“Food was decent, we got the sukiyaki and beef bone broth, they were both a bit too salty for my preference and had to keep chugging water. The meat quality was good, and overall quality of the food was good. I felt that the sauce bar and utensils could have been cleaner, and dispensable chopsticks should be used. Their chopsticks had stains as it was wood and didn't feel thay sanitary.

Only 1 server was around but the restaurant was very empty on a thurs night. The ice cream at the end was good.“

“Haven’t been to Red Lobster in a while, but took the kids there after the Jays game. Honestly, the staff were amazing. They were really good with the kids and had so much patience, probably more patience than me loll
I actually really like seeing the manager walking around and helping out. He even showed the kids the lobster, which they thought was cool.

Beautiful marinated herbs (I’m not sure what they were but they were delicious). I ate really slowly because I didn’t want it to end. This place is a treasure be warned. They have a sign up saying ‘no tipping’ you’ll want to tip, but they forbid it. 😊 I started a table on the sidewalk and enjoyed a beautiful day on College Street.“

Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. “Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

Mike checked with us before having the steaks finished and sent out, so we didn’t feel rushed through our meal. He also brought out a complimentary dessert with “congratulations” written on chocolate as a surprise - he was really excited for us because my wife is pregnant. Service was great and super attentive! All of the food was tasty (especially the burrata) but the sauce on my pasta was extremely salty. We let the manager know and he took care of it right away which we appreciated. The revised pasta was excellent and I loved the mushrooms - I do wish there was more meat though. The desserts were yummy the Calamansi cream pie tasted like a lemony custard it was so good! The strawberry rhubarb cake was fresh and not too sweet. All in all a good experience - we’d come back!“

The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“
