“My wife and I visited this place for brunch, and we had a pleasant time, great coffee's and good food. Steak Bahn mi sandwich had some great flavor and the Stae Bagel was also quite good, both sandwiches were made with fresh toppings! Definitely recommend this spot, but parking is a pain in this area and seating is quite limited.“

“I really like this small pastry place. I tried different pastries from this store and none of them disappointed me! Next time I want to try their chocolate as I believe is their specialty. You should definitely try their 70% chocolate bar. It’s my favourite one and I always order this whenever I visit this store.“

“This is our go-to spot for crepe cakes! They’re very cheap for the quality and in comparison to many other cafes/bakeries that sell crepe cakes. We’ve tried the Oreo, mango and Earl grey crepe cake, and they were all so delicious. The cakes were not too sweet which suited our taste. The store is in the underground parking lot, and once you enter, there’s the sweet aroma of cake.

The crepe cake is very delicate with many layers as pictured. The mango crepe cake was great for mango lovers as there was a lot of fresh mango. The earl grey crepe cake was great as well because there was a strong tea flavour and it wasn’t too sweet. There was also an Earl grey jelly on the top layer of the cake. We come here every birthday to order crepe cakes because although crepe cakes are usually the most expensive, X-Cake sells delicious crepe cakes for an affordable price.

We came back for the earl grey crepe cake again and it was delicious as usual. We also tried the mango purple rice crepe cake which was not too sweet, and the purple rice added a unique flavour which we enjoyed!“

“Very cute place, parking is either right across or right next to the shop. Very accessible shop by a main street standard.

Food is not going to blow your socks off but it shouldn't give you a reason to turn around. Prices are very reasonable in this day and age, owner prepares all food fresh in the kitchen after you order it. The little cat on my coffee was so cute I didn't want to stir it.

Very cozy store and great atmosphere, if you play the guitar or piano, there's one to play while you wait. There's also outdoor seats if you'd like to relax outside.

Owner is very friendly and always has something to chat about when you visit, treats regulars or new comers all the same. Like others said it's not an actual cat cafe but it's a cat themed shop.

Store also sells muffins and ice cream all year round.

Not exactly somewhere I'd study or work but just to sit around and relax, it's a great location.“

“Excellent coffee, and I love watching a barista making espresso with the correct workflow, and with such care! Ordered 2 Cappuccino's and everything was perfect.

We are visiting family in the area for the month, and I own an Espresso Bar down south, so we of course try to support local coffee businesses whenever we can.

Unfortunately, much of the time my wife just ends up having to listen to me point out all the things coffee shops are doing wrong, making it doubly appreciated for both of us when we hit on a place that does everything right ?

“i was going to leave a review about two rude customers from earlier today but it looks like some people already beat me to it ?

a couple and their daughter came in and started holding up the line because they couldn’t decide what to order and then got really offended over the one of the girls turning the ipad over for them to pay and made a huge scene. the workers did the best they could to get them to calm down but they kept throwing a tantrum, ironically their kid was more well behaved than either of them. even after they had their order taken, the husband would not shut up and kept huffing and puffing over the whole situation while the workers were helping other people. they kept saying things like “check the cctv footage” like a bunch of people didn’t witness what had just happened. rude people are so predictable because i knew the photos they were taking would end up on google reviews ? ? ?

anyway, big props to the two girls for handling this situation well. i came with my friend and we are definitely coming back to try the mango milk pudding next time. the matcha mango latte was delicious ?“

“Two things will tell you if you’re at a good location.1. Exceptional staff and baristas who don’t miss a beat, and 2. The quality and taste of the Nitro Cold Brew. And this location won me at that.I’m a bit particular about the taste of Nitro, and if its pulled wrong or the ratio of water that is mixed in is wrong, it can throw the flavour off. If the tanks and lines aren’t cleaned properly you can get a bitter or strange tasting beverage. There are a lot of moving parts in making sure the cold brew is up to par, and is usually a good indicator as to how much care the staff takes in preparing the cold brew (and likely everything else). That litmus test is what I personally use to know if I want to keep going to a location or not, and I never have issues here.Also special shout-out to JC who knew exactly what I wanted from my Nitro beverage. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Keep up the great work. Cheers!“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“Super cute little cafe! We really enjoyed our drinks. We got the latte donut and the butterfly latte (non-caffeinated). For the donut latte they pour it in front of you, allow you to try it and they add some more. Which I found pretty cool. The staff working was very kind, helped us decide what to get by recommending and patiently explaining. The cafe is a bit small with probably around 10 seats. We came on a Friday at around 2:30 and lucky was able to get a seat. Their drinks are a bit pricey though, the donut latte was around $10 and the butterfly latte was around $7. I believe they are also pet friendly. Would definitely come again, loved the vibes!

“Always enjoy coming here for the creme brule black milk tea. Always get it with light sugar and fixed ice. It comes with a crisp sugar top you should take a bite and mix it throughly into the black milk tea. I always get the golden pearls and every sip is a great mix of creamy and chewy goodness. Definitely a nice treat when you want bubble tea and not overly sweet. Make sure to get lite sugar and enjoy!“

“I went there for the first time today to try out the taste.
These tastes feel very authentic and delicious
Although the garlic buns are a little burnt, they are still delicious.
The salad is very thin, the ham is delicious, and the salad dressing is not too much or too little.
The lamb chop is not too smelly and has a strong lamb flavor. The fish fillet is very tasty and the side dishes include broccoli, tomatoes and corn.
Spaghetti is tougher
Fried chicken wings, they have a leafy flavor and are fried enough to be crispy
The French fries are also very delicious and delicious.
Hong Kong-style milk tea is rich enough and the tea base is fragrant enough

“Can't comment on the food, but I've been to Rica Cafe a couple of times now and I liked it. It's tucked away in King Square mall, but it has an outdoor patio facing Markland and 16th avenue. Unfortunately when we came this time the patio wasn't open because it was too windy.

The lady who works here is very kind. She made a decaf coffee fresh for my brother who can't drink caffeine. She was also very patient with us with the menus.

It is a little bit of a tight squeeze in terms of seating, so I can imagine it feeling a little crowded when busy.“

“I've ordered both takeout and dined in here now. My faovurite takeout order is the turkey chili.

I got the Fuji Apple Salad and the half Toasted Italiano sandwich. The portions were pretty big for me personally. The apple salad dressing was delicious, adding a sweet dimension to the salad. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with many flavors.

We didn't have to wait long for our meals to come while dining in.

2. Lamb souvlaki with fries and rice

Both orders include a salad, and garlic bread.

Chicken and lamb was soft and juicy. You can tell they took effort and time to make a good meal.
