“a month ago I can't find enough words for how amazing this place is! From the beginning placing the order online to when we finished eating, was absolutely stellar. I ordered the King Crab boil with extras and initially the order was cancelled but they called me IMMEDIATELY to advise they had only one king crab left but would substitute it with snow crabs. Utterly friendly and courteous is an understatement! Best customer service. We got the food delivered in less time than anticipated, and the packaging was insanely proper. No spillage, good containers! The restaurant called me almost immediately after the food was delivered to find out if everything was good! My heart melted and I couldn't thank them enough for making this dinner so special The taste of the food OMG no no words in the English language can deserve it! Juicy, flavourful, succulent, fresh, homemade seasoned! Delicious from the moment I smelled it to the last morsel that was eaten Will be ordering from there again without a shadow of a doubt. “I have been getting my special occasion lobsters from Avenue Seafood for years. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and helpful and the lobsters are always fresh and delicious. Their lobster bisque is also excellent. They also do a very good take out fish and chips. Recently my wife went to pick up a couple of orders for dinner. Alas, by the time she made it to Avenue Seafood they were about to close. However, the owner told my wife that she would stay late to make fish and chips. To me this exemplifies what I love about Avenue Seafood - a local business that offers great wares and excellent customer service.“

“The team that served us was amazing and incredibly polite. They were very attentive to our needs and were also gentle when handling our table and its cluster of orders. Speaking of orders, we ordered: Ikayaki(GRILLED SQUID FOR THE WIN), Salmon Avocado Don& Mackerel(great taste from the soft texture of the salmon and how the avocado made it very hearty. The mackerel was superb too, not over cooked and not too salty. Just right.)
And we also had an Unatama( nice and tender eels) & Sushi.
I did a small side of veggie tempura too, for a little ASMR of crunches ahahaha. Regardless of what you pick, you'll definitely enjoy the colors of the dish and how the flavors complement each item.“

“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“
