“Waited for about 45-1 hour but definitely worth it. All the staff can speak Chinese and English so you wouldn’t have to worry about a language barrier. All the food was delicious, there was spicy and non spicy but all good. Very happy after going here.“

“Food is mid, 3/5. There are better noodles in the area but this is not bad for the price. We tried the dry noodles and braised beef noodles with soup as well as a few cold dishes.
Service is excellent though - very quick and they gave me a hair tie, bib and basket for my jacket and bag.“

“Ling was the best host, and I’ll like to say I’ve never gotten service like this in my life. She was so personable, easy going and made us feel relaxed.
The food was really good too. She accommodated our adjustment as well.We enjoyed every bit of it.

“The specials baos are so fresh and tasty 10/10. Personally I preferred the special bun versus the curry one.
Also ordered the wonton noodles and pork belly noodle soup which had a nice light broth.
The only adventurous dish we tried was the dough fritter with soy milk which was something that I was not used to eating as it tasted a bit bland.“

“We had the sauerkraut fish, chicken wings, fried rice, potato salad, and cucumber salad. The fish, chicken wings, and fried rice were all really good, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that both salads were a little too oily for our liking. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our meal.“

“Paik's Noodle is one of the most well-known Korean Chinese fusion restaurants in Korea. It got popular because of the tasty food with a cheaper price. It was pretty crowded but the restaurant was spacious and pleasant and the servers were very kind. I had the typical combo: Jajangmyeon, Champong, and Tangsooyuk. Tangsooyuk was as good as what I had in Korea. I think a lot of people will have different views on the taste of Champong but it was worth trying. The soup totally wad different from before and changed completely to smoky taste! I enjoyed this restaurant overall and would definitely come back.“

“My first time here. A friend of mine brought me for lunch. I had the spicy beef rib with wide noodles, the cold tripe salad, beef skewers and the shredded pork on bun. I would definitely recommend this spot. I will definitely come back with my wife.“

“Ordered for take out after a long day of moving furniture and this is exactly what we needed. The meal was filling and portions plentiful, meaning lots of leftovers!! The beef ho fun was my standout dish. Although a bit more expensive than the usual Chinese we get, it was worthwhile.“

“Not normally a fan of Northern Chinese food that usually have a lot of offals, but I saw they had a pork knuckle meal that is only $11.99 and I do love me some pork knuckle.
Holy value for money, you get a ton of food for that $12. Pork knuckle, cabbage, pickled mustard greens, tofu, rice and half a tea egg. All for $12. The rice was made really well too (not mushy).
The wife wanted to try the half/half meal which had half knuckle and half intestines ($12.99). I tried a piece and it only confirmed to me that I do not like intestines 😂. The pork knuckle can be a bit heavy as some people have noted. But at these prices how can you go wrong.
We were able to order online ahead and paid when we picked up. Will definitely order from here again the next time we're looking for some cheap eats!“

“Came here for a late-night dinner and love that they’re open 24 hours! It’s so convenient when you’re looking for food at odd hours.
We ordered the pickled cabbage fish noodles, naengmyeon, chicken cartilage skewers, and house special pork steamed buns. We also got a free sausage through the Fantuan app, which was a nice bonus!
My favourite was definitely the chicken cartilage skewers! They also offer complimentary rice, pickled vegetables, beef soup, and drinks, which is a great plus.
Overall, a satisfying late-night meal with plenty of options. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!“

“Came in late around 9pm and were seated immediately. Ordered the 108 set for a group of four. There were some things that looked to be little eggs from some bug on one of the vegetables as we finished the dish. It wasn’t a big deal, but the waitress apologized and compensated us for it. “Lived in the neighborhood for 40 years and just found this little gem hidden away, I never knew it was there after all these years. Mandarin at Yonge and Eglinton just closed down so finding this place couldn't have come at a better time. Although I wish I had known about it long before now.“

“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. “Almost 5/5, but honestly the most impressive Northern Chinese food in GTA.
Guo bao rou was the best I’ve had in a while. It’s really soft yet crispy and chewy.
The noodle was of great quality but just not my preference. For Koreans, the sauce tastes like 된장+쌈장.
Also ordered yang chow fried rice, but it was made out of a very fresh-out-of-cooker rice with expected ingredients missing - shrimp, pork, etc. Didn’t taste ‘bad’ but definitely home-y taste.
Regardless, I will be back for sure for the guo bao rou!!!“

“Although the restaurant is small, it feels very warm and cozy. The rice noodles taste great, and the soup is rich and flavorful. They also offer some Yunnan snacks, such as beef pancakes, which I order every time. I often come here for a bowl of rice noodles after playing badminton nearby—it’s very satisfying and relaxing.“

“Been to this dumpling house for a few times. The noodle and dumplings will not let you down. Traditional authentic taste. Especially the soup filled dumplings (Siu Long Bao) it is better than the other one at First Markham Place. The pan fired dumplings (pot sticker) as well as the mince pork Peking sauce noodle is my other favorite.“

“We stopped by Congee Wong a few days ago while we were out sightseeing downtown and ended up having a really nice lunch. My husband got the roast duck congee and couldn't stop talking about how rich the broth was, while I loved the beef brisket noodles. The staff were friendly and patient with us even though we asked a lot of questions about the menu, and the place had a cozy, no-fuss atmosphere that made us want to linger. We're already planning to go back next time we're in Toronto.“

“The restaurant was recommended by a friend for the best wings. They are not drizzled in a sauce . It is a light well seasoned batter. The large ranges from $17 for about 12-14 wings . The atmosphere is more like a bar. You can just order ahead and pick up. Located in a strip plaza at the corner of Jane and Sheppard. Great Island music and 80's-90's R&B when I was there on a Friday night.“

“Located inside the Shops on Steeles and 404 shopping mall. $12.40 for a generous portion of Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Stir-Fried Vegetables.
The taste and flavour are surprisingly good too. The Fried Rice had a hint of wok hei. The Sweet & Sour Chicken had a balanced sweet, sour and salty combination. The vegetables are crisp and well flavoured.
The item choices are warm because they're displayed in a food warmer. The Sweet & Sour Chicken wasn't crispy because it had been pre-mixed with the sauce.“

“I had a wonderful experience at this cozy and welcoming place. They offer a great variety of seafood and desserts, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
It was my birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised by their generosity. Without me even knowing about their birthday policy, they offered me the buffet for less than half the regular price. This was especially appreciated because at many other buffets in Toronto, you are required to have at least three people pay full price, otherwise the birthday person has to pay in full.

“Really enjoyed my meal at Xin Yi Time! It’s getting harder to find affordable meals these days, so I was surprised that most dishes here are under $13 while still giving such massive portions.
I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice and it tasted very authentic — super flavorful, well marinated, and nice and saucy. Every combo also comes with rice and 2 veggies, which makes it feel like a complete home-style meal.
The shop itself is small and simple, run by a friendly Asian auntie, which gives it a cozy homemade vibe. Definitely more of a takeout spot, but great for a quick affordable comfort meal. Would come back again!“
