“Food is mid, 3/5. There are better noodles in the area but this is not bad for the price. We tried the dry noodles and braised beef noodles with soup as well as a few cold dishes.

Service is excellent though - very quick and they gave me a hair tie, bib and basket for my jacket and bag.“

“Had another great experience at Sang-Ji Fried Bao. This is a very authentic Shanghai-style snack spot that I’ve visited many times. The food is consistently satisfying, especially if you’re craving classic Shanghai street food flavors.

This time I tried the truffle-flavored pan-fried soup buns, and they were surprisingly good — juicy, crispy on the bottom, and the truffle flavor worked really well without being overpowering.

It’s a great place for a quick and comforting meal. The restaurant is also clean and well maintained, which makes the dining experience even better. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.“

“I recently visited Wuhan Noodles 1950 and had a great dining experience. The Hot Dry Noodles (Re Gan Mian) may not taste exactly the same as the authentic version in Wuhan, but they are still very flavorful, rich, and satisfying. The portion size is generous, making it a filling meal.

I also tried the Beef and Radish Rice Noodles, which came with a large amount of tender beef and a hearty serving of noodles. The broth was rich and comforting, and the overall portion was excellent value for money.

I did have a bad experience with a front-desk staff in the past, but it seems they’ve brought in someone else, and the service has improved. “This is probably one of my favorite clay pot rice places. I was initially unhappy with the takeout but dining in is definitely a whole other experience. I came at around 6 and it wasn’t as full then but not long after, more people started showing up and this place fills up fast. I got the chicken and preserved meat with double meat and I promise, getting double meat is well worth it. It’s so deeply savory and filling and I was easily able to have leftovers for the following day. The crispy rice adds such great texture and the chicken is unbelievably tender. Will happily go back and get the eel rice again with double meat this time.“

“I think some of the comments are unfair to this restaurant, so I’m giving it five stars to balance them out. They sell 热干面, which literally means hot dry noodles, so it’s supposed to be dry. “I would like to recommend, however I am puzzled with their boundaries. Idk why all the businesses north of Bishop Avenue to Steeles are not included in this BIA given its still North York. By eliminating these businesses proves to me that the volunteer board members are ridiculous. This should not be allowed. Either include all businesses or change their business name.“

“Tucked away on the ground floor of a condo complex is One (small) restaurant. Their specialist is Guilin style noodles. You can eat at one the tables in this tiny food court, or take it to-go.

The owner is very friendly and the food is fresh and made to order. Depending on how bust they are you can expect a wait of 5-10 minutes for your food to be prepared. I have been here dozens of times as it’s my favourite stall in this food court. I have tried many of their dishes, but my usual go-to is their Guilin noodles.

It comes with a side light broth which you consume separately. There are different spice levels. Based on my own trial and error. Medium spice is a good and healthy spice level. I enjoy spice and nearly burned my face off the one time I asked for extra spicy. If you don’t handle spice well, I would recommend no spice, or mild.

Cost for noodles is $13 when paying cash. Comparable in price to a fast food meal, but this one I think is tastier and healthier.“
