“If you're looking for a genuine taste of Northeastern Chinese cooking in a place where every dish is made with care and served in generous portions, look no further than Tao's Chinese Kitchen.
As a lover of bold flavors and satisfying meals, I was absolutely blown away. The Stewed Pork Hock is a must-order—sliced thin and served cold, it's incredibly flavorful and melts in your mouth. The spicy Black Fungus salad is moreish in the best way, with a kick that makes it impossible to stop eating. For a main, the Braised Beef Noodle Soup is a standout; the broth is rich, the beef is tender, and the noodles have that perfect bouncy, chewy texture that makes the dish. The Yangzhou Fried Rice was a hit at our table, full of wok-hei and expertly cooked.
Be prepared for the true Northeastern experience: the portions are enormous! Our group of four left feeling wonderfully full and satisfied, having shared just a few dishes. Seeing their special New Year celebration pack on offer shows they care about tradition, and the fact it's filled with their signature braised meats tells you everything about their quality.
Between the authentic flavors, the hearty serving sizes, and the welcoming feel, this place has quickly become a favorite. Highly recommend for anyone craving a delicious, filling, and utterly satisfying Chinese meal.“

“Food here is amazing. They have curry chicken, general tao, fried rice, noodles
And much more. Every time I'm at the flea market to visit our local magic store, I come and eat here.
Service is great. Very clean and very friendly. And the best part is it's very well priced“

“An interesting juxtaposition of a nice, clean, well run Persian lounge, with someone in the back who clearly knows what they're doing with pasta. The food was great. Pasta was done perfectly, presented nicely with some unique flair, al dente and served hot. We had the vodka (Romanoff) , and truffle(I don't remember the names it was the last on the list) pastas. We were both impressed with the quality and flavour richness. We were there early on a Friday evening, the only other customers were smoking on hookahs (we weren't bothered by it, I don't think I noticed it in the air), and perhaps having a drink. It was easy to park right in front. The restaurant is located in the corner of the outdoor strip mall, a few doors down from Subway, in the World on Yonge complex. A nice find in the neighborhood.“

“I have not been here for a while, but the owner is still the same and the food are still great. If you are looking for a dumpling place and don't know where to go?? Well here it is. Come over and try it. You will like it. All dumplings are hand made and not a lot of places are making hand made dumplings anymore..... It's a good family restaurant“

“Food was delicious, fresh and delivered hot. Excellent value and the lady who took our order was very helpful and made sure everything was correct. We were looking for a new Chinese take out as our usual went through ownership and name change and the quality went with it. I think we may have found our new take out in the General!“
“Surprised the bot responding to comments never actually passed the feedback to the staff since they weren’t aware until I showed them a few months ago. They seemed to be implementing the feedback since and the food has been so good lately. The staff are always so kind and I enjoy supporting them when im at promenade“

“As a Qi Gong Master, I am very sensitive to the energy (Qi) in my food. While I usually stick to a gluten-free diet to keep my system clear, I felt drawn to try these ($9.99) homemade noodles in a food court..
There is a profound difference between machine-made and handmade food to me. The black bean sauce with minced pork os
was balanced and clean. I could hear the staff speaking Korean to the chef, which preserved the authentic frequency of the dish. It wasn't overly salty or spicy, it didn't agitate the body’s fire - heat.
A rare find for under $10. Even for those of us who are careful with gluten, the high-vibration 'homemade' quality makes a world of difference in how the body absorbs the energy.“

“Tian Xin Place was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Service was fast, the menu had the usual favorites, and everything came out fresh and exactly as expected—simple, satisfying, and no surprises. Portions were decent for the price, and it’s an easy, convenient spot when you want something reliable without a long wait.“

“Potions are huge; a small dish size is already enough for 3-4 people. Prices are very affordable considering the portion it serves (Overall grade: B+).
Food:
1. The sweet & sour pork is too dry and hard (Grade: D)
2. The Fooringi/deep-fried chicken is very tasty. The skins are crispy like chips, and it sounds “chap” in every bite. I like it and will definitely come back for it (Grade: A+)
3. The jjajangmyeon (noodles) is also very tasty (Grade: A)“

“I ordered the bbq and crispy rice one and it was so good. The portion was generous, the BBQ was flavorful and tender, and the crispy chicken had that perfect crunchy texture. Everything was well-seasoned without being too salty or oily. Definitely worth it!“
