“This place is absolutely cozy and wonderful. The food is cheap but quality is above and beyond what you could expect. Very cozy familiar atmosphere where you can talk with your love ones over some delicious food and have a wonderful time here. Staff are so friendly and amazing. Food came quite fast and the noodle soups are absolutely so fresh you can litterally smell the freshness when it's brought out. I also had some delicious garlic wings and the pork tender mo and I can't be more excited to eat here again. They also have take out containers so no food goes to waste. 10/10 will definitely come again“

“Everything about our dinner was fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and every single one was delicious.

The shrimp dumplings were a highlight for the table, served beautifully in a bamboo steamer with a vibrant orange garnish on top. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the portion sizes were generous enough for everyone to enjoy. We had such a wonderful time eating here and will definitely be back soon.“

We also ordered the Cucumber Salad with Garlic and Vinegar to cool things down between bites and it was the perfect pairing. After the noodles came, my perspectives changed right away. The noodle soup is a bit sweet, very savoury, very nutty and very fragrant. LOTS of veggies(Chinese broccoli) they put in there. Noodle Texture is not as dense and slurpy , but the flavour makes up for it. 100% will come back for more.“

She was not Asian may be Iranian or Afghan but when it was time to pay she selected the tip option herself and quickly took my card to tap. When I got the receipt it showed tip was already added. We were 3 and we ordered one Casserole rice and a hotpot. The casserole rice is very good and crunchy. A must try at this place. For the hot pot we ordered the herbal chicken soup base that was very very good. The rest of the hot pot ingredients were also fresh and tasty.

“The first time I went, they weren’t busy. Now they’re very popular. Back then, they weren’t very welcoming if you didn’t speak the language.

One thing they consistently do well is the food🤭it has tasted great every time I’ve visited. However, recently the prices have gone up a lot. At these prices, you could have a decent BBQ meal, while this place is really more of a snack restaurant.

If you’re wondering what to order, I’d recommend the noodles and some of the side dishes.

We moved recently into the area but were going to order from a place further away, that was tried and true. But, then there was a snow storm and no way did I want to drive so far in this weather. But we are very picky about dishes. The chicken balls have to have big chunks of chicken with just a nice coating of batter. The lo mein needs to be free of any veggies, but still have flavour. We actually received sweet and sour chicken, instead of sweet and sour chicken balls. So when I called, our incorrect item was rectified immediately. We were given two orders of the chicken balls (even though I promised one would suffice), but the restaurant insisted. Crazy thing though, we all loved the sweet and sour chicken as well. But. It’s the chicken balls that can make or break our opinion, and that’s why I really wanted to try them.

“Came here for dim sum brunch. The place was already packed by the time we arrived.

The Rice Roll with Shrimp and Crispy Crepe was delicious. Loved the contrast in texture - soft rice rolls on the outside with a crispy layer inside. And it went perfectly with the sweet soy sauce.

The Shrimp Dumplings were great too, with a big chunk of shrimp meat in each dumpling.

The Durian Pastry was also a highlight. The pastry was crispy on the outside (though a bit greasy), and there was a good amount of durian filling inside.

The Steamed Bun with Egg Yolk Custard was exactly what I was hoping for. The custard had a grainy texture with a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness - love it.

The BBQ Pork Pastry was also tasty - multi-layer pastry packed with sweet minced BBQ pork. Pretty good.

The black tea was nice too.

Overall, it was a great spot for dim sum. Just make sure to come early if you plan to have brunch here over the weekend.
