“Honestly, the gelato was very close to what we’ve had in Italy. The texture, flavour, and quality really reminded us of authentic Italian gelato. The cappuccino was also excellent — rich, thick, and topped with a beautiful crema, just the way we like it. A great spot to enjoy a taste of Italy right here in Toronto. Highly recommend!“

“I was wondering how Berkeley Cafe has 4.9 stars; I 110% agree!! The prices are very reasonable especially in downtown Toronto. I’m quite picky with my Matchas but their matcha isn’t bad at all! The service was amazing and the wonderful person who helped my friend and I is very chill. The grilled chicken sandwich is fresh, delicious, and the bread is crisp!“

“We’ve been here five times! The quality has always been consistent. The interior design is lovely, the ambience is spacious, sweet, soothing, warm, and refreshing. I personally like warm coffees and we tried their misto, latte and cappuccino, all good with a strong coffee taste. The cappuccino is super foamy. My husband likes cold drinks and we tried their seasonal iced latte brulee flavour. The barista was humble and kind, asked for our feedback, and tailored the flavour to our preferences. You can tell that they really love coffee and hope to make the best coffee for each customer!“

Unlike some franchise coffee shops, at this place I actually tasted the espresso, what a pleasant thing to have happen, pay for a specialty coffee and actually taste coffee!!! Wow!!! “One of the rare Turkish diners for golzleme. That's part of Turkish village breakfast menu but these guys have it and make it right. The rest of breakfast is complete, breads fresh, and a good spread. I go there all the time.“

“The owner is so nice, and really knowledgeable about Pu-Erh teas. He is patient, and the food he makes is amazing! The prices for the teas and food is reasonable (student budget friendly lmao). I remember when this was at a different location down the street and he had chalkboard menus - updated now and looks awesome. Interior decor is 100% instagramable with the arwork and the wood seating. You gotta come here at least once if you're around here, it's worth it.“

“A cozy little cafe in Kensington Market with great food and drink options. During the summer months, they also have a patio out back. They have a handful of seating in the front, too.

I came here on a Friday morning to do some work, and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a sandwich and iced hibiscus drink. Both delicious, however the sandwich was a bit messy to eat at times.“

“I stopped in to warm up after a hike through High Park and a walk along Roncesvalles. The coffee shop is charming, with plenty of seating (mostly suited for small groups). I sat at the window bar and really enjoyed my flat white. The atmosphere was lovely; although the café was full, it was surprisingly quiet, with most patrons focused on work or reading. Overall, it was a great experience: delicious espresso in a warm, welcoming, and spotless space, the perfect afternoon treat after a cold morning outdoors.“

It’s a family run restaurant, the chef father makes so delicious and juicy bagel&sandwich, the cookies baked by the son are also very impressive 😍😍😍 what is more impressive is the price, All Day Breakfast:a bagel with a coffee , only costs 5.99CAD, 6.77 after tax. Nowadays this price can only buy a cup of coffee in Toronto 😅😅 A bagel alone like that would cost at least 12 CAD!!!! When I firstly saw the ad saying All- Day Breakfast 5.99 on the wall, I thought that must be a scam😂😅 Buz similar meal like that in the campus food trucks are at least twice the price. Then one day I finally tried to walk in Papamio’s, it did cost that less and the boss even gave me a cookie for free as a new client 🤩🤩🤩“

“10/10 experience at King’s Cafe in Kensington. The menu, service and food were all incredible - a vegetarian (or non-vegetarian’s dream)! Very fair prices and good portion sizes with lots of vegetables and protein.

A standout was the bbq pork with bok choy, which my boyfriend said tasted just like pork char sui. The owners were warm and welcoming, answering all our questions with a smile.

“This is a really cute cafe and wine bar tucked on a side street off Queen. The food and drink menu is delicious and creative, and I love the dog theme. This is my favorite place to sit and work in, the vibe and atmosphere are perfect for it.“

“I had such a wonderful morning at this spot on Keele Street. Everything felt so fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

The matcha latte was beautiful, served with such precise and elegant latte art. I also loved the sandwich, which was wrapped in a classic green and white checkered paper that made it so easy to eat.

“Such a lovely gem near High Park! My husband and I stopped by for breakfast before heading to the park, and we absolutely loved everything. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming, complete with peaceful instrumental classical music playing in the background. We tried the coffee, cappuccino, quiche, and croissant—all of them were delicious! The staff were super friendly and provided wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back!“

“This location is expertly designed and I personally feel that boxcar serves the best coffee beans in the city (subtext roasters) but the atmosphere in here was so unbearable today I have to deduct a star. European Son by The Velvet Underground & Nico is an iconic track, but it is not conducive to any of the activities that happen at a coffee shop. After suffering through eight minutes of this song while trying to write an email… I’m not coming back here any time soon. The music was playing so loudly that I could barely communicate with the barista to order.“
