We chat for 5-10 minutes. It’s like I know the guy for years. The pizza I ordered was “meat and mushrooms”. Let me tell you about the pizza . It’s the most delicious pizza I have ever had in Toronto in my opinion, I am picky about the food specifically Pizza., Anyway you won’t be disappointed. I can guarantee that. On top of the Sunday's Feast Menu, we ordered an extra pizza, an extra fries, an order of House Bread, and 2 banana puddings!

The pasta was very good! It's al dente! Both mushroom truffle and spicy chicken were very yummy! Their Kale Salad is very good! We were surprised how the Kale was not too hard! The sauce for salad is great!

The pistachio tiramisu is nicely made! And all these while, the server was very friendly and she made it all feel welcoming!

“My family and I used to eat at the Metro location very frequently, probably 10 years ago, but since then I became gluten intolerant (not celiac) and we haven’t been back since. For some reason this place popped into my mind today, and I looked at their menu and knew I could at least eat a few things there (minus the noodles and dumplings), and was content with my options so we tried it today, and I was so pleased that everything tasted very similar to how I remembered it to be 10 years ago!

We ordered the shredded cucumber & pork w/starch sheets (could use a bit more meat), the sliced pork belly w/garlic soy sauce (I think it used to have more cilantro on top), the sauced beef slices (same sauce & garlic as the pork belly, but no cilantro on top), vegetable & sliced pork noodle soup (we love their thick and chewy noodles, but it used to have more tomatoes and cucumbers), and the pork wonton (which comes in a delicious clear broth with little tiny shrimps and seaweed…there used to be a lot more seaweed, but the soup still tasted the same as 10 years ago).

We will definitely be going back to this spot to try some other more gluten friendly dishes like their vermicelli’s and other cold dishes. We also will check out the Metro location as well since it’s more convenient for us, but the Metro location is much smaller.”

The food tastes about the same as any other McDonald’s, but I’ve noticed that the burgers are usually wrapped neatly and the orders feel well put together🍔

My only complaint is the cleanliness around the drink station and garbage area. Those spots can look a little messy sometimes. Since a lot of families come here, I think keeping those areas cleaner would make the experience much better.ep coming back. 👍”

If it’s your first time trying bingsu, I’d describe it as a super light, fluffy ice cream with a unique melt-in-your-mouth texture. If you enjoy cold desserts, there’s a good chance you’ll love it too.

“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier”

“I mainly come to Indian Cuisine for the buffet - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — 12pm to 3pm ($21.99 per person)

Food is delicious! I recommend goat curry, tandoori chicken, and eggplant/okra curry. Selections are decent - fish/veggie pakora, rice, Hakka noodles, ice cream, gulab jamun and rice pudding — also coleslaw and veggie mix. Naan comes with buffet and can be refilled — butter, garlic or you can get roti.

Customer service is great! The owner goes above and beyond for customers — there was a time I dined in with my daughter for buffet at 2:45pm — the owner extended buffet time so that my daughter and I can eat, and had refilled the dishes on the buffet table so that we had fresh food.

Overall, buffet price is great, food is delicious and the service is what stands out — the owner treats his customers like family and ensures that the dining experience is great! I have been dining here once a week with my family for the buffet and I highly recommend for everyone to come try the food.”

I’ve been going to Cakes by Robert for well over 10 years, ever since moving back to Thornhill, and it has become one of those local businesses that I genuinely appreciate having in the community. Over the years, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to try their cakes and baked goods, and the thing that keeps bringing me back is simple: they consistently deliver tasty, reliable cakes without charging the heavy prices you often see at larger or more elaborate bakeries.

There is something refreshing about a bakery that doesn’t seem interested in becoming a huge operation or turning every purchase into a luxury experience. Cakes by Robert has always had the feel of a small, family-run, mom-and-pop business, and that is part of what makes it special. It feels like a neighbourhood bakery rather than a chain or a large commercial operation.

The biggest compliment I can give them is consistency. When you’re ordering a cake for a birthday, celebration, family gathering, or any other occasion, you want to know that what you’re getting is going to be good. Cakes by Robert has delivered that consistency for me over many years. The cakes are tasty, enjoyable, and dependable, without needing to be overly complicated or extravagant.

I also appreciate the value. There are plenty of places where you can spend a significant amount of money on a cake simply because of the name attached to the box, the presentation, or the overhead involved in running a large, trendy bakery. Underrated place for good 짜장면 (jjajangmyun - Black Bean Noodles) and 짬뽕 (jjamppong - Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup).
It's in a food court, so during busier times, it might be harder to find a table, but didn't have any issues today.

Ordering is easy, but choosing what to order is the difficult part.
Once you have ordered, you get a pager which notifies you when your food is ready. You can let them know if you would like to dine-in or takeout. Because I also ordered the combo which included 탕수육 (Sweet & Sour Pork), I asked for my order in takeout containers since I knew I wouldn't finish everything. My meal still came out on a tray so I could eat at a table with my friends.

After eating, you just return your tray to the tray cart labelled with the restaurants's name on it.

Portion sizes are fair and priced appropriately. Food is also very tasty, even better than some restaurants nearby.

Even though it’s mainly takeout, the ingredient quality is noticeably better than many dine-in sushi restaurants. The fish is very fresh, and you can truly see and taste the difference.
