“Can’t comment much on service and atmosphere since I had to go.

Their omakase to go was def great. Had the two person omakase and they come in a cute styrofoam box.

Fish variety is pretty similar to other omakase. Overall was good just going to point out the two that didn’t taste as well (Mackerel and Ikura) compared to all the other omakase I’ve been to. Besides that it was pretty stellar for a togo experience. Oh and uni and ikura were a bit in the smaller side as well

Parking: Free parking lot in a plaza but may be crowded as there’s a lot of restaurants“

“Fantastic takeout place, affordable and delicious maki rolls. There are many specials where you can also get drinks if you buy a certain amount.

Some favoruites are the spicy salmon, tuna, and lobster maki rolls.

Will definitely come back to try more rolls, these are quite filling too and can definitely be a meal.“

“On the way to Port Perry, we got hungry and decided to grab a bite at Markham.
Based on the reviews, we decided to try this place since Cafe Mozaiko looked like a good choice.

We didn’t check the menu, but it was exactly the kind of food we like. My son went for his usual order of the spicy salmon bowl. He said it was unbelievable and one of the best he has had. It came with pickled ginger, pickled seaweed and a spicy mayo. We decided to order chicken karaage bento for a change. The chicken was melt-in-the-mouth and the coating was very flavourful with the right amount of crisp. The sesame sauce it came with was also great. The rice was seasoned and paired very well with the chicken, not dry at all. The lychee iced tea had fresh lychee bits and was very flavourful. The taro milk tea tasted like real taro and the boba was good too.

Overall, a fantastic experience and we’ll be back to try the sushi.“

“Fish was fresh and got to eat take right in front of the chef. Food was prepared quickly but a little bit rough around the edges, however the most important part was the fresh fish.Went for lunch and ordered the Big Otoro roll and the daily special. Dined in and no one else was there on a Monday lunch which is expected. Place was clean and stocked with lots of take out ingredients.Don't think I need to come back here, yes it's fresh but being a downtown body, Kitaya ( l beside C&C near the science center) is a better option and taste equally as fresh. Plus they have great hojicha ice cream there.“

“I ordered the 110pc party tray on a Saturday evening while they were busy. The kind couple owners were very accommodating despite having dine-in customers. They finished the order quickly and gave me extras. I was surprised to see a box of appetizer edamame soy beans as bonus! This meal was for my family's birthday, and they enjoyed every bite. “I don't eat at pacific mall often, because I don't usually get hungry there. Whenever I do I just find some dumplings from one of the food court places and call it a day. But yesterday I went looking around for something more, and this place caught my eye. I've always wanted to try katsu, and they had pork and chicken katsu. I bought the latter, and the combo came with a handful of delicious side dishes and miso soup to accompany the main batch of chicken katsu. The lady who took my order was really nice, and I didn't have to wait too long for my food. I like the little buzzer things they use to let you know when your foods ready. I'll definitely come back to this food place if I ever get hungry at the mall again.

Vegetarian options: They have veggie rolls, and veggie options for the other foods they have. I'm not vegan/vegetarian so I don't need these options, but some of my family members are so I like noticing the veggie options at food places I go to, in case they want anything.“

“I will recommend this if you loves sushi. I order a mango sushi it was little sour and it have lots of cucumbers in it but it’s still really good. Then I got a king crab it was ok. Then an avocado it was good I will come back to Osaka Sushi again.“

“We started going to this restaurant since covid-19. Honestly there were a lot of choices in Markham, and Ikon was not the only sushi restaurant we ordered our food. But things have changed because we can hardly find better restaurant in Markham. There are restaurants that focus on lots of menu choices, some name their food with unheard titles, and some raise their prices to make you feel theirs are imaginative "premium". But Ikon comes in simple packages. They give you the max quality of food in simple menu and shockingly reasonable price. The chefs and the owner (tall woman) always dress in clean and simple outfits, and then greet you with a warming tone as if you were a good friend. As a bonus, take-out orders come with a Japanese soft clothes to carry your food. The whole package is simple and beautiful. Thr portion is bigger than many places. Sadly not many restaurants are like this. Disclaimer: I don't own any restaurant. I do not know any of the staff members and the owners. Japanese food is our family's preferred cuisine.“

“Ordered a 40 piece sushi sashimi tray for 2 people. It has a pretty good portion. Even with my big appetite, we felt satiated after finishing the platter. The fish has a thick cut, the way I like it. Unlike other restaurants where the cuts are so thin that you can see light coming through the meat. It is a take out only establishment, so I didn't bother rating the atmosphere. I'll most likely come back again.“

I am not an ayce type of person. Not usually recommend ayce to any of my friends. This would be an exception after my multiple visits. If you are willing to spend the money for a meal of omakase, this may be something for consideration. They have items I like and would normally enjoy though the selection might be limited to some people's perspective. Plan to return once in a while.“

“This place was very chill and the food was really good! Skewers were easy to share and tasty. My favourites may be the tamago and the salt chicken! The takoyaki was amazing.

The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful, not what I expected. It didn't feel like a bar and it was very family friendly! Bathrooms were clean and I love the aesthetic!

Only issue would be that their prices are a little high but it's definitely worth going!“

“We hit up the KAKA spot up in Markham and the experience was great. The food tasted great and if your someone who loves sweets, try out their desserts (comes in shot glasses). However, I do question their odd portions though but overall it's a great all you can eat sushi spot and I give it a solid 4/5 stars.“

“It's a family run business (I think) who are really sweet and very kind - I believe they are Japanese.

The taste is great my favorite of all times is the Sakura Roll, the cream cheese taste in the sushi with everything else on it (crap meat, lots of salmon, avocado, asparagus, cucumber) is just heaven. It's also deep fried. Many other special rolls options are available. I love the tampura shrimp and the yam - so good!

I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service is always great. I've been there three times but I regularly order through Uber Eats and Dashdoor. They gave me complimentary tea, water and Miso Soup 🍲.

“My wife and I came by and we purchase two unaguri. I got the spicy salmon and my wife got the spam and kimchi. The spicy salmon contains cooked salmon with some spicy sauce. Overall it was not bad, a little heavy on the rice though but it was still pretty good. My wife got the spam and kimchi and she enjoyed it, but not wowed by it.“

“I am very impressed! My boyfriend and I went here on a date in October. I haven’t had sushi from Ontario in so long. It was nice to eat sushi out from the east again. The owner was very kind, very professional and provided excellent service. She allowed us to have a sushi boat which I yearned for, on a small order of sushi. An oh my goodness, the miso soup is amazing! Normally it is a hit or miss with miso, but this one hits harder than anything that hits you in life. I selected the spicy Salmon and salmon nigiri tray.The food stall itself is nothing special looking it kind of reminded me of a 90s food court type vibe, but the building it's in is also from the 80s - early 90s so no big deal.The spicy Salmon rolls were actually really good and I quite enjoyed them. They were not very spicy but they had good flavors. The nigiri was nothing stand out but for a cheaper take away place they weren't bad.“

Can't complain - best AYCE sushi place I've been to, with regard to service, quality of food, and price - esp. after using their 10% coupon ;D I been there many times, and went there again for my birthday on Saturday and again, yesterday (Monday)! So yesterday I got my free birthday meal! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in AYCE! They are normally pretty good in bringing everything exactly as you ordered, but yesterday we seemed to be missing some items...but that's ok, no biggie since you can always ask them about the missing item if you still really wanted it :)“
