Decent skewer place.
Clams were good.

My fiancé and I came here and the owner is such a sweetheart, he came out to say hello to us personally and gave us the best service. The food was delicious and very reasonable priced - you get a lot of food for a small price tag.

Zao Men Kan is a Chengdu style BBQ restaurant with a bright red interior, resembling eateries in China, offering a fun, vibrant dining experience with neon lights giving it an upbeat and lively vibe. The atmosphere is good, reminding you of Chinese authentic street BBQ. Menu and ordering are done via QR code, and drinks are self-serve.
Popular dishes include fried lotus root, sizzling tofu, Orleans chicken wings, chicken skin, shrimp skewers, pork rib skewers, frog leg skewers, stir-fried noodles, lamb skewers, and spicy beef with bean sprouts. The Chuanchuan tastes quite good. The chicken rack portion is large. The noodles given for a birthday are delicious. The garlic cucumber is very garlicky but tasty. The spiciness is moderate. The Guobao Pork is unpalatable.
The service was excellent, quick, efficient, and very friendly. The service attitude is good. Staff responses about menu items may vary. They gave peanuts and pickled radish as a little appetizer. The food taste is excellent and served with large dishes. Clams were good, nothing to call home about. Favorites include tripe, flavorful and super tender, and tomato soup with dough. For those who love Chinese Braised Skewers, the 牛肉大串 (large beef skewers) and the 羊肉大串 (large lamb skewers) are a must-try, with incredibly tender and flavorful meat. Chicken wings and pork belly skewers were equally well-executed. The spices are incredibly aromatic and satisfying, even when not overly hot. This place is best known for its skewers, and pricing is very reasonable.
