I kinda miss the old location, it felt a little more cozy and quicker. But the food is still good.
I quite enjoyed my experience here considering I'm not the biggest Sichuan food fan, but thankfully some of the non-spicy options like the guo ba rou (sliced meat on crisp rice) are delicious! It is definitely better if you love ma la spicy dishes though, as their offerings are mostly that. Still - what I did have were all nicely balanced flavour-wise and I liked it!

Food is excellent, but was a little salty. Service is exceptional!

Nian Yi Kuai Zi Richmond Hill offers authentic Sichuan cuisine with great customer service. The menu items are explained clearly, and the restaurant is accommodating to non-spicy preferences. The food is plentiful with lots of veggies, and notable dishes include beer duck. Customers praise the authentic flavors and friendly staff.
The restaurant provides a casual atmosphere, though it can get quite loud and busy, especially during peak hours. While the dishes are not cheap, customers have found the food to be delicious, particularly the guo ba rou (sliced meat on crisp rice) for those who prefer less spicy options.
The only downside noted by customers is the restaurant's policy of only accepting cash and debit, which can be inconvenient for some diners. Overall, Nian Yi Kuai Zi Richmond Hill is praised for its authentic Sichuan cuisine and good service, making it a recommended destination for those seeking a taste of Sichuan flavors.
