“Found this place on Google Maps, but it is really good!Friendly waitress who did not rush us order. The food and beverages came promptly.I had the goat Roti and a friend had the Jerk Chicken sandwich.Portions were a good size and flavour was on the money.I will be back.“
“Came here for the first time because of the rating. This did not disappoint !! I got the lunch special Basa with chips & I must say, it’s very delicious especially when you pair it with the house tartar sauce !!!Will definitely be coming back just for the halibut (see what I did there?). Thanks guys !!“
“Love this place! A little pricier than most Chinese restos but worth the extra cost for special occasions. Nice cocktails too. Will add photos next time I go.Dietary restrictions: The server took pains to offer suitable items for a gluten-free diet for my guest.Parking: Not a lot of spots but lots of parking across the street in the Canadian Tire lot. Will add info on accessible spot(s) next time I go.“
“Ordered dinner from Hakka Palace today!!! Everything tasted so fresh!! We especially loved the crab and corn soup! That disappeared so fast! My personal favourite was something they recommended: Special Gan-Ben Beef! I definitely encourage everyone to try this restaurant! I also love that they offer halal food!“
“Fantastic service, great food and an overall lovely evening. Absolute favorite was the mistake mushroom, please do yourself a favor and try it out, it’s unlike any mushroom dish you’ve tried before.Insulation next to the windows could be improved so the guests sitting next to the windows won’t feel the wind blowing through the windows.“
“Brittany and Skye took excellent care of us. The cocktails were varied and delicious and the food was well prepared and presented beautifully. We had a ribeye, the lamb, and the cauliflower “steak”. Everyone was pleased. Highly recommended.“
“Our dining experience at Mr. Fish surpassed our expectations. The House Sauerkraut Soup was brimming with rich, intense flavors and was served in a very generous portion. The Spicy BBQ Basa fish dish stands out as the best fish dish I've had in a long while. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's sure to impress.“
“Fantastic food and service, and excellent value. The chef's counter dining experience was a generous 12 course meal, and the chef added a few more on top of that. It is one of best tasting menus I've ever had. Filipino fusion cuisine was very well executed. This may be my new favourite restaurant in Toronto.“
“Honest Weight restaurant is a charming gem nestled in the heart of the Junction. If you're a fan of sustainable, mouthwatering seafood prepared with care, this is the place to be. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently delightful and fresh.“
“I was invited for a business lunch to this exceptional restaurant . The interior is warm and luxurious with a hint of subdued elegance. The menu has an excellent selection of fish & seafood prepared in many variations, not to mention fish is flown in from Portugal. The staff are attentive and the maître d as well as hostess provide a refined level of service . I thoroughly enjoyed Grilled filet of Grouper cherry tomato, jalapeño salsa and a Portuguese beer . The food was delicious and delectable. This is definitely on my list of restaurants to have a romantic & elegant dinner with my wife.“
“Peace be upon you, I swear to God, this restaurant is good, the service is good, and the sons of Adam are good. May God grant him success, and the food is good and everything is good, God willing. I have relatives in Canada who have gone to the restaurant, and guys, we are supposed to support this man. We are not saying anything more than, may God grant him success and may God fix his situation, O Lord, and whoever succeeds will succeed.“
“This place is incredible!!! Executive Chef Tony not only made us a delicious meal but joked with us and made us feel like family. Our server Jack was attentive to EVERY details. I ordered the Pétros Potions & it was phenomenal. Our Red Snapper was cooked to perfection. I will 100% be coming back!!!“
“THE BEST PLACE TO EAT, especially seafood and if you are celiac. I have not had calamari in 12 years! The owner was amazing, funny and attentive. And he kicked off my birthday with a deep fried Oreo?!? I have never had so much deliciousnous in my mouth at once ?Dietary restrictions: Celiac, dairy free“
“Food was pretty good, we got some wagyu as well and that was excellent. The service was a bit of a mess though. The girl who served us talked really fast and was giving off the feeling of being impatient while taking the order but walked around the restaurant really slowly lol she also didn't go into any detail about how things work. As an example, when she brought us water she still hadn't brought us cups which normally wouldn't be a big deal but then she brought 3 cups over then took one away to bring to another table even though there was 3 of us sitting at the table ? it was almost so bad that it was more funny then anything else. The sauce station was also never stocked properly. Missing ingredients every time we went over. Highly recommend figuring out a better system for that for better customer experience.“
“We went for a casual dinner with not much expectations. The qualify of the food is superb. The waitress was very attentive. I especially like the yellow eel and rice hot pot. The chunks of eel taste exactly like those prepared by my late mom when I was a kid. I ordered the Iberico pork steak well done. It was very juicy and not at all chewy. We also ordered breaded oyster, mixed salad and grill octopus tentacles. All are very fresh. I don’t always write review whenever I dine out but this boutiques style restaurant is such a hidden gem in Warden / Eglinton area that deserves the 5 stars“
“I really liked the institution, it was a pleasant discovery for me (I found the institution based on recommendations in tiktok)! My friends and I came here for lunch, everything we ordered was very tasty, plus the prices are not high and here instead of a waiter, a cute robot delivers the food :)I recommend this establishment 100%, you will like it!“
“There are a number of reasons to recommend PSP, the venue, the food and the staff are all excellent. The venue is calming and uplifting. The staff are professional and attentive. The food.... OMG it's a creative journey through the farms and fields of Canada! executed by a crew that is dedicated to their craft. Chef Coulson is doing amazing things here :-)“
“Hy’s Vancouver is always dependable. Our waiter was a very pleasant, well-spoken, and well-trained fellow named Christophe. He prepared us a round of Caesar salads table side and his wine service was impeccable. My NY strip was perfect and my son enjoyed his dry-aged steak very much (gotta try it at least once). This type of experience is the norm at Hy’s Vancouver, not the exception.“
“This is an amazing restaurant. We’ve selected this place to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we left quite satisfied. The restaurant itself has marine style and a lot of decorations, like boats, oysters shells etc, the ambiance is very nice.Food. We’ve ordered some oysters, scallops and champagne. Oysters was fresh and delicious, I didn’t like only pacific oysters but it’s my personal preference. Scallops is 10 out of 10, the most delicious I’ve ever eaten. We’ve got some complimentary candies which was delicious as well.Service was nice.I highly recommend to visit this place especially for oysters lovers.“
“Yes, they have Malpeque. But also west and east coast oysters you’ve never tasted before, many from small producers in little bays you’ve never heard of. Served with charm and professionalism by a master shucker who’ll coach you on which condiment goes best with which oyster, or say nothing at all if you prefer. Oyster excellence in Toronto, who knew?!“
“I ordered salad and a bottle of alcohol for delivery. After waiting for almost an hour (which was fine), Skip the Dishes arrived and there was no bottle, just a salad. The driver nor I was made aware until I check the bag. The driver then called Gabby's to inquire why he was not notified he was delivering a partial order, he was dismissed and told to give me the phone. The young lady (Gabby's employee) then proceeded to convey the bottle was not available and that I'd have to attempt a refund through Skip the Dishes, not Gabby's. She was quite dismissive and closed with a very sarcastic "have a nice evening" and hung up.Needless to say, Gabby's on Eglinton is off-limits to me and my family.Update:David, the owner, arrived at my doorstep to personally deliver my order.I'm appreciative of this, he has renewed my faith in humanity (and Gabby's). Thank you David!!“
“This place is spacious, the lighting is on the dimmer side. Services were attentive, fast and friendly. Food was fresh, tasty, and lovely presentation, a bit pricey though. (P.s. No outside drinks allowed ☹️I wanted my matcha latte so bad, but it had to be stored in their fridge while I dined there)“
“I had an amazing time here with my friend yesterday! The food was great, we shared the “Pearl” which could have fed three people lol and each had a salad. The service was great and the atmosphere is always nice there! I can to my reservation 30 minutes early and was able to sit at my table and get some work done before my friend showed up. Great vibes!“
“FOOD: very good bread and butter.• Sizzling Crab Cake: I don't think the sizzling part make the crab cake become any different, it's already a good crab cake. I guess to make it more fancy. Lots of crab that I think it should be called crab balls rather than crab cake.• Caesar Salad: great portion, they made very good dressing and I could tell the cheese is great quality.• Ribeye: I'd recommend this is for share as it's relatively big piece of steak. It's seared in butter and it's still sizzling hot when served. There's lots of butter so the steak stay juicy and warm until the end.DRINKS:• Raspberry Rosemary Cosmo: fruity and quite sweet.• Blueberry Spice Mojito: the drink is huge, refreshing and fruity.SERVICE: I was surprised that the kitchen divided all the food in half when we said we shared the food. The steak was served by 3 servers, everything was still burning hot when it reach the table. Service was 10/10.VIBE: the place was almost dead empty, the vibe was upscaled but a bit cold so it doesn't seem very welcome.“
“Food is amazing! (unless you don't like meat)I would definitely go back for the food. The service could be better, but the food makes up for it. I highly recommend the beef tongue special, if they have it. The tacos are also great and they have nice sauces!“
“We sat at the bar and service directly from the bartender who was very charismatic. We ordered a Guinness and dirty martini to start which was very good. We ended up splitting a few dishes. We had the clam chowder: it was good, but I didn’t really like carrots in it and found it very light on clams, only a few small pieces of clams. Oysters are served with fresh grated (right in front of you) horseraddish and multiple hot sauces - try the habanero. And lobster roll - we had the cold (other option is hot). It was so good and full of lobster. Highly recommend.“
“My wife and I recently dined and we're a little disappointed with our main course selection. The staff were very quick to notice and were very attentive to rectify the situation. This left a very good impression on both of us so will definitely consider going back next time we're watching a show. Excellent service very attentive good choice for pre-theatre dining.“
“Class is real, it can not be faked! One indeed classy restaurant with lots of character, good is sensational, prepared as a art, the taste and the presentation is awesome. Choice of wines and cocktails to satisfy even the most demanding pallets… the service outstanding, delightful!“
“Ordered for lunch via ubereats. It csme early and they even took the time to read my note to add on buttermilk biscuits to the order if it's not included. All i can say is, SO GOOD. This made my day. If your workday sucks and you need some joy in your life, order yourself some chicken tenders and buttermilk biscuits.Fyi, this is southern style chicken. So expect more grease and a 'heaviness' to the food. Not like korean fried chicken. No pickled radish to cut the 'heaviness' of the grease.I'll order again when i need some joy in my life.“
“We slipped in last night and it felt like being at a family party! Lots of incredible food, families laughing, live music, and feeling like you’re with friends is exactly the cosy, homey experience we found here. A special thank you to Tommy. He took excellent care of us and we can’t wait to go back and visit again soon.“
“I had a fantastic experience at Alder Toronto. The atmosphere was stylish and cozy, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They helped me choose my dishes and wine, which were all delicious. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The server explained each dish in detail and answered all of my questions. I also appreciated the excellent service. The server was very polite and professional, and they quickly refilled my drinks and checked in on me throughout the meal.Overall, I highly recommend Alder Toronto. It's a great place for anyone who wants to enjoy delicious food, a charming atmosphere, and impeccable service.“
“What a charming and cozy spot. Each dish is beautifully designed. We had a pizza that was light and crispy and the salsicchia and gnocchi were unbelievable. The open kitchen really adds to the environment as well, it is fun to see and hear everything that goes on that is usually behind the scenes.“
“Le Petit Chef at the Downtown location offers an exhilarating and beautiful experience that transcends mere dining into a captivating journey for couples or families with children alike. The projection clips interspersed between food intervals create a warm and exciting atmosphere, adding an extra dimension to the meal. The culinary aspect of the experience is nothing short of perfection, with every dish meticulously prepared to adhere to dietary requirements and restrictions without sacrificing flavor or quality. The attention to detail in accommodating any last-minute diet changes showcases the dedication of the entire team. The staff, from start to finish, exudes friendliness and helpfulness, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend Le Petit Chef to everyone seeking a unique and unforgettable dining experience.“
“Let me tell you about this kitchen that I was just walking by and stumbled upon. So, I was not hungry cause I had just eaten by my inlaws. But then, as I was passing a bus stop nearby, I smelt a smell that caught my ear, cause at this point it went past my nose, then my eyes connected to this same kitchen here.Walked in and asked what was ready-made. The young lady said that everything was 15 to 30 minutes, but she had a special macaroni pie that had just come out of the oven if I wanted to try that?I agree, and the macaroni was history.Love it.Was gonna take out but ended up digging in.Shrimp macaroni was ????I'm gonna be back again to try out something else on the menu.“
“Aneta was seriously amazing and was always on the ball with everything! She made the dining experience truly a night to remember and was such a bundle of joy to be around. She deserves a raise or some sort of nice gesture of appreciation, loved her even more than the food❤️ Ask for Aneta if you go!!!“
“I was greeted by friendly staff members when I arrived then I ordered the curry crab with the meal for 3 combo. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and fresh the seafood was plus the portions were big! The curry crab flavour was spectacular and the tom yum soup base also was delicious. Customer service was excellent- everytime I asked them for something like napkins or when I dropped my utensils and needed another one they were on top of it. I can’t wait to go back again!“
“We had a very attentive and very nice personable waiter Harish. I think he made the experience also very pleasant. We had 7 ounce fillets the shrimp cocktail escargot the French onion soup was excellent, and of course, the Billy Minor pie and cheesecake to top it all off. I would highly recommend especially if you’re having celebration.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads you into the bar area. There is also a ramp that takes you up to the washrooms, which has an accessible washroom as well.“
“one of my favourite restaurants on the Danforth (City) the service was top notch, multiple servers brought out our dishes; the food 7 Stars out of 5; the staff was very engaging, George and crew really looked after us well; can’t wait to dine there again!“
“Have the appetizer option 3 dinner plate options 6, that was enough let us enough food for about 7 people. The quality of the food was excellent and the meat was perfectly cooked. The babaganoush and the tomato eggplant appetizer was excellent“
“Had dinner at The Signature on King Street in downtown Toronto tonight. The classy setting, friendly professional staff, and the priceless views of Roy Thomson Hall right across the street contributed to a very memorable experience. The night started with a cheese pizza appetizer that set the bar high. It tasted amazing. The fish and chips I ordered were the best I've ever had. The halibut was thick, tender, and full of flavour, with a perfectly crisp batter, served with fries and tartar sauce. This was one of the best, if not the best, dining experiences I've had since living in Toronto. The pricing also is one of the best values I've encountered for the quality.“
“**updated March 2024**After a shift in approach, this restaurant has landed on a winning combination - great Chinese BBQ (*love* the lamb skewers) as well as more traditional Szechuan food in a lively but still meal-appropriate atmosphere.Very friendly service, quite busy, they draw a regular crowd and for good reason! So give them a try!--Used to be amazing, authentic Szechuan food in a casual and friendly environment. However, in the last year, the owner has changed the atmosphere so that its more like a dive bar (dim, loud music (usually either country or rap that doesn't lend itself to conversation) so its not a nice place to go if you want to have a nice date. While the BBQ is still excellent, the other dishes have gone downhill flavour wise (blander than they used to be) which has been a huge disappointment as this used to be a favorite local place of mine.“
“We had a fantastic experience at La Vecchia Toronto. The drinks were excellent, and the food was incredible. We shared a plate of arancini, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful on the outside, and delicious and gooey on the inside. For dessert, we tried both the panna cotta and the chocolate cake, and both were absolutely divine. The panna cotta was light and refreshing, and the chocolate cake was rich and decadent. The service was also top-notch - our waiter was attentive and friendly. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!Highly recommend!AranciniPanna cottaChocolate cake“
“I have lived in the neighbourhood for 30yrs and finally made my way over. The fish were excellent. Perfectly prepared and very tasty. And so were the rest of the dishes. One exception was the lettuce/tomatoe salad. Not a great time of year for tomatoes, but at this kind of higher-end establishment, take it off the menu if it isn't going to be great.Yes it's pricey. Prepare yourself. It's not worth complaining about.“
“I highly recommend this Jamaican restaurant for its incredible cuisine the service was impeccable, with the cashier being particularly friendly and helpful and it has a exquisite captivating atmosphere. It's an absolute must-visit for anyone craving an authentic taste of Jamaica.“
“To start with, the food was delicious. We tried the pan-seared crab cake, which became an instant favourite. From Stuffed Mushrooms to Grilled Salmon and Lobster & Shrimp Rolls, everything tasted amazing. The ambience was quiet and warm. Well, this was a Monday evening, so could have been because of that. Their staff was quite considerate, friendly and welcoming. We went for a birthday date and it couldn't have been better. The complimentary cake slice was a sweet touch. Overall, we loved the place and would absolutely recommend it.“

“My husband and I recently visited Pokito Hawaiian restaurant for a delightful dinner experience, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of their food, drinks, and the warm hospitality extended by the staff. Despite its cozy size, the ambiance was serene and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. We had their Hawaiian BBQ bowl and Garlic Shrimp Scampi from their hot food section, accompanied by their refreshing Pineapple Coconut Iced Tea. The Garlic Shrimp Scampi stood out with its crunchy texture and flavorful taste, while the Hawaiian BBQ bowl offered a satisfying blend of savory and sweet flavors. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left feeling fully satisfied. One aspect that truly elevated our experience was the attentive and friendly service provided by the staff. Overall, our visit to Pokito Hawaiian restaurant was a memorable one, and we are already looking forward to returning.“
“Martina & Phil were great, what a team! I have food allergies and they were so accommodating. Oysters were half price which was really nice because who doesn’t love a deal and the drinks and food were so good too. Cozy vibes inside. TRY THE BROCCOLIDietary restrictions: They have gluten free and dairy free options“
“The food here is exceptionally good ~ great menu, quality and value for the money. You’ll enjoy any dish you try, from the starters to the house-made desserts. They’re here for you, so please support them, especially during this difficult time. ❤️“
“Had take out twice: We have found our perfect onion rings! Giant onion rings lightly battered, so lightly battered that each bite created an earth shattering crunch. Absolutely gorgeous dipped in malt vinegar. The halibut. The dear halibut, so velvety and flaky cradled within the golden batter. A decent trifle, and mushy peas would embrace some seasoning. Disappointingly, the calamari did not meet expectation, as it left quite a fishy aftertaste, as well the chips; I had hoped a chip place would have better chips. The chips were overly cooked, to where the chips were dry. The atmosphere sets the perfect pub like ambiance. The packaging is excellent for take-out where the paper ware lets food stay crisp.“
