Really enjoyed the tomato noodle soup. Also the popcorn chicken was delicious. Would try the dry noodles next time.

“I have been to the Downtown Chinatown location and now trying this Markham location. It's not easy to find a table here at the Markham location as it's constantly have so many people waiting and I don't want to lineup, so it took this long for me to dine here at the Markham location.

The food menu is pretty much the same as the Downtown Chinatown location.

This location is spacious, quite a number of tables and seating area. Modern, clean and brightly lit throughout the entire resto. Nice animated graphics on the walls.

We ordered pork intestines soup glass noodles and little dragon steam dumplings (xi lung bao) - 6 pieces in a steamy hot basket.

Little Dragon Dumplings:
- steamy hot
- juicy, good pork juice explode in your mouth

Pork Intestines Glass Noodles:
- good portion
- spicy
- no weird smell in the pork intestines, which are major bonus (quite a good amount of pork intestines).

If you can't eat spicy, you can ask for less spicy. Unfortunately, I asked if it could be mild, the staff said no, you can only ask for less spicy but it's can't be mild.

I wish they have more soup noodles variety as many soup noodles options consist of beef (which my parents don't eat beef).

Anyhow, food and service are great here. Staff constantly come over to ask if you need anything, they clean up the plate often, we asked for take-out box with no questions asked.

They accept credit card, which is a major plus.

I now understand why it's so popular coz it serves authentic Chinese food with good portion, and amazing pricing. I think their prices are so attractive, way cheaper than many other restaurants.

Soup Noodles at $9.99 CDN + tax, steam dumplings at $5.99 CDN, Cold appetizer ranges from $3.99 to $4.99 CDN and pan fried scallion pancake at $2.99 CDN, unheard of pricing in Toronto!

We will definitely come back to try more items. So many items that we want to try.“

“Always enjoyed the jumbo shrimp wontons here :) You can have them on their own or can choose to pair them with egg noodles, flat rice noodles, or vermicelli. The soymilk (hot/cold) or 王老吉 Asian drink is also a must order with the meal :)) The staff are usually older ladies, and they are so polite and courteous. You pay at the counter when you are done. They newly added some birds chirping as background noise, which some may find it therapeutic.“

“Tried Meetrice Noodle recently and really enjoyed the experience. They’re well known for their sour pickle fish noodle, and it didn’t disappoint. The rice noodles are freshly made — bouncy, chewy, and very satisfying.

You can choose between basa fish or snakehead fish, and the fish was very fresh and tender. A nice bonus is the free unlimited white rice or grain rice, which makes the meal even more filling.

We also tried their new stir-fried clams and razor clams — super flavorful and great with rice.

“Really enjoyed my meal at Xin Yi Time! It’s getting harder to find affordable meals these days, so I was surprised that most dishes here are under $13 while still giving such massive portions.

I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice and it tasted very authentic — super flavorful, well marinated, and nice and saucy. Every combo also comes with rice and 2 veggies, which makes it feel like a complete home-style meal.

The shop itself is small and simple, run by a friendly Asian auntie, which gives it a cozy homemade vibe. Definitely more of a takeout spot, but great for a quick affordable comfort meal. Would come back again!“

“This is my go-to joint for when I am craving Chinese food. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Always ready within minutes of ordering. Love their har gow, thai vermicelli chicken, beef flat rice noodles, spicy chicken, mango chicken, fried rice and spring/egg rolls. “I went there for the first time today to try out the taste.
These tastes feel very authentic and delicious
Although the garlic buns are a little burnt, they are still delicious.
The salad is very thin, the ham is delicious, and the salad dressing is not too much or too little.
The lamb chop is not too smelly and has a strong lamb flavor. The fish fillet is very tasty and the side dishes include broccoli, tomatoes and corn.
Spaghetti is tougher
Fried chicken wings, they have a leafy flavor and are fried enough to be crispy
The French fries are also very delicious and delicious.
Hong Kong-style milk tea is rich enough and the tea base is fragrant enough
I think it tastes better than the milk tea in Hong Kong.

The food was delightful, and my server was lovely. I asked for her recommendation (a mushroom, fried lotus root hot pot) and it was just gorgeous. She even had them make it less spicy for me.

“Yang's Braised Chicken Rice (Woodbine) is best known for its signature dish, Braised Chicken Rice. The braised chicken is tender and flavorful, better add some tufu skin and quail eggs，since there are so many add on you can choose，making it a perfect match for rice. Other dishes on the menu are considered average in terms of taste.“

“Their lamb soup was excellent, very flavorful and perfect for cold weather. The lamb skewers were also quite good, and the dry-fried lamb ribs were especially well seasoned and very tasty. I would definitely recommend those dishes.

However, I wouldn’t recommend the stewed beef flank with seaweed. Although I usually like eating seaweed, this one had too much soup, and the beef pieces were very tiny and broken up, so the texture wasn’t very satisfying.

Overall, there are many other delicious options on the menu, and the lamb dishes are definitely worth trying. Plus, their waitresses were quite friendly.“

Place is clean with about 5 to 6 large tables and many 4 seater and 2 seater tables. Washroom counter always seems really wet , no idea why. Pretty clean washrooms. “This restaurant is a great choice for winter weather, especially on very cold days. Lamb is good for health and helps keep people warm.

The soup and noodles are rich in flavor, but the lamb is quite tough and not easy to chew.

Hamburge: Not what we expected. The pork doesn’t taste very good and feels slightly undercooked.

“We tried the set menu for takeout that included 1 choice of seafood (lobster, crab, or steamed tilapia or green bass) plus a choice of either half a chicken in pieces or hand-shredded, with soup and rice. The price then ranges if you choose those base items plus a choice of 1-4 other dishes. We chose just 1 dish + the base items for $59.99, but 2 dishes is $69.99, 3 is $79.99, and 4 is $89.99. There are a wide range of dishes to choose from, including meat, vegetables, tofu, etc. Everything was good, especially for the price, and the portions were fairly generous. Rice and soup are proportionate to how many dishes you order.

The restaurant itself is pretty small, but there are a few larger tables, plus a small private room. They open late (until 1am). There is a decent amount of parking at the lot at Metro Square and Century Plaza, but it can get busy with all the eateries.“
