The staff were very courteous, and very hospitable and the food was excellent. A wonderful menu and all the food we had was top class. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.“

“This place is your typical comfort food and the fish and veins were what I remembered as a kid. Even the decor is retro and not fancy. Very much a diner. “This place has the best fish & chips, without a doubt. We ordered the hake (5 oz) and haddock (6 oz), which came with chips and coleslaw. And we loved the homemade tartar sauce! But if you don’t want fish, there are other options on the menu. The restaurant is small but quaint with lots of seating. For lunch on a Saturday, we managed to find a parking spot and did not have to wait to be seated. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere had good vibes. Would definitely come back!“

“Ordered their egusi and pounded yam on doordash, food is great in terms of taste and it was fresh. I’m giving them a 3 cos they are too pricey it’s actually ridiculous!
I also paid for extra pounded yam but didn’t get it (probably missed it though but i’m pained cos i paid for it and it’s expensive)

“Oh my goodness!! If I could give more stars I would. The Haddock was absolutely delicious! It was so fresh and piping hot. The fish was cooked perfectly. The French fries were also piping hot. The gravy was good. It would have been nice to serve such delicious fish with homemade Tatar Sauce but it was not. Just packets. I think my head would have blown off had it been homemade. That’s how delicious it was. Regardless of packaged Tatar Sauce, it was still over the top- good to eat.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“A friend and I enjoyed lunch on Friday October 17. We had reserved and were seated at one of their window tables. Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. Final comments: Great food, great service and very reasonable prices.“

He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. “Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“

The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer.
