My very first memory of visiting this location goes back to when the Canadian government temporarily removed the HST to encourage people to support local businesses. Because of that special tax break, enjoying a meal here was way cheaper at the time. It is honestly too bad those ultra-affordable days are gone now that regular pricing has returned. However, even with the higher costs today, the incredible quality of the food makes it entirely worth returning to.“

“We decided to travel all the way here to satisfy our fish cravings. Lady staff was friendly and accomodating, making sure that the spiciness level is something we can tolerate. We ordered their signature fish; quite tasty and the portion was big enough to share for 2 persons.“

“So so so good! Serves vegetarian Chinese cuisine and most of them are vegan as well! Just be a little careful as the fried rice do contain egg. But the dishes, especially the mushroom stir fry and Thai fried rice are so aromatic and flavourful. You can tell that they have really made good use of its vegetables. The coconut milk sticky rice dessert is the cherry on top! It was so good that we asked the waiter for the recipe and she kindly explained it to us! That’s so sweet. “Tried Meetrice Noodle recently and really enjoyed the experience. They’re well known for their sour pickle fish noodle, and it didn’t disappoint. The rice noodles are freshly made — bouncy, chewy, and very satisfying.

You can choose between basa fish or snakehead fish, and the fish was very fresh and tender. A nice bonus is the free unlimited white rice or grain rice, which makes the meal even more filling.

We also tried their new stir-fried clams and razor clams — super flavorful and great with rice.

The space is clean and spacious, making it comfortable for families or groups. Overall, a solid spot for noodle and seafood lovers. Would definitely come back to try more dishes.“

“Really enjoyed my meal at Xin Yi Time! It’s getting harder to find affordable meals these days, so I was surprised that most dishes here are under $13 while still giving such massive portions.

I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice and it tasted very authentic — super flavorful, well marinated, and nice and saucy. Every combo also comes with rice and 2 veggies, which makes it feel like a complete home-style meal.

The shop itself is small and simple, run by a friendly Asian auntie, which gives it a cozy homemade vibe. Definitely more of a takeout spot, but great for a quick affordable comfort meal. Would come back again!“

“Congee on Commerce is our go to Chinese restaurant. Generous portions, quick service, and great prices. It is always busy and can get a bit noisy, but once you're eating it doesn’t really matter.

Great value, deliciously comforting, and the friendliest and most helpful service I've ever experienced at a food court. Would highly recommend this stall if visiting Pacific Mall.“

“This is my go-to joint for when I am craving Chinese food. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Always ready within minutes of ordering. Love their har gow, thai vermicelli chicken, beef flat rice noodles, spicy chicken, mango chicken, fried rice and spring/egg rolls. Also the owner is super sweet and packs chili oil for me every time, as she knows I love it with my food. :)“

The dim sum was great and they have a special where the small/medium/large dishes are all small price.

All of the dishes were well done. The special bbq pork buns and octopus tentacles were especially good.“

“Came in the morning 10am of a long weekend. Quickly seated by the staff. The food quality is varies. Shrimp dumplings rice roll and radish cake were good and more toward the traditional taste. The 凤爪chicken feet was sweet to me and the flavor was not I usually had. The biggest joke was the dry scallop seafood soup dumpling. The skin was totally broken, therefore it served like a soup more like a dumpling. Lol. And there was not a taste of dry scallop at all. Do not recommend this dish to anyone.
The service, on the other hand, was the best among most of the Chinese dim sum places I went to in Toronto. There is always someone around you to take care your need and the response is quick and considerable. I really appreciated that.“

“Order 2 different bowls of noodles for early dinner. Food taste good, except the beef in the noodle soup have a lot of fat which I don't personally like. Whatake this place standout is the washroom: there are signs that tell people to put toilet paper in the trash instead of flushing down the toilet. Imagine sitting on the toilet only to smell foul stench of stinky poop, and possibly flies because people follow their directions.“

“I come here often, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a fairly big menu with lots of variety. Service and food is always excellent. I would say this is one of the best restaurants in this plaza.

“This is one of the Chinese north western halal restaurants franchise in Toronto. I had visit this franchise in other location and general speaking, they are good at what they are doing.
The meat were tasty and full of spices. Due to the current inflation, the portion definitely shrinked a lot (lol). For one for the chicken soft bone, that is a 7 bucks dish and we only get a handful of soft bone as per the photo.
And the chicken stew with potato, the portion had gone down too.
May come back in the future when every thing not that expensive.“

“For some of the most authentic dumplings please indulge yourself here! They have variety and the staff is very friendly. It is quite a sight to watch them making them from scratch. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the food and kept asking where we had ordered it from. There was more than enough for everyone, and many of our guests were even able to take leftovers home.

“Great place to play Billiards its really clean and they use disinfectants to clean the tables and everything else. I enjoyed my time here even before the pandemic and the waiters and staff are great to. The food and drinks were great. Friends liked the place to. Blindfold me with earplugs, and I'd still find my way to this restaurant, as the unmistakable aroma of stinky tofu is perceptible a mile away. The aroma is actually much more pungent than its taste, and the mouthwatering savoury and salty taste accompanies a light crisp on the golden exterior and a moist, airy interior. It was a wonderful appetizer to the heartwarming bowl of hand-pulled noodles, each strand having a satisfying bounciness that soaks up the beefy, pickled broth with pickled mustard wonderfully. The slices of lean beef are surprisingly tender, but the tendons melt into a gooey, creamy texture in your mouth and release a delicious beefy aroma. Also, the douban chili oil that you can scoop as much as you want? Literal crack.“

“The best dumplings I have ever had in Toronto for ten years! I was so impressed by the flavour and chewy thin wrap! It is not salty like other restaurants. The stuffing seems pretty good without artificial ingredients like MSG etc! I was very very happy with it! The size is big too! Please keep as it is. “Their lamb soup was excellent, very flavorful and perfect for cold weather. The lamb skewers were also quite good, and the dry-fried lamb ribs were especially well seasoned and very tasty. I would definitely recommend those dishes.

However, I wouldn’t recommend the stewed beef flank with seaweed. Although I usually like eating seaweed, this one had too much soup, and the beef pieces were very tiny and broken up, so the texture wasn’t very satisfying.

Overall, there are many other delicious options on the menu, and the lamb dishes are definitely worth trying. Plus, their waitresses were quite friendly.“

“Me and my family where searching for somewhere to eat with this place being the nearest in the area.

My dad and I grabbed the two meal for two while my mom grabbed a tuna sandwich.

I had the Malaysian curry chicken which was good. A good spice with some good juicy chicken and roasted potatoes. My only complaint it is rather one note with its taste (being spicy) but I love spicy and I wish there were more vegetables/rice.

My dad got the porkchop in egg sauce and my mom had the tuna sandwich. I tasted some of the porkchop which was good, very soft in taste but lacking flavor even when covered in the sauce. My mom liked the tuna sandwich but couldn't finish all of it so we took the rest home.

With the two meal for two, it comes with red bean ice drink but I opted for a Hong Kong style milk tea which was nice.

Pretty decent for Hong Kong fast food, with it being rather affordable. Quite a good selection especially with desserts, would recommend.“

“Its a little pricey and fried rice dishes seem small but taste is very good and dumplings are great. Service is good as well. Place is clean with about 5 to 6 large tables and many 4 seater and 2 seater tables. Washroom counter always seems really wet , no idea why. Pretty clean washrooms. We frequent this establishment about once a month“
