“The place is very clean and parking is easy.Food is normal and acceptable. The fried tofu and couple's lung slices are particularly delicious. The tofu is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, juicy and delicious. Both husband and wife's beef slices are available, but this one tastes particularly fragrant. Maybe it's the effect of some chili oil, but it doesn't taste too bad when you eat it, and it doesn't make you feel greasy. The price is almost worth it. Two people ordered three rice noodles and a bowl of vermicelli and there was a big bag of skewers, which cost $75 including tips.Jenny's service attitude is so good.Place is decent and finding parking is relatively easy. The tofu and the fuqi feipian are the best among the dishes we ordered. Very fragrant and good texture. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. $75 all in for 2 people with plenty of food.“
“Beef and mutton skewers and potato slices, the cabbage skewers are particularly delicious and go well with rice. The sauce-flavored boiled pork slices are super friendly to people who don’t like spicy food! Beef and lamb kebabs and potato chip kebabs, cabbage kebabs are especially good and super filling, and the soy flavored boiled beef slices are super friendly to those who don't eat spicy food!“
“The food at this restaurant was absolutely delectable, reminiscent of the mouthwatering barbecues I've enjoyed in China. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were courteous, although they seemed a bit stretched thin due to the busy crowd, resulting in slightly slower service.“
“Our dining experience at Mr. Fish surpassed our expectations. The House Sauerkraut Soup was brimming with rich, intense flavors and was served in a very generous portion. The Spicy BBQ Basa fish dish stands out as the best fish dish I've had in a long while. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's sure to impress.“

“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.“
“Here's the pro move - they have the best stir fried noodle dish in the city - Bokkeum Jjampoong - gotta order extra noodles if sharing. We also ordered their Black-bean-sauce rice which comes with a deep fried omelette and a side bowl of their delicious Jjamppong soup.“
“Very delicious baos and soup - I don’t know if my favourite is the curry beef or the truffle. They’re both so good! My only complaint is there are no vegetarian bao options, so my friends who are veg can never join me here which is a shame because the food is great.“
“Great al dente noodles, fresh, hand pulled in the store. Very attentive service. I liked the little bonuses - a basket to hold your jacket and bags; a bib to avoid splashing my clothes. About 8 tables. Clean washrooms. GreenP street parking.“
“Amazing dining experience. The owner is very cultured, very friendly, loves life, and pays very close attention to details. It is rare to find a Chinese restaurant that really cooks well these days, but this place does. Even typical North American Chinese food like sweet and sour chicken is next level here because they really care about what they are serving, and the chefs in the back are real chefs. The owner will chat with you if you get him started. Pay close attention to the decoration in the dining room and the bathrooms; very little detail is carefully thought out and has meanings behind them.It is always great to support small businesses too.“
“Basically every time I come to Toronto, I come here to eat. Not to mention the taste is very good. Every time I come, I am treated very well. It feels like one of the best services I have ever received! ! ! Highly recommended! Will keep coming here to eat!“
“**updated March 2024**After a shift in approach, this restaurant has landed on a winning combination - great Chinese BBQ (*love* the lamb skewers) as well as more traditional Szechuan food in a lively but still meal-appropriate atmosphere.Very friendly service, quite busy, they draw a regular crowd and for good reason! So give them a try!--Used to be amazing, authentic Szechuan food in a casual and friendly environment. However, in the last year, the owner has changed the atmosphere so that its more like a dive bar (dim, loud music (usually either country or rap that doesn't lend itself to conversation) so its not a nice place to go if you want to have a nice date. While the BBQ is still excellent, the other dishes have gone downhill flavour wise (blander than they used to be) which has been a huge disappointment as this used to be a favorite local place of mine.“
“Chengdu style BBQ restaurant with a bright red interior decor. We came here for lunch on the weekend, there is free parking.Note that they ask you for a 5 star Google review in exchange for free chicken skin skewers.Menu and ordering is thru the QR code. We got the fried lotus root (like chips), sizzling tofu, Orleans chicken wings, chicken skin, shrimp skewers, pork rib skewers, frog leg skewers, and stir fried noodles. My only complaint is that the shrimp were not cleaned. In general, the food is oily/heavy and flavourful. There are complimentary pickles and peanuts.Be careful because some of the options can be spicy! You can specify spice when you orderPrices are reasonable. There was only one washroom available when I wentService is quick.“
“I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.“
“Omni Noodle at Fairview Mall is a gem for noodle lovers. Their Chinese ramen noodles are delicious, and they offer authentic Halal options. I love that you can choose the thickness of your noodles. The Braised Beef with mid-round noodles is a must-try, but their dumplings, spring noodles, and stir fry are also fantastic. The atmosphere is welcoming, and everyone in our group left highly satisfied. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal!“
“Next to our school in Oxford, I come here to eat every day. My favorites are tomato rice noodles, stir-fried yellow beef and wolf-toothed potatoes. The tomato soup is very rich and the beef is very tender. I really want to eat the wolf-toothed potatoes once.“
“I’ve gotten takeout 3 times off Uber for dinner and I am someone who enjoys getting takeout.Service:I’m always genuinely surprised by the level of service provided even for takeout. The food seems to be prepared as the orders come because even when ordering a bit ahead of time, I usually arrive just as they are packaging everything and it takes about 5 minutes to get my food. Once I get my takeout, they open their door for me if my hands are occupied EVERY SINGLE TIME.I can’t speak to dine-in service as I’ve never dined in but I wouldn’t hesitate. They come off as very caring and kind people.Food:As hinted above, it seems to be prepped to order because even after I drive home, I’ll usually eat the food after about 30 mins due to other priorities and it is still hot/warm. If you like spicy, medium or extra spicy is really good. I always order the beef noodle soup and it just has incredible flavours especially paired with their spice.Highly recommend for noodle lovers and spice lovers.“
“Appreciate reply from owner. Looks like some not-so-smart people who don't know what they are doing said Halal in reviews so I thought maybe owner told them it is.Please note this is NOT a Halal food establishment.(Although one day would love to try Halal version of these dishes!)*Original Review*Halal??? Literally serves pork. Owners reply then I delete this review.“
“Dinner with my family to celebrate my son's birthday was such a joy. We had much to eat (lobsters and Peking duck....) and even more to take home.Lunch with friends was excellent. My friends are foodies and they would only settle for the best. They were happy with dim sum and fried noodle dishes atJoyous Chinese Cuisine.“
“Roasted duck is a must! I tried numerous restaurants for the peking duck but J&Y’s impressed me a lot. Deep fried salt and pepper duck is the best way to deal with the leftovers. Just one thing I didn’t like - they didn’t provide enough bread but charged me $6 for extra bread.“
“Their Portuguese Baked chicken was delicious. Its been a long time since I've tried something like this. So glad to have found it. The beef that I bought was tough though. The meat wasnt tender at all. I wouldnt recommend it. Dessert was delicious, loved the “
“Came to have dinner here with my friends and catch up. We got seated right away even though we had a big group and they got us water right after. We ordered a bunch of food family style and it was delicious we couldn’t help ourselves. The food was flavourful and for those who can handle it I would definitely recommend their spicier dishes. They steamed buns were definitely one of my favourites. This location is an amazing place to take your family and friends and I look forward to coming again!“
“Ji Chang Fun is one of my Cantonese favourites -- stuff my mom and grandmother used to make, that I delighted in. I frankly can't be bother to make it -- actually, I have almost no idea of even where to start. So Ji Chang Fun is my go to for this delightful food when I'm feeling the need for old school ji chang fun and congee. The food here is very authentic -- relatively inexpensive, quick service, and like most authentic Chinese restaurants leaves a little to be desired with respect to atmosphere. But it's pretty reasonably priced.Have the beef/shrimp and Chinese cabbage -- it's delicious, and if you are really feeling in the authentic mode, there's nothing better than the congee with pork and preserved duck eggs. Seriously.“
“I didn't find anything special. Although I ordered the soup pot to be mildly spicy, it had no spice flavor at all, which didn't help to stimulate my appetite. The food was self-service; you just select it and then it's prepared in the kitchen before being added to the pot. I pretty much took a bit of everything except for the red meat, but none of them absorbed the flavor of the soup. The pork and chicken pieces were pan-fried, which tasted pretty good, but I didn't take much of those, so it wasn't enough to improve my overall impression.“
“I had the pleasure of ordering food from Steve. I ordered a 1/2 tray of chicken and noodles. We got to talking about the reason for me needing this food last minute. My mom had just had a shoulder replacement and we were celebrating the success of the surgery. He was really diligent and sympathetic. I was amazed that i was able to order this food and it was ready in 15 minutes. I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years and the food is as I remember it in high-schoolsl. If you choose a business to support, this one is family owned and delicious. My moms doing great! Thank you for making looking after her just that much easier.“
“Used to go there a lot because it’s nearby where I used to live. Very nice older age lady who package my food. Always friendly and cares about customers. The price are reasonable. Steam buns and tofu curd are my favourite dishes, especially green bean pork and pork shrimp eggs buns. And also, the chilli oil is so delicious. Although I already moved away from that area but I will still come back sometimes for this place..definitely recommend.“
“【Eating in Toronto】If you want to eat authentic Guilin rice noodles, you must visit Yixiaoguan in Green Building, North York, address: 11 Bogert Ave, North York, ON M2N 0H3.First of all, the brine must be authentic, and more than 20 kinds of spices are indispensable. Secondly, the pot cooking must be authentic, and the process must be meticulous. The boss and the proprietress are very nice, and will tell you how to eat each snack, making a snack bar full of fun of food culture.Hot and sour fried rice noodles is also one of the specialties here. Have you ever eaten hot and sour fried rice noodles without vinegar? It turned out to be the sour taste of sour bamboo shoots, delicious and delicious, oily but not greasy. The deliciousness is not a little bit, and the Wuhan hot and dry noodles in Yixiaoguan are also delicious. Even I, a Wuhan native, have to give a thumbs up to Yixiaoguan.“
“I popped into this spot randomly and was tempted by their pork mooncakes. It was my first time trying them and they were so good! The pastry is flaky, sort of like an egg tart crust and they were generously filled with pork. It was nicely seasoned and tender. I actually ate them at home the day after I bought them. I followed the reheating instructions on the box and they came out perfect.I also got some of their frozen pork wontons to cook at home and they were great too! It reminds me of the ones my mom makes. Not sure if it was the owner, but the lady at the counter was so friendly and welcoming too.I will have to come back and try their baos and shumai!“
“Good priced food for what you get! The lady who works there is always very nice. I usually order the fried rice noodle with beef, and it literally tastes the same as other places but at a good price (my suggestion though would be to ask for more sauce in this dish). This place is more like a grab' n go spot would not take a date here but love eating here alone or when I need a quick bite!“
“HIGHLY recommend!Found this hidden gem by chance while looking for somewhere nearby to study, and I am very happy to have found this spot.Had their daily lunch special (Salt + Pepper fish/veggies/rice) and their iced cappuccino. Their salt + pepper fish was sooo flavourful and CRSIPY! As for their ice cappuccino, it was creamy and less sugary than the Tim Hortons version (IN A GOOD WAY! Got the caffeine I needed to study).Owner and customers are so friendly.“
“This is my favourite hotpot place. I love the soup based and the sauce options here. The meat usually is great quality and they have a pretty decent selection of stuff. Overall delicious!I really hope they take this feedback into consideration but the condensation/humidity is pretty horrible during busy hours and makes it really uncomfortable. You can tell immediately when you enter because all the windows and glass are fogged up permanently. I think having a ventilation system that is more efficient may help the dining experience feel much better.“
“Tried this place for the first time because of their fun $15 all you can stack challenge. It was the second last day during a weekend night when we tried. When we arrive most trays are empty. But we still able to have fun for the stack. And the food are surprising good, especially the soup base was delicious! So far the best malatang we have ever tried! Will definitely come back!“
“Came across this place while looking up new places to eat on Google Maps to decide what to eat for lunch.Ordered the spicy crispy chicken burger and some drinks (lemonade and the sour plum juice I think? Wanted to try it but forgot what it was called now). Food and drinks were good, price was reasonable. There were multiple delivery orders ahead of me but my order didn't seem to take very long, maybe about 10 mins. This restaurant only does takeout, there weren't any seats inside. The burger was big and very filling, pleasantly surprised. The burger is simple, well fried, delicious - doesn't get any better than that. The drinks really complements the chicken that is very crispy on the outside but also very tender and juicy on the inside. The pork items looked good too so I will come back again to try that“
“Dimes is my go to for a great meal, whether it be for lunch or for dinner. They offer a wide variety of choices, fried chicken, jerk chicken, curried goat, oxtail, and more but I specifically love the new Honey BBQ chicken, I been a long time customer and the service and the food has always been great ???? 5 stars for me.??????. Check out the new location on Eglinton, 2679 Eglinton ave West, west of Keele Street“
“?Pan Pan Noodle Bar offers a great deal with a bowl, a side, and a drink for under $16! ?Their signature dish is the pan-fried noodles, but my personal favorite is their burning noodles. You can choose your own toppings? and spice level—I recommend the braised tofu, minced pork, and beef brisket, which are surprisingly tender and juicy.Other must-tries include ?the beef skewers (tender and meaty with a slight fatty taste), the saliva chicken (spicy but not overwhelming) and the crispy and juicy chicken cartilage!Thankyou? @panpan_noodle_bar? @innisophotos? “It’s not that common to find halal Chinese restaurants in GTA. It’s very satisfying and even though I have visited this place frequently, I still plan on coming by every time I am in the area. Do note that this isn’t Hakka or Uyghur cuisine.“
“An ideal venue for a late dinner or even a solo late night snack! The interior is clean and well-lit. As a Chinese "dumpling house", their specialty includes wonton and dumplings, but they also serve skewers, noodles, scallion pancakes, and more. The ones I tried were all priced fairly, served fresh, and very warming!“
“It’s pretty hard not to find this place. It takes up a huge portion of the buildings facade with its dull blue colour. When you go inside it is very different. Not as big as you would expect and they went cheap on the interior design. The food on the other hand is not bad. The prices of their dishes look high on the menu but the dishes are pretty big portions. The dishes taste good. The reason why I’m giving them 4 stars is that it took them forever to bring us a simple vegetable dish and our rice.Maybe next time I’ll just Uber eats from them and avoid the disappointing dine in experience.“
“Very deliciousYou have to wait 20 minutes to grill the fish, but it’s worth itRecommended: lychee grilled fish, durian scones, Langya potatoesThis Langya potato is really delicious. It's not raw, it's pink and glutinous. The lychee grilled fish sounds weird, but it tastes like fish-flavored grilled fish. The fish is Qingjiang fish, which has no fishy smell and is very fragrant, although it is not very tender. But it’s still rare to have a grilled fish festival in TorontoSteamed Pork Ribs: It’s also quite delicious, but I can’t get used to it because of my eating habits. It feels a bit strange.Mixed bean sprouts: very light and refreshingDurian scone: delicious, especially delicious. The cheese and durian are so abundant that it’s hard to eat even if you want to eat it.Overall, the food is not big and tastes good. You can try more things.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Just askParking: Plenty of parking lots at the door“
“The day I went with my two other friends. We ordered combo A including one sweet sour crispy pork, one jajamyeon and one seafood noodle which is recommended for 2-3 people. But it's a lot and the price is very reasonable. Also, the food tastes delicious. The environment is also very chill. Highly recommend???????? ? ?“
“Nothing but great things to say. If you want some hot spicy soup on a cold day? This is the spot. Most places have semi-spicy soup, but if you want a challenge, this is your spot. The braised chicken is beautiful tender and flavourful. With the price, they do not cheap out on the serving size. With each bite I took it didn’t feel like the dish was shrinking but rather growing with how much meat they gave!! This review is not based off of one visit either. Every time I’ve eaten here it’s been nothing but consistent.“
“Service was prompt. The menu was clear and straightforward. The food came quite quickly. Asks for condiments et Al delivered quickly.Atmosphere is bright clean and to the point.Food was good. Flavours were all there. Some noodle dishes were not completely tossed probably due to the speed of service. What really made it for me was the price. Large family gathering filling 3 large tables for under $400 cash (no alcohol).“
“Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!Aptly named the four treasures rice, this rice casserole dish comes with BBQ eel, pork, preserved duck and Chinese sausages which are all jam-packed with umami that goes perfectly with rice. Cooked with a layer of oil being streamed down the sides of the bowl in pursuit of a crispy crust on the edges of the rice, this portion took on a slight yellowing colour that makes the rice more fragrant and is served with a side of Gai Lan. For health. The rice flour rolls were cooked nicely for a smooth, velvety texture with the fragrance of an egg and crisp shrimp that were seasoned perfectly.“
“The store looks bad from the outside but the food is the best in the area. Good portions and good flavor. I get the chicken fried rice, lemon chicken, chicken balls, and Cantonese chow mein. Delicious, well worth the price. Warning! This place only takes cash.Parking: You will usually find a spot.“
“They have really good fried rice. I got the shrimp fried rice with Chicken on top. They specialize in Chinese Caribbean fusion. The Guyanese style chicken fried rice is also really good. There is even one called the amigo fried rice which is pretty popular. I've been going to this place for over 20 years and there's a reason why they've lasted this long.“
“Got mild spicy with Chili sauce on side and non spicy soup base. Got a bowl full of tasty hot pot I credit ga that I picked from various bowls and then they weighed it and cooked it in the back. Honestly I wasn't expecting much and two bowls was over $40 which seemed a little pricey since I didn't put too much in the bowls. But was it tasty? Yeppp and I will be back! Love their soup base!“
“One of my favourite places for delicious food and a great vibe! Their service is quick and friendly, the food is consistently delicious and they host special events (comedy nights, karaoke, weekend parties, etc.). One of my favourite unexpected pleasures. Highly recommend!“
“Anytime a place looks 'run down', it'll be a good place to dine.We stopped by for a quick bite and we ordered the Yung Chow Fried Rice. Great flavour, and they weren't stingy either. We have yet to try their other dishes but this is a place to check out.“
“Updated March 31, 2024 - we came again for Easter, Gopal and Suba our servers did not disappoint. Always friendly and professional. We were greeted again by the Manager. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice additions to the regular menu for Easter :)We come to this Mandarin for all our family events. We came for my husbands birthday party. The food was superb. There were more meat and fresh vegetable options. The desserts as well were elevated. Fresh whole strawberries, chocolate covered strawberries and Tiramisu Cake. :) I was in heaven. Our servers Louis and Suba did a wonderful job taking care of us and making us feel welcome.“
