“We've been on a bit of a bingsu kick so finally tried The Cups. We ordered the large matcha bingsu which was around $20-25. Good size portion for two people to have, and it was mostly good. We really liked the almond chips and the mochi, and we felt that they didn't skimp on the matcha powder which is nice.

Where it missed the mark a bit for us is the green tea ice cream was actually freezer burnt and made it a bit difficult to eat. There was also a bit of clumping with the snow near the bottom.

This place seems to be really popular on weekends so it might be hard to get a seat.“

“Today Jan 3, 2025 was my first time here. Beautifully decorated, Clean, generous size delicious baked on the premises blueberry scones, good coffee, friendly helpful staff and owner. I spent a long time working on the crossword puzzle sipping my two cups of coffee. I wasn’t rushed. Felt very comfortable. I wish them well, and I shall return for sure.“

“Fantasy place to bring the kids. We've been going here since the kids were born now there nearing middle aged. We go here at least 3 times a week and more frequently during summer. The new owner has done a marvelous job on upgrading the store and upgrading the menu and drinks. She also offered us complimentary cream puffs and even gave us a free candle after finding out it was for a birthday. And honestly, the best pistachio cake ever. “Great place to chill with friends, couches are very comfy but can get taken up fast during peak hours. I really like their dessert options, their drinks are good but a little pricey. I particularly go for their waffle options topped with ice cream when I go. The place is cutely decorated and it’s on the top floor of the building so has an overlooking view of outside which is nice when hanging out and relaxing.“

He’s so consistent in his quality and care, everytime I’ve been here he’s taken amazing care of us. Make sure you ask for him!! And food never disappoints-quality is amazing. “This was actually the cutest Starbucks in San Jose. It was super clean with a large seating area. Outside, there are many good trucks but they appeared closed in the mornings. Excellent coffee and service. They even had a drive through. Costa Rican Starbucks is waaaaay better than my Toronto neighbourd location.“

“This office building is hiding such a high-quality coffee shop! It's right next to the subway exit, so you can get there without even stepping onto the street. The menu has a wide selection, and the food is all top-notch. The best part is, even the tables and chairs are quite high. I'm a little envious of the office workers who work here.“

“Love this place . It’s a hidden gem . The steak sandwiches are unbelievable leave alone the house made Dandelion root ice tea . The sandwiches by Daniel et Daniel are so good especially the chicken club and grilled cheese for kids .
Such a great atmosphere and the staff are such a great team ! You do have to wait in line sometimes but it’s worth the beautiful treats and you get to love the beautiful botanical gardens too !

Prices are on the higher side for a quick service salad / sandwich place but the quality is good and options are plentiful.

Their drink menu is also 👌 on point 👉
My go to is the Chickpea salad with an iced hazelnut latte.

Service is generally friendly but not overly engaged with customers.

The location is always busy during weekday lunches. It can be hard to find a seat, but on a nice day they have some patio seating which helps and adds a nice vibe.

They also validate parking for the parking garage attached to the building. A heads up that You can't get there through the parking garage, you need to walk around the outside of the building (something to consider on a cold or rainy day).“

●Coffee is $2.99 a cup
●Tea is $3.49 a cup & not sure why it is expensive.
●A variety of croissants, cookies & they can make a fresh sandwich for you.
●It has covered up its garbage receptacle on top of its counter where you can access your milk, cream & sugar > its rather sneaky of them. Use the garbage receptacle in the seating area of the mall. Just saying...
●Plenty of tables/chairs.
●Nice, clean, bright & staff are all friendly.“
