“Had an amazing meal here! Ordered the 锅包肉 (Guo Bao Rou), 香辣肉丝 (spicy shredded pork), and lamb skewers. Everything was delicious — the Guo Bao Rou was perfectly crispy and tangy, the spicy shredded pork had just the right kick.Great service and cozy atmosphere too. Highly recommend!“

“I had a great dinner with friends on 8 June. Good food of great value. Waiter Samuel is cheerful and helpful.“
“Easy to work with and killer results! From consulting to the finished product they were so professional and helped my event go off without a hitch. Highly recommended for all events!“
“In the summer, I like to barbecue, but I am lazy. The food before delivery is really convenient, and each food is divided, and it is also vacuum-packed, so I no longer worry about trouble and waste. The most important thing is that my friends think it tastes good. Now I want to barbecue Just buy the barbecue meat from the former food directly!“

“Jiangcheng Xiaojiaoguan BBQ House is one of the rare restaurants in Toronto that truly delivers authentic flavors. Not only is the food delicious, but the taste is genuinely traditional. The service reflects the boldness and warmth of northern Chinese hospitality, bringing back memories of the flavors of my childhood.“

“It’s been several times now that I’ve come here, and it’s always one of my favorite places for delicious, affordable, and filling duck and pork rolls. The meat is always fresh, juicy, and tender. Their soup is so good that there’s never enough I always end up stealing my sister’s soup too! 😂 The meat is always good when you eat fresh/dine-in but it can be dried up once it’s cold, and they always give a generous amount of sauce. The rice is cooked perfectly, and honestly, everything is just spot on.
The only downside is that the wait can be pretty long, especially during lunch hours. But considering how good the food is, it’s definitely worth the wait!“

“I have frequented this HK BBQ resto many times before. The food, portions and price have always been bang on terrific and delicious 🤤.
The roast pork & rice 🍚 is my fave, but the bbq pork is ultra satisfying along with the octopus 🐙. I have never tried the duck or the sausage, but I am fairly certain that they must be delicious because there is a good amount of returning customers every time that I am here 👍.
You can find them in the food court which is the heart of Metro Square for decades 😁.
Happy eats 😎 everyone“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“

“The portions here are wild for the price. For about CA$10, the rice boxes are piled with high-quality BBQ meat, and every visit still surprises me with how much you get.
The line can easily take half an hour, but it feels worth it as soon as you open the box. If you're in the GTA and haven't tried it yet, it's an easy spot to recommend.“

“Good place for quick eats. The noodle portion is very good and flavour is nice. Wouldn't recommend the pan fried baos or the congee though. The pan fried baos are very doughy and congee doesn't taste like other congee places (and not in a good way). Would come back for the noodles though.“

“I was buying tofu and the cashier upsold me on some sweet and sour pork. Turns out to be the best I've ever had -- quality pork, not grisley or too chewy, with extra good sauce. My husband says their specials are reliably good and worth getting even if they seem strange (I enjoyed the pig's trotters way more than expected).“

“I know many have posted about the service here but honestly what are you expecting from a nice little eatery? For the pricing and food quality, I find they are quite good especially the 燒味 and Fried Noodles. The location is quite convenient and close for those of us in Markham North. The premises are clean and the servers were quite considerate. Overall, I am satisfied and have been coming back frequently. Highly recommend.“

“A welcome addition in the area near 16th Avenue and Woodbine Avenue. This Char Siu Manor sells more than Char Siu (bbq pork), it also sells other typical Chinese BBQ.
They have daily special such as roast BBQ pork with rice for $10.00 CDN (including tax) and other single item with rice daily. I If you want 2 types of meat, they also have deal at $11.75 CDN (including tax).
The portion is good, rice is steam hot (which I prefer), it comes with some veggies and a complimentary Chinese soup.
The place isn't that big but it offers some tables and chairs for a quick meal. It's self-serve sauce and utensils, no service, just more like a fast food cafeteria style.
Most people buy take-out and brings it home. There is a nostalgic arcade game near the entrance. I think the food is good, nice portion, tasty, modern, clean.
The butcher chef is courteous and nice. What I like and appreciate buying meat here is that if you ask for 1lb, the butcher will try to give you as close as 1lb, we all know it's hard to be exact when meat such as pork has bones which is not easily to get close to the exact weight. I am scared of buying Chinese BBQ from other stores coz if you ask for 1lb of meat, they cut it purposely to be like 1.5 lb which is way more meat for 2 people.
Here, the butcher was 1.19 lb for my bbq pork which was very close to my requested 1lb, I will definitely be back.
I requested to have half fat-half thin BBQ pork and the butcher was able to find one exactly to my request. So good!
Highly recommended. I tried it the roast pork, BBQ pork, would like to try the BBQ duck or ma po tofu or sweet & sour pork next time.“

“Ordered a 3 piece rib meal along with their cheese Beef Brisket Sandwich. I guess the waitress over heard me ask my husband how we were going to split it evenly. Guess what? They ended up giving us an extra rib!!! Super kind people working here, the food is great! A lot better and fresher than what you get from the Markham Ribfest lol!“
