“This is my first time having seafood boil and it is the best I have ever ever had in my entire life. The food was so amazing I went back a couple more times throughout this month. This is the only place in the GTA that I have tasted such fresh lobsters. It was so amazing, and kudos to the staff. They are so friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. I know this place will thrive.“

Lobster isn't the only thing this place nails, oh no, because their Peking Duck is absolutely phenomenal, and I honestly prefer this over all the glamorous seafood. Every table around us had these crispy bites of duck skin that burst with an addictingly indulgent fattiness of the duck, complemented by a juicy portion of meat. The pancakes are thicker than normal too, which is perfect for soaking up any juices that dare escape. The lobster was ultra fresh and cooked perfectly, for a subtly sweet taste in a fragrant ginger scallion sauce with a crisp, bouncy flesh. My must-order at every Chinese restaurant is their beef tenderloin, and this place elevates it with a savory and slightly sweet Maggi sauce with pine nuts and walnuts. Each bite is tender, flavourful and unbelievably addictingly, even with tough competition from the Peking duck and lobster. This feast had no shortage of delicious dishes that I sometimes struggled to choose my next bite, a crisp crunchy serving of suckling pig, deep-fried oysters in a sweet osmanthus sauce, crispy free-range chicken, and a humble vegetarian braised E-Fu noodle. The service was good, plates were frequently changed, and the seating was spacious.“

Currently this is my fav fish and chips and service from what I assume was the owner was great. I want to say this was Halibut... It's whichever was a smidge pricier.

“You can walk out of here for only 80 bucks for a buffet, and there are no tricks to get the bottom of the pot. Fish maw is good for beauty and beauty, and the soup base is very fresh. The braised assistant is delicious, the service attitude is very good, and he never gives up. Recommend the only fish maw chicken in Toronto.“

“a month ago I can't find enough words for how amazing this place is! From the beginning placing the order online to when we finished eating, was absolutely stellar. I ordered the King Crab boil with extras and initially the order was cancelled but they called me IMMEDIATELY to advise they had only one king crab left but would substitute it with snow crabs. Utterly friendly and courteous is an understatement! Best customer service. We got the food delivered in less time than anticipated, and the packaging was insanely proper. No spillage, good containers! The restaurant called me almost immediately after the food was delivered to find out if everything was good! My heart melted and I couldn't thank them enough for making this dinner so special The taste of the food OMG no no words in the English language can deserve it! Juicy, flavourful, succulent, fresh, homemade seasoned! Delicious from the moment I smelled it to the last morsel that was eaten Will be ordering from there again without a shadow of a doubt. “Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“Been going here for 30 years. Always hits the spot. Fish is fairly expensive but at least you know it’s always going to be good. Place needs a bit of an upgrade as it’s starting to feel a bit grimy. Side note: their homemade T-Rex burger is one of the best burgers in Toronto.“

“The seafood platter for 2 was a good deal, it came with some onion rings and fried chicken as starter, shrimp fried rice, veggie platter, seafood platter and unlimited order of beef and lamb. Servers are not assigned so you can ask anyone to help you when you need something.

Modern interior, bright and clean. Lots of faux plants hanging around making the space more relaxing compared to the usual decoration on walls.

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“
