But I was so pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! Service was excellent and super attentive. The food was authentic and well-flavoured. I love that they have items you wouldn’t usually find at other AYCES either - like raw marinated crab and soondae. Drinks, appetizers, banchan, and desserts are all self-serve. They also decreased their price to $39.99 on weekdays (not sure about weekends). They accept credit card, and there isn’t an automatic service charge either. This place truly deserves more love. “We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! The most thing I like is the fruit tea, best combination with BBQ. Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!“

The selection felt surprisingly limited.
The meat was fresh and dishes came out quickly, which was definitely a plus.

The Korean bibimbap was actually pretty good.
Everything else was just… fine.

Nothing tasted bad, but nothing really stood out either.
Overall it was a perfectly average Korean BBQ experience, just not one I feel like going back to.

“I ordered the combo with rice and two meats. The roast pork had perfectly crispy skin while staying juicy, and the roast duck was well-seasoned and tender. I thought the rice to meat ratio could have been better, especially for the duck, which costs $2 extra.

Keep in mind that it's cash only and there's no dine-in seating, so it's more of a takeout spot. Overall, the quality of the BBQ is worth checking out if you're in the area and I would definitely revisit to try other menu items.“

“Had this spot in my try out list, went with the BBQ Brisket fries. Brisket was tender and full of flavor, fries were nice and crispy which paired well with the juiciness of the beef. Coleslaw added that extra crunch, and was all brought together with their hot mayo sauce!

I ordered 2 items lunch meal, roasted pork and roast chicken. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and not too greasy. Portions were generous with veggies and the prices were reasonable.
Unfortunately no dine in table.
