“We visited Bready Vaughan location today. It was very busy as usual. The pastries look amazing. I had a coffee and croissant. Our server and cash attendant Kion was suggesting different items we should try and was extremely helpful and very friendly. My husband had a Pragel which was unbelievably delicious. We usually get the Jerusalem bagels which are equally delicious but unfortunately they were out. Love this place!“

“This is hands down my favorite place! They have the best matcha lattes in the area and the staff is so sweet and helpful! I wish they opened earlier just so I could grab it in the AM before work! The quality of Matcha is so good I wish I could buy it and bring it home. I’ve had their coffees and other drinks all always hit the spot. On my most recent trip there the drink my husband got wasn’t the best and they were so accommodating to give him something he would enjoy. Gazelle was so lovely and gave us another drink“

“We've been on a bit of a bingsu kick so finally tried The Cups. We ordered the large matcha bingsu which was around $20-25. Good size portion for two people to have, and it was mostly good. We really liked the almond chips and the mochi, and we felt that they didn't skimp on the matcha powder which is nice.

Where it missed the mark a bit for us is the green tea ice cream was actually freezer burnt and made it a bit difficult to eat. There was also a bit of clumping with the snow near the bottom.

This place seems to be really popular on weekends so it might be hard to get a seat.“

“Came here for lunch with my family. The food was really good and the owners made us feel like we were family even going out of their way to give our young kids snacks. I didn’t get to try it but their chicken tikka looked and smelled really good. Masala chai was good as well. Highly recommend!“

“I love this little coffee shop. The music is always spot on, the vibes are just right.

The quality of the ingredients they use is phenomenal and the drinks are very nice, I personally love their iced teas. And the prices are actually quite decent, not overprized as most other spots that share a similar concept and debatable quality.

“There is free parking behind the cafe. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Since everything here is delicious, the cafe stays busy during most of their open hours and it can be hard to find seating for groups of 3 or more. Once your order is ready, your call buzzer will notify you to pick it up from the counter. It will be your responsibility to clean up after yourself. There is one bathroom inside the cafe that is locked by pressing a large button next to the door on the left.“

Tucked into St. Clair West in Toronto, this tiny-but-mighty café delivers a distinctly European feel with a soft touch of Greece. The footprint is small, but the execution is thoughtful enough that nothing feels missing. It’s the kind of space that makes you reconsider what “small” can actually do.

When you walk in, there’s a charming little nook to the left — potted plants, a vintage-style table, a mirror that bounces the light just right. Cozy without trying too hard. On the opposite wall (only a few feet away), a slim row of seating (4-5) makes dine-in possible without crowding the space. Every inch feels intentional.

There’s a refrigerated retail section stocked with water, hummus, packaged drinks, and desserts. A small board highlighting local businesses adds a community touch. One of my favourite details? A bicycle mounted along the wall with a wooden plank across the top, cleverly used to hold lids, tissues, and essentials. Functional, but also very aesthetic.

The coffee program is strong. They use beans from De Mello Coffee Roasters, and the classic espresso menu is all there — plus traditional Greek coffee. (Quick tip: drink it while it’s hot; let it sit too long and the grounds rise to the top.) Alternative milk options are plenty — oat, almond, coconut, soy — and their tea selection features premium blends from Sloane Fine Tea Merchants.

The baked goods lean Greek in the best way — spanakopita and tiropita that are flaky, savoury, and genuinely satisfying. On the retail shelf, you’ll find De Mello beans alongside Greek extra virgin olive oil and thyme honey — small details that round out the story.

Café Daki proves you don’t need square footage to create atmosphere. Just intention, warmth, and a very good cup of coffee.“

For the matcha loving girlies like me this place is definitely worth the try! We also ordered a slice of the chocolate cake and it was so good too!!! My partner who ordered the iced coffee (can’t remember which one) said that his drink was good too!

“Wasn’t going to come in but my plane was delayed. Glad I did. Clean, well staffed, a smaller selection than the maple lounges but they did have a few hot breakfast options. But the best part is the great selection of grab and go options to take with you. Even provide little bags and disposable cutlery. Now just figure out how to get your flights off on time. 🤔“
