it’s usually meant for two people, but they were so kind enough to let me get the ayce option even though i was dining alone, which i really appreciated!! the food was delicious and there were so many options to choose from.

also, the lady helping me was SO nice!! she was talking to me so sweetly and was genuinely so patient with me because i literally had no idea what i was doing LOL 😭 she explained everything to me and never made me feel embarrassed about not knowing how anything worked. she was seriously so kind and made the whole experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

“We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! The most thing I like is the fruit tea, best combination with BBQ. Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!“

The 3 ribs with coleslaw, beans and cornbread were delicious…fell off the bone! Brisket was also tender and flavourful! Prices were reasonable too, better than most places and service was on point! The meat portion sizes seemed smaller than in the past for the price, and service was a bit hit-and-miss. While our server was initially quite prompt, she forgot we had ordered drinks and rice until after everything else had already come and we had started eating. For some reason, even though we were given a table with two grills, they only gave us one grill surface with side dishes (egg, garlic, kimchi, cheese corn). One of our friends was vegan and he only got a small flat-iron pan to grill his vegan set. When we asked if he could also get the same sides but with no cheese in the corn, she said that it wasn't possible but didn't explain why. Overall, it was a good experience, but the service felt a bit of a let-down considering the price of the meal and how few customers were in the restaurant at the time.“

I came to Kum Hong BBQ Restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend. I ordered their large rice combo with two choices of meat — duck and roasted pork.
The portion of meat was fairly small, while the majority of the box was rice. I also noticed there were no vegetables or additional sides like soy milk or soup, which some other BBQ rice box places include. That said, the price was still decent for a quick and convenient lunch.
There isn’t really any dine-in seating, aside from the counter by the front window, so this is definitely more of a takeout-style spot. The ladies working here were very nice and friendly, and they also spoke English, which made ordering easy.
As for the food itself, I found the quality of the duck and roasted pork to be just okay. Nothing was particularly bad, but I wasn’t blown away by the meat either.
Overall, I think Kum Hong BBQ is worth considering if you’re looking for an affordable and quick lunch, but based on my experience, I’d probably explore some other BBQ rice box spots before making this a regular go-to.“

“Went to Uncle Sal’s Hot Chicken and Ribs last Saturday with my family, and we had a wonderful experience. We drove over an hour to get there, and it was definitely worth it!!
The food was 🔥! Their Bbq Brisket dirty fries are absolutely delicious, and both the chicken and beef brisket sandos were so good. The brisket was mouthwatering, tender, flavourful, and cooked to perfection.

The owner was very welcoming, kind, and professional. His service was excellent, and you can truly see the care and effort he puts into what he does. Highly recommend Uncle Sal’s Hot Chicken and Ribs to anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a lovely experience. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you for everything!“

“I came with my daughter to this location where it’s a food court and there’s a bunch of small restaurants inside which I was pretty shocked because I always passed by this area and didn’t even realize this was here, but I knew I was coming for yummy BBQ I approached his storefront and seeing the reviews I think his name is Mr. Kim. He was very kind and welcoming and he was very funny. I ordered the short ribs dinner and it took about 15 to 20 minutes so me and my daughter were just sitting around waiting once it was done, He had called me over to tell me it was done.

it came with side dishes with it once I got home and opened my food, I realize how much food is actually in the box. It’s a good deal for $38 plus tax and the side dishes were very tasty as well.“
