool artwork on all the walls. Feels like it would be a good place to spend the day writing or studying as it is spacious and light.“

“Such a cozy little cafe! I've been coming here almost daily during my lunch break this summer, and the baristas are always so kind and welcoming. I've been a regular consumer of their smoothies, particularly the peach smoothie (which is so refreshing!). Their minty lemonade is amazing on a hot summer day, paired with any of their baked goods. I love their sandwiches, they are always fresh and tasty. I will really miss this place and its people!“

“After moving to Canada, I spent years looking for a proper Raf coffee, and I finally found it at Kava! The coffee was excellent quality and exactly what I had been missing. The Medovik cake was amazing, and the salted caramel tart was absolutely delicious. Great coffee, great desserts, and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This place is a sure gem! Everything from the top notch service to the clean and neat environment, to the exquisite desserts. We were so impressed. I had the 'Fruitmania' and it was very good. It was the first time trying ashta and the more I ate it, the more I fell in love with it. It was perfectly paired with the strawberry and mango juice. The right amount of sweetness! “I was drawn to Project Seoul because of their upstairs location and seating that faces Spadina Ave. This cafe is wonderful for getting some work done, relaxing, or catching up with a friend. The staff is nice and I look forward to trying more of the menu!“

“Very well located, right in front of Riverdale park, super popular and busy but the coffee is smooth and de pastries are divine. It’s always busy but if you cannot find a seat, you can just hangout in the park.

“This was me and my friends’ first time at Dessert Fox and we will definitely go back to try more stuff on the menu!

I ordered the iced dalgona latte and was so shocked when it came large pieces of dalgona - it was a nice touch! I also ordered the matcha strawberry croffle and it was so good. The strawberries were sweet enough to balance the matcha, and the croffle was so soft. The service was also very quick! Definitely a nice space to study or read, or just hang out with friends.“

“Picture this: It's 9pm on a Tuesday night - libraries are closed, most cafes are too. You want to go somewhere with a nice atmosphere (that isn't a bar), have a cup of tea and read your book. Enter GelaTeo! This place is very cozy and was playing great jazz.
I'm excited to make this a regular weeknight haunt. Their ice cream and other treats look amazing as well, can't wait to try!“

“Love love love Mayil! Their coffee is just like the South Indian filter coffee I remember having back home (probably better!). They've got options to customize it to your preference, and offer some really good tea and snacks as well. I also appreciate how thoughtful their decor is - every little detail is reminiscent of South Indian culture and it just feels so welcoming. The owners, Amal and Neha, are super passionate and dedicated to ensuring top notch service. There's a patio at the back, wifi and they're also dog friendly. Hands down my favorite coffee shop in the city!“

“Folks, you have to come try the peanut butter and jelly latte here. I was expecting an overly sweetened flavor, but what I got instead was a rich latte that's not too sweet, just lightly topped with a bit of jelly.

We also had the cortado, which I would say is on par with some of the best coffee shops in the city. Overall, I recommend this coffee shop. Just a heads-up: there are a couple of stairs at the entrance, so it might be a concern for those with accessibility needs. Otherwise, Great vibes!“

“Came in for a quick drink — ended up staying for the coffee and company! I had a regular drip first, but then the barista (super warm!) and I had a great conversation so I got another latte! Would definitely recommend visiting and grabbing your morning coffee here. 10/10!“

But once I arrived, I really enjoyed the ambience, decor and friendly, but reserved vibe. The presentation of the coffee I ordered, a pour over, was very unique, and it's a genius move to provide a glass of sparkling water with the coffee.

“Great atmosphere, like a rustic cabin. The staff was chill and welcoming. I enjoyed my coffee. They sell a varieties of roasted beans too. Relatively narrow space but long enough to pack several tables, and it's on a part of queen st rather far from the financial or touristy core of the city.“

“Looking for a coffee shop open early near the Chelsea Hotel on a Monday, Hailed Coffee was on our radar. They open at 7:30am out of a tiny space with a few outdoor tables. Their lattes are strong and creamy. They also sell different types of croissants like raspberry and Nutella. They will even warm them up for you!“

Decent amount of seating in a space with a warm aesthetic owing to wood paneling and a dark floor, balanced by large plate glass windows that allow one to take in the busy Yonge and Wellesley streetscape.
