“The owner is very nice and the space is very unique. It's located right on beautiful main Street Markham and I think it's in the old building and you can go upstairs and there's a guitar and piano and a washroom and a lot of cute things to look at. The prices are also not expensive. Unfortunately the coffee was too delicious but that doesn't matter. It was cheap and I was happy to hang out there.“

“small shop in the underground parking garage in the plaza. when you walk in it’s quite small and crowded but it is quite empty. there’s a showcase of cake bentos and regular cakes you could purchase. anything else you’d like would need to be purchased online. i had came in after seeing tiktoks about their place, there was no mango when i came in but i had asked the lady if she has any and she told me to wait 5 kinds while she made me won. it was a wonderful gesture

this mango purple rice cake bento costed me $16, if you pay in cash no tax. the cake is perfectly soft and moist, the cream is not too sweet and the mangos are very sweet as well. the purple sticky rice adds a nice texture to it as well. everything works well together and i like that the only sweetness there really is, is the mangos so for people who don’t like sweet cakes this is perfect

“Best matcha powder can be found here. It’s very high quality, in my opinion. It doesn’t taste bitter at all, and the color is a nice green—not too bright (edited) or dark green like horse poop.

The best part is the price: just $26 for 40g. However, a big pouch of 100g is $65. This means they are the same gram to
dollar ratio, or $1 buys you 1.54g. Therefore, always buy the small matcha pouch.“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“I’ve visited 5 star rated coffee shops in N America, Europe and Asia but have only been advised by the barista here on which beans to choose for oat milk. She’s knowledgeable about different varieties of coffee and happy to share knowledge.

“Stopped by Monkey Hut Cafe and really enjoyed the vibe. There was some good music playing, making it a nice place to sit and relax. The bright mural on the wall also adds some character to the space. The coffee drinks were good, and while the pastry selection was a little limited when we visited, what we chose was tasty. A nice spot to stop in and unwind with a coffee.“

“Two things will tell you if you’re at a good location.1. Exceptional staff and baristas who don’t miss a beat, and 2. The quality and taste of the Nitro Cold Brew. And this location won me at that.I’m a bit particular about the taste of Nitro, and if its pulled wrong or the ratio of water that is mixed in is wrong, it can throw the flavour off. If the tanks and lines aren’t cleaned properly you can get a bitter or strange tasting beverage. There are a lot of moving parts in making sure the cold brew is up to par, and is usually a good indicator as to how much care the staff takes in preparing the cold brew (and likely everything else). That litmus test is what I personally use to know if I want to keep going to a location or not, and I never have issues here.Also special shout-out to JC who knew exactly what I wanted from my Nitro beverage. “Fairly cozy location, the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The food itself is pretty well portioned, it was pretty filling and was fairly balanced, just enough meat and vegetables. I think the parmiagana could have been crisper but it was still good. And their sandwiches also looked well portioned“

“Ordered a Hong Kong French toast. It was made to order. The wait wasn't too bad. Less than 15 mins. Tasted hot and fresh. Topped with butter and included a side cup of syrup. It came with an HK milk tea. Milk tea was top tier. Very hot, but I liked it! I could tell the tea wasn't old pre-made tea thats sitting aside, unlike some places. Combo total was around $12. Ate the food right away in the food court. I would return again!“

Unless you are a group of friends who want to stand around, this place is probably only good for the summer as you can hang outside and the nearby park. Otherwise, this is purely a takeout place.“

“Miss Lin Cafe is a fantastic find! I was looking for a calm spot to do some light computer work and catch up with a friend, and this place nailed it. The vibe is cool and relaxed, complete with soft jazz playing in the background. Because it’s a corner unit, the space is wide open and flooded with beautiful natural light.

The food is delicious and beautifully presented on cute dishes. They have an excellent selection of Taiwanese cafe favorites like shaved ice, tofu desserts, matcha, and fresh fruit teas—plus comforting hot options like their beef noodle soup special. It is the perfect place to either focus on work or rest and chat over sweets. Highly recommend!“

“This Tim Hortons is managed by local restaurant serving TD and other staff members located at 3500 Steeles. The staff is courteous and quick however at times the line up's can be very long. I try to get my coffee in the morning from outside coffee shops to avoid 15 to 20 minutes of wait time. They don't accept Tims gift cards and around lunch times the staffing is low on coffee side“

“The large gyro dinner was good, everything is there, but, look over to the right. That’s correct, that’s a buttered hot dog bun. I’ll be honest, I’m not mad, I’m just confused. Did your kitchen run out of pita bread? Someone could’ve just told me as I got my takeout order. I got back home to this. Otherwise the meal was great, just losing a star for not communicating to me about the hot dog bun replacement.“

“come here when i crave hk cafe food, i love their iced lemon tea for a dollar extra when you order with them, combo i think? i always order the signature baked chicken on rice with tomato sauce, which a drink comes with it but hot. the portion is good, usually feeds me twice for 14.50. plus the drink is iced so 15.5. great value for what you get!

“First time going to Starving Artist. It will not be our last. For those that like mashed potatoes, try the potato waffles eggs benny (B Benny). YUM!!!!

Service was wonderful and was able to handle a group of 10. We enjoyed the food, services, visit, and experience!

The plaza where the restaurant locate is busy during the day (say 11 am to 2pm), so parking there may be a challenge during these hours, especially during the weekends.“

“The present owner has many years of experience in the authentic Chinese cuisine in Hamilton,Ontario. We used to go to his Hamilton restaurant every weekends for at lest over 10 years until he moved to Markham.. Good food and service too.We really missed him.“
