“Almost 5/5, but honestly the most impressive Northern Chinese food in GTA.
Guo bao rou was the best I’ve had in a while. It’s really soft yet crispy and chewy.
The noodle was of great quality but just not my preference. For Koreans, the sauce tastes like 된장+쌈장.
Also ordered yang chow fried rice, but it was made out of a very fresh-out-of-cooker rice with expected ingredients missing - shrimp, pork, etc. Didn’t taste ‘bad’ but definitely home-y taste.
Regardless, I will be back for sure for the guo bao rou!!!“

“Food here is amazing. They have curry chicken, general tao, fried rice, noodles
And much more. Every time I'm at the flea market to visit our local magic store, I come and eat here.
Service is great. Very clean and very friendly. And the best part is it's very well priced“

“An interesting juxtaposition of a nice, clean, well run Persian lounge, with someone in the back who clearly knows what they're doing with pasta. The food was great. Pasta was done perfectly, presented nicely with some unique flair, al dente and served hot. We had the vodka (Romanoff) , and truffle(I don't remember the names it was the last on the list) pastas. We were both impressed with the quality and flavour richness. We were there early on a Friday evening, the only other customers were smoking on hookahs (we weren't bothered by it, I don't think I noticed it in the air), and perhaps having a drink. It was easy to park right in front. The restaurant is located in the corner of the outdoor strip mall, a few doors down from Subway, in the World on Yonge complex. A nice find in the neighborhood.“

“My family and I used to eat at the Metro location very frequently, probably 10 years ago, but since then I became gluten intolerant (not celiac) and we haven’t been back since. For some reason this place popped into my mind today, and I looked at their menu and knew I could at least eat a few things there (minus the noodles and dumplings), and was content with my options so we tried it today, and I was so pleased that everything tasted very similar to how I remembered it to be 10 years ago!
We ordered the shredded cucumber & pork w/starch sheets (could use a bit more meat), the sliced pork belly w/garlic soy sauce (I think it used to have more cilantro on top), the sauced beef slices (same sauce & garlic as the pork belly, but no cilantro on top), vegetable & sliced pork noodle soup (we love their thick and chewy noodles, but it used to have more tomatoes and cucumbers), and the pork wonton (which comes in a delicious clear broth with little tiny shrimps and seaweed…there used to be a lot more seaweed, but the soup still tasted the same as 10 years ago).
We will definitely be going back to this spot to try some other more gluten friendly dishes like their vermicelli’s and other cold dishes. We also will check out the Metro location as well since it’s more convenient for us, but the Metro location is much smaller.“

“Not my first time here and there's a reason I come back.
Underrated place for good 짜장면 (jjajangmyun - Black Bean Noodles) and 짬뽕 (jjamppong - Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup).
It's in a food court, so during busier times, it might be harder to find a table, but didn't have any issues today.
Ordering is easy, but choosing what to order is the difficult part.
Once you have ordered, you get a pager which notifies you when your food is ready. You can let them know if you would like to dine-in or takeout. Because I also ordered the combo which included 탕수육 (Sweet & Sour Pork), I asked for my order in takeout containers since I knew I wouldn't finish everything. My meal still came out on a tray so I could eat at a table with my friends.
After eating, you just return your tray to the tray cart labelled with the restaurants's name on it.
Portion sizes are fair and priced appropriately. Food is also very tasty, even better than some restaurants nearby.
The staff are friendly and helpful as well.“

“We always get their food for take out when we are craving Chinese take out ! The guy who takes the order is always friendly but their food is Amazing ! We usually order their mushroom fried rice, Jar Do Wings, egg drop soup and egg rolls. Their food is always fresh and packed well so it doesn’t spill. I hope they remain opened for a long time.“
“I’ve ordered twice now from uber eats. The ratings are so low for them on google but Manchuwok is my fav Chinese food! Whenever I order food from literally any Chinese place, they NEVER give me enough hot sauce. I always ask and sometimes I’ll even add a soda or side item and in the notes say “don’t give me this item, please give hot sauces instead, this is the charge for the sauces” and they still won’t do it! But this location has both times given me the amount of sauces I asked for & I didn’t have to pay extra. The also pack your food to the rim and don’t just shove the container in a brown bag, they wrap it nicely into a plastic bag first. You can tell they care about their service! Will definitely order from them again :)“

“Tian Xin Place was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Service was fast, the menu had the usual favorites, and everything came out fresh and exactly as expected—simple, satisfying, and no surprises. Portions were decent for the price, and it’s an easy, convenient spot when you want something reliable without a long wait.“

“To be honest, my first visit here was disappointing due to the service and the food, so I stopped coming. However, a friend recently had a gathering here and mentioned that it had improved, so we decided to try it again. We ordered the set menu with sizzling rice soup, yuringi, jjajangmyeon, and fried rice. The food came out hot, and the quality was better than before. The sizzling rice soup had a good amount of seafood and vegetables. The yuringi was crispy and went well with the sauce. Both the jjajangmyeon and fried rice were decent. The service has improved compared to our first experience, and the portions are large. The restaurant is clean and parking is convenient. I would consider coming back for a casual Korean Chinese meal.“

“I ordered the bbq and crispy rice one and it was so good. The portion was generous, the BBQ was flavorful and tender, and the crispy chicken had that perfect crunchy texture. Everything was well-seasoned without being too salty or oily. Definitely worth it!“
