“Well what a great lunch we just had. A delicious dozen East coast oysters. French Kiss and Lucky Lime. plump and tasty with a smack of brine. Very nice selection of condiments. Two glasses of super tasty French Chablis followed up by Haddock tacos and the Blackened haddock burger. delicious fries to compliment the dish. “I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to write a review, but this place truly deserves one. Over the years, Chad has become a friend, and one of our favourite things about coming here is chatting with him. He always makes everyone feel welcome. His family runs the kitchen, and they’re equally wonderful.

The food is consistently amazing. As someone with celiac disease, it means so much to have a place where I feel safe eating without worrying.

We’ve celebrated so many wonderful nights here, including a private birthday party, and every experience has been fantastic.The vibe is perfect, and the music is always great. Anglr is one of our absolute favourite spots in the city, and I highly recommend it to everyone.“

“Matsutei Sukiyaki offers comforting Japanese hot pit in a warm and cozy atmosphere. They offer both AYCE hot pot and à la carte. There’s also AYCE drink option available. You can choose between many varieties of fresh ingredients: noodles and rice, vegetables, seafood, meat and broths. The sauce station makes crafting your own sauce easy and enjoyable.

We visited for a weekday dinner and ordered the “Premium Set AYCE” and enjoyed the delicious hot pot and the vibes.

For dessert, you can order soft serve ice cream and “Hanami Dango”.

“We celebrated our son’s 25th birthday at Fishman’s Lobster House (our 5th visit) and had another excellent experience. The server was extremely helpful in recommending the right combo for our two tables, making the ordering process easy and stress-free. The serving staff and management were kind, patient, and attentive throughout.

We were pleasantly surprised by the birthday discount, and truly appreciated management catching and returning an overpayment I had made — an honest and thoughtful gesture.

The new steak addition was perfectly prepared and delicious. To make the celebration even more special, they played Happy Birthday over the speakers and offered to help cut and serve the cake. Everyone left full and satisfied.

Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. Final comments: Great food, great service and very reasonable prices.“

Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“
