“Chat Bar has such a cool vibe for a late-night hangout! The energy is lively, fun, and perfect for catching up with friends over drinks and snacks. The food is great for sharing, the atmosphere feels young and relaxed, and it’s the kind of place where the night naturally keeps going. Service was friendly and quick, even later in the evening. Definitely a great spot when you want something casual, tasty, and full of late-night energy.“

“Hidden gem in Markham. It’s one of my favourite places for Chinese communal dinner— prices are affordable, and portions sizes are generous!
Mg favourite thing about these restaurants is upon sitting down they offer you complimentary soup! Also, if you dine in on a weeknight, take advantage of their discounted promotion: for $9.95 we got the sweet & sour pork.
Highly recommend dining at Keung if you’re in the area!“

“In general, the dishes I ordered was so delicious and Hong Kong styled. The portion is great and very valued for money. The steak was juicy. The curry chicken ( 咖哩雞) and salted chicken ( 鹽焗雞) was so tender.
The waitresses were so nice and helpful.
New City Restaurant has been put as our regular family visit. Yummy!“

Service is okay. Don’t expect warm and friendly. The wait staff is respectful and patient which is good enough for me.
We were there Saturday around 5 pm so plenty of tables available. Expect to wait (about 10 minutes) for a table after 6 pm.“

“A REAL Hakka restaurant! I almost pokai when I found this place thinking that no way this is real.
Yep, it is real and is not the Indian Hakka that we always see!!!!
Stuffed peppers and tofu was really yummy!
Had the lo bak and it was nice.

“Big Beef Bowl Hand-Pulled Noodle is such a long standing spot in Markham for a good reason.
Their lunch is tasty, fast, and inexpensive. $25 lunch combo for two people (Mon, Tues, and Thurs, opens at 11AM). It comes with 1 hot clay pot rice, 1 soup noodle, and a decent sized snack. A few choices for each of these items. Check the menu out. Honestly can't ask for more and this is why it gets jam packed easily at lunch time. Good news is that people are usually eat-and-go without sticking around for long. So even with the crowd, you might be able to get a seat in 10~15 min during the busiest time. Alternatively, quite a bit of people simply call-in for takeout's and Uber.

“This is truly one of the best restaurants in Markham. I would honestly rate it a 6 out of 5 for authentic Cantonese cuisine.
We tried their spicy honey oyster, black bean sauce clam, and the chenpi garlic spare ribs. All of them are absolutely outstanding from start to finish.
Next was the sweet and sour pork, which had perfectly crispy edges and a nice balance of sweetness, especially with the diced pineapple. The meal ended with the beef fried rice and the taste was also impressive.
A very satisfying dinner. Worth the wait. Highly recommended!“

“Visited for lunch and tried the Fish Lover Noodles, Braised Pork Noodles, Braised Chicken Noodles, Spiced Chicken with Peanuts, and Yunnan Clay Pot Milk Tea.
The noodles were good, although I’m not sure if they are traditionally supposed to be this way. You could clearly tell that the main difference between the three noodle dishes was the protein you choose. Other than that, the broth, seasoning, and overall flavors tasted pretty much the same. I would have liked a little more variation between the different noodle options.
The Spiced Chicken with Peanuts and the Yunnan Clay Pot Milk Tea, however, were amazing! 😋
The interior is absolutely beautiful—you really feel like you’re in a flower land. 🌸🌺 The atmosphere is unique and makes the place worth visiting.
Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy rice noodles! 🍜“
