“This place is absolutely cozy and wonderful. The food is cheap but quality is above and beyond what you could expect. Very cozy familiar atmosphere where you can talk with your love ones over some delicious food and have a wonderful time here. Staff are so friendly and amazing. Food came quite fast and the noodle soups are absolutely so fresh you can litterally smell the freshness when it's brought out. I also had some delicious garlic wings and the pork tender mo and I can't be more excited to eat here again. They also have take out containers so no food goes to waste. 10/10 will definitely come again“

“This cafe has been one of our family‘s favouite and we used to go there for almost everyday Saturday for dinner.

Its setting is not very large and consists of around 10+ tables of various sizes and they were placed very close to each other. It can hardly for 2 pesons to get through them at the same time. Like the traditional cafe, apart from the main menu on the table, the special dishes were posted up around all the walls to catch the customers‘ attention.

As observed, there is always a long queue of people waiting for the tables during the dinner time. Hence, it’s better to make reservation beforehand.

As referenced from its main menu, it offered a lot of meal choices with various cooking styles. This time, we ordered a dinner combo of 8 dishes including fried eggs with scallops, sweet and sour pork ribs, beef stews, chicken, fried fish, vegetables, etc. Soup and dessert were complimentary. Consistenty, all these dishes were well pepared and delcious.

Apart from the fact that the food is good, its servers were also polite, friendly and helpful. Though the cafe is somehow quite crowded, its food and service were highly satisfactory. One must definitely have a try.“

Some days, the food is too soft, like the har cow just falls apart and hard to pick up, same as the siu mai. Dinner time, the food is pretty good. But I’ve only been there once for dinner.
Service is decent. You have to go find them or wave them down a few times to get them to come to you. Would definitely recommend to try. It’s just a regular dim sum place like everywhere else. Nothing special but still good!“

I am vegan, and the options for me were quite limited, but I managed. One of my friends is gluten intolerant, and unfortunately she could only have a small portion of steamed vegetables. “I came to this place out of pure curiosity, and I'm glad I didn't read the reviews until after I sat down, because what I experienced left me completely shocked. I ate a lot of this food when I was young, then drifted into all the trendy food-entertainment stuff, and this did exactly the opposite: the old dependable, hitting the spot the way childhood food should.

Nothing fancy, just low oil, low salt, no shortcuts, no Heinz ketchup or food colouring in the sweet and sour pork, and real technique in every dish. The owner waited on us himself and treated us like family, and even the fish tanks were spotless, which tells you everything about how they run the kitchen. It's disappointing that people don't realize the damage venting online does to a hardworking family business like this one. The place was packed with line-ups out the door, and it's a real disservice to the aunties and uncles serving families day after day.

“Came here for dim sum brunch. The place was already packed by the time we arrived.

The Rice Roll with Shrimp and Crispy Crepe was delicious. Loved the contrast in texture - soft rice rolls on the outside with a crispy layer inside. And it went perfectly with the sweet soy sauce.

The Shrimp Dumplings were great too, with a big chunk of shrimp meat in each dumpling.

The Durian Pastry was also a highlight. The pastry was crispy on the outside (though a bit greasy), and there was a good amount of durian filling inside.

The Steamed Bun with Egg Yolk Custard was exactly what I was hoping for. The custard had a grainy texture with a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness - love it.

The BBQ Pork Pastry was also tasty - multi-layer pastry packed with sweet minced BBQ pork. Pretty good.

The black tea was nice too.

Overall, it was a great spot for dim sum. Just make sure to come early if you plan to have brunch here over the weekend.

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.

The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.

I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.

Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.

I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.

Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.

They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)

It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.

It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.

I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.

But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“
