“My friend likes the fried skewers shop, I came here to try something new today, it’s pretty good. The fried skewers taste very crispy, and the meat skewers are tender, juicy and not dry! The spicy taste was just right for us! The boiled pork slices really go well with rice ? Recommended!“

“Food/sauce is very flavorful, atmosphere is great and you can watch him making the noodles. What’s not to like?? Oh yeah and the cat robot that delivered our appetizers was awesome! We’re here at noon on a Monday and I can’t believe this place isn’t packed; with this delicious food it should be. We’re on vacation but I wish they had one in Charleston! Two thumbs way up!!“

“Yum ?
I love spicy food but not in love with chili oil. But their dish was spicy yet yummy. I read a few reviews that mentioned that it's too spicy. If you enjoy Korean food or malatang, malashangua, you won't find it spicy. It was actually perfect for me. Most of the dishes are spicy, so check if you're with kids. Despite this, I did find some dishes that aren't spicy.
Price was great, and service ? I do wish to come back. Hope they keep all good as it is now.“

“Phoenix is hands down my favorite Hakka/Fusion restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, but the real star of the menu is their chilli chicken or chilli fish. Both have just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, and the service is always friendly and efficient. While they only offer takeout, Phoenix never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone craving great Hakka cuisine!“

“Great hidden AYCE hotpot place.
Tons of options at reasonable prices. Crab and lobster aren't fresh, but you're boiling them anyways.
Like how they include a free drink with your meal
Tomato and pork bone soup bases were our default choices and worked out great with the meats available“

“A small restaurant located in a strip mall.
If you're into dumplings, this is a dumpling gem of a place.
They have many varieties, I went with their celery dumplings and crab meat soup dumplings.
Started off with their black fungus salad seasoned with minced garlic & coriander, add some black vinegar to flavor it up. Very refreshing as the fungus was fresh and crunchy.
Celery dumplings had excellent texture/flavor, celery was firm and crunchy bursting with liquid with each ferocious bite..
Crab meat soup dumplings were the stars of the dumpling show. Crabmeat flavor profile was noticeable, soup plentiful. Protip- pick up dumpling, put on spoon. bit off top of dumpling to avoid losing any hot soup, suck soup out of dumpling, enjoy the rest of the crab dumpling.
No need to thank me for this wonderful dining experience.“

“The BBQ lamb, lamp leg, chicken, pork belly and shrimp are very good and tasty, they can make that not too hot. Also the spicy roasted fish bowl is big and served with tofu and noodle🤤, the spicy boiled beef w/vegetable and the spicy boiled fish must try, because the hot level is not that crazy and 😋. Love the steamed dumpling hand make in house kitchen. Will come back👍🏻👍🏻“

“The modern atmosphere is beautiful as you're eating delicious handmade soup dumplings. The wallpaper and lights are beautiful. You have to order online by scanning a QR code on your phone. You can make special dietary changes, they're very flexible. There's not much interaction with the employees. It's almost completely empty and quiet. The food makes me speechless. It's exactly the perfect amount of savory. I definitely recommend coming here“

“This was a fantastic experience, one of the best noodle dishes I’ve had in a long time. The Liangpi was sooo fresh, soft, bouncy, chewy, and just the right amount of spice. Absolutely blown away how good it was. Also ordered the Lamb Mo and it was unreal, sooo simple, sooo good! This place is a hidden gem for sure!“

“Arrived slightly before 12PM with my girlfriend and managed to get our names first on the waitlist. Promptly after, it started getting packed with tons of people signing up for the waitlist. Was very surprised to see how busy it was on a Wednesday afternoon at opening.
We both went for the $26.99 AYCE lunch special. Soup bases are included in the price and you can choose up to 2 different bases. Items to choose from were a bit limited from a protein perspective, but we were more than happy to inhale beef brisket slices and seafood. Veggies and sides were great too. Ice cream cone at the end was great and the perfect way to end the meal. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the Hokkaido pudding.
Service was exceptional. Staff members were very attentive, consistently topping up our soup pots, pouring water for us, and getting our food orders. Seating time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Ample time in my opinion.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Daimaru. I highly recommend it, especially for their lunch special. We both ate for just under $60 including a tip!“

“Ordered the double meat beef chow mein on Uber eats and a jar of their chili oil. I ordered noodles that were way too big(they have pics of the noodle size on their menu, make sure you check before you order!) regardless the food was delicious, the noodles have a great chew and the beef is very tasty and tender, perfectly seasoned. No pics because I inhaled the meal. Very happy, I think this is gonna be my new go-to spot, excited to try the rest of the menu.“

“I went there at noon, and the food was okay. In fact, it was not full of customers, and there were still some empty tables. However, the two waiters were so busy that they asked me to buy some for a long time. When they finally came over, they gave me the bill. They knew that they had to swipe their cards. , the waiter went back to get the card machine. Can't you be a little more efficient and bring the credit card machine with you? !“

“People who like Authentic North American Chinese food will absolutely Love this place. They offer Outstanding food with Amazing taste. At Night time the plaza is not the best environment. There is a bar located at this Plaza and it should be shut down, the people who attend this Bar are careless and very inconsiderate. But the Chinese Restaurant Tim choi is very Much worth every Dollar 💯💯💯“

“A small family restaurant, decoration is below average but the place is clean and quiet, seats are comfortable. Very delicious food and warm greeting from the owner. The baing baing noodle is tasty, I love it, but a bit spicy and oily for elders in my family. Everyone love the beef brisket noodle and the lamb paomo. Oh and most importantly, price is pretty low if you dine in. Overall enjoyable and will definitely come again.“

“Hole in the wall hidden gem for nofrills chinese food. Tucked away in a tiny plaza, ordered the mushroom efu noodles which was a bit plain but their salad fish and chicken fried rice was absolutely delicious!
With most items being under $10 its hard to find a better deal for classic Chinese dishes. Definitely going to go back to try more dishes!“

“Hand slaughtered halal, and can't beat the 6.65$ price for a loaded small noodle! I got non-spicy noodle with ginger chicken and sweet n sour chicken. LOTS of spicy chicken, spicy rice, and spicy noodle options.
Very good service, good portions, and the prices are not bad. I think its a husband/wife running the shop!
They seem very clean and considerate of cross contamination and don't handle your money with the same gloves. The food tastes great and they aren't stingy.
Plenty of places to eat in the old-style mall food court in front. Its the go-to spot for the high schoolers during the lunch hour.“

“This place is hard to describe because it might sound like a paid ad. The atmosphere of this restaurant is like a cozy 90s Chinese restaurant that all locals would go to for their family events. The food is classic, with a heaping amount of ingredients (Seafood Fried Rice had more shrimps, pieces of scallops, and squid than 99% of Chinese restaurants in Scarborough), and the service is perfection. The main serving gentleman serves and greets everyone and radiates family restaurant hospitality energy that you see in the 90s movies. This is the first restaurant that I am returning to due to the service being so stellar.“

“Finally able to try this hard to find dish “味菜牛柳絲” (Shredded Beef Tenderloin w/Pickled Green) in Canada. It’s a very rare and hard to find dish, even in Hong Kong. I’m so glad this restaurant has this dish in their menu. I’ll be back soon and try more!!!“

“How can you go wrong for $5? Located inside the cafeteria, for just $5 cash you can get a meat, rice, veggies, and a soup.
We sat for about 10-15 minutes to eat right next to the store and it had a constant lineup of people. Being across from Yee Hong, a lot of seniors seemed to be coming to eat here. If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me!“

“I used to really like this restaurant but today's meal was awful. The wontons in the soup were all mushy, and the broth was like a thin gravy. The General Tao with noodles wasn't appetizing either. The batter on the chicken was mushy instead of crispy and the sauce was nothing like the sweet heat that is General Tao and the noodles were drenched in the disgusting sauce. The meal tasted as if it was poorly made days before and then reheated.
Very disappointing.“

“Awesome restaurant in non-desceipt area. Gem of a find. All boiled dumplings were great. The fennel were particularly outstanding. Ordered beef and onion for something simple, and it was delicious and flavourful. Even my picky toddler are some. For the English menu, don't be deceived by the "with chili" description. Each dish uses chili but has a different flavour. We ordered the shrimp house special (absolutely outstanding and our favourit dish so far), shrimps-deep fried chili (shell on, I don't know how they did it but it's thin and flavourful and easy to eat it), spicy crawfish and sliced fish in hot chili oil. Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“It’s a nice place with unique meats and noodles. The soup doesn’t have a strong smell of Chinese herbs as you might imagine; it’s flavorful! And, the Chinese bread/Chinese burgers are sooo good! The owner makes them himself, and as other have shared, he cares about who and what he serves.“

“Chinese comfort food
Hidden in the corner but worth the find! The pan-fried pork buns are always freshly made, crispy at the bottom, juicy inside — comfort food at its best. The price is super student-friendly, and the auntie at the counter is always warm and welcoming. If you’re craving Northern Chinese street-style snacks, this little stall is a cozy slice of home.“

“Chai Kee has similar style as the previous Jim Chai Kee in Richmond hill. The difference is that this one is self served style with a famous speciality - pork liver noodle. Pork liver is something you cannot make it well and at Chai Kee, it is very well made. Their menu is somewhat specialized a beef, pork liver and fish ball (more like fresh fish paste) . They have nice noodles , deep fried fish skin and for some reason, they have condensed milk toast with milk tea. I have been there at least four times :) At the beginning , it was very crowded but now it is a nice busy pace. I love their pork liver and beef noodle . I also had fish ball and liver noodle too. What I liked about them: 1. Amazing price 2. Good food and the pork liver is amazing 3. Very clean 4. Nice service So I’d recommend chai Kee for a good wholesome noodle place For an amazing price“

“I 've been to this place 3 days ago with 4 of my friends. We ordered sweet and sour pork with pineapple; Pork belly with preserved vegetables and Chinese sausage sticky rice. The quality of all dishes are better than what I expected. What I appreciate most is that they didn't put too much MSG onto the food like other restaurants do and overall the price is economical low. The only downside is we needs some patience to look for a space to park our car.“
