I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.“

“Ordered their egusi and pounded yam on doordash, food is great in terms of taste and it was fresh. I’m giving them a 3 cos they are too pricey it’s actually ridiculous!
I also paid for extra pounded yam but didn’t get it (probably missed it though but i’m pained cos i paid for it and it’s expensive)

“Oh my goodness!! If I could give more stars I would. The Haddock was absolutely delicious! It was so fresh and piping hot. The fish was cooked perfectly. The French fries were also piping hot. The gravy was good. It would have been nice to serve such delicious fish with homemade Tatar Sauce but it was not. Just packets. I think my head would have blown off had it been homemade. That’s how delicious it was. Regardless of packaged Tatar Sauce, it was still over the top- good to eat.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“Lovely restaurant with great food and good customer service. We were seated in the patio which was very nice and had air conditioning. Food came out piping hot and was tasty. Staff regularly checked in on us which was great.

Only criticism was that we found a bug in the vinegar. Once pointed out to staff, it was addressed promptly, but still dampened our experience.“

“I went there to try the AYCE hot pot on an early Friday dinner (5:30), and I've got seated right away! The AYCE menu was quite extensive and all the food came out really fresh! There are lots of choices for sauces, also have extensive dessert menu including the Thai mango sticky rice, which all taste good! The servers took the time and effort in explaining how the AYCE work! Very helpful and friendly! Will come back to try the a la carte menu next time! Like the whole dinner experience!“

“A friend and I enjoyed lunch on Friday October 17. We had reserved and were seated at one of their window tables. Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. Final comments: Great food, great service and very reasonable prices.“

Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“

“Small mom and pop shop serving great fish n chips. They don’t skimp on their portions so we thought the prices were great for the value. We live near by but this was our first time going here & can guarantee that we’ll be back again. The batter was crispy and the fish was flaky. Service was pretty quick tbh. Theres seating for a variety of group sizes and we didn’t have much trouble with parking. The staff were so kinda and attentive to us. We left feeling so full and had leftovers to bring home too.“

“I had the honour and pleasure of performing Greek Bouzouki a second time at Floga for a client's baptism. As the artist and sound curator of the event, I will often be asked to eat with the family, which is tricky because I'm usually performing table side while the guests enjoy the entertainment! Today I was forced to take the break (classic Greek hospitality!) and had a wonderful meal. I was served 3 shrimp and an absolutely perfect medium tenderloin with vegetables. I'm not usually a fan of roasted potatoes but these were done well, I cleared the plate. Food was great and so was the service. Floga had a second event downstairs and the rest of the indoor dining spaces were full, it was easily 170 people maybe more. Food was flying out of that kitchen perfect. Not an easy task. “Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“I love how they allow you to substitute toppings at no extra cost! I don't like onions, so I always ask them to substitute it for avocados. My go to is the aloha classic with extra salmon.
Their portion sizes are really good for the price. The staff is always very welcoming. Would recommend either calling in to order for pick up or going in store to order.“
