“Finally a very good vegetarian Chinese food restaurant in Markham. Unlike most Chinese restaurants which offer a couple of vegetarian options , this restaurant only offers vegetarian food. We ordered 7 different dishes and they were all delicious and beautifully presented. A must visit for vegetarians. We will definitely be going again.“

“It’s one of our all time places to dine! Their sushi is the best o have version eaten! And I have tried my fair share of places! Their tenon roll is particularly delightful! Their yummy crispy is something you just have to try! It’s a crispy flat wonton that is topped with a combination of chopped tomato cucbers and sauce and it’s divine! Their beef teriyaki (vegetarian of course) is so so good! I haven’t tried a thing I haven’t loved here! The server is always so friendly and it’s nice and clean!“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“Among the best North Indian Street food & lunch/dinner in East side. Gobhi Manchurian, Gol Gappas, Kulchas are absolutely mouth watering. All other preprations are awesome too. Food is freshly prepared so it can take a bit. Best to order in advance or wait for a bit but the wait is worthwhile. Quite reasonable and overall service is great.“

“We hosted my daughter Hanna’s 9th birthday at Boston Pizza for the “Make Your Own Pizza” party and it was absolutely AMAZING! From start to finish, everything was so well organized and stress-free for us as parents.

The kids had the BEST time making their own pizzas and the sundae bar at the end was such a fun and memorable touch. The atmosphere was lively, kid-friendly, and perfect for a birthday celebration. The decorations they provided made it feel extra special and festive.

Our servers went above and beyond — they were kind, patient, and so attentive with a big group of excited kids. The service, food, and overall experience were all 10/10. Every child left happy (and full!), and Hanna said it was her best birthday party ever.

“Never thought to pay a visit here but was looking for a local greasy spoon to support - came here for breakfast and noticed that a lot of line men and construction crew come here so you know you’re in for some good value and decent food. I was shocked to know that I was able to order wings so early in the morning but decided to be that person and try something new while sharing a breakfast platter. Food was fresh, made to order and service was fast and friendly. Happy to know that they are open on the weekends so there’s more opportunities for me to swing on by to support a small local business“

“I ordered a mixed lunch box with spring mix and brown rice, spicy grilled chicken and source. The owner recommend avocado cremosa source, which gave soft creamy taste on the lunch box. Brown rice and grilled chicken were warm. So it was pleasant to eat.“

“A cozy small mama papa Pho place located in the plaza. There are about 6 booths with another 6 tables. Enough space and does the job to fill your tummy.

I ordered the House Special Pho (medium), the broth is clean with subtle flavour which I appreciate. Pipping hot broth, the bean sprouts was has a nice crunch, good amount of leaves and lime slice.

The amount of meat here is generous and substantial that even medium was filling. Raw beef was tender and nice to bit on. I been to other pho places, once the raw beef gets cooked, it's so hard to chew and lack texture. Not here, first time I felt the raw beef has a nice bite to it.

I really enjoyed the beef brisket, good cut and thickness, good long slices of brisket with good amount. Luv the beef tripe here as well as it's has a good cut and decent size, unlike other cut the tripe so thin you can hardly see or taste the tripe.

ONLY drawback here is the lack of beef tendon in a House Special. I asked the server, she said there is NO beef tendon in House Special but she said if I requested it, they will provide some with no extra charge. Many other Pho places will provide beef tendon as part of their House Special, only here at Pho Mi 88 that you have requested. Anyhow, I will make sure to ask for beef tendon at no extra charge next time I come back.

The noods here are the thinner slices, which I personally prefer thicker noodles, but that's just my own preference.

Otherwise, it's a good place for comfort food. Good substantial amount of noods, meat and pricing. I told the staff that I rather pay more for value and good amount of meat here than some other places that maybe cheaper but cheap out on meat.

At $15.49 CDN + tax for a medium beef pho or $17.49 CDN + tax for beef pho is fair and reasonable.

I would come back and try more dishes in the near future.“

“This place was a life saver during my pregnancy. Love that they have so much variety with their menu and all of it was done pretty well. Definitely my go to whenever I had a craving. When I ordered California rolls while pregnant, they made sure there was no cross contamination and separated out the fish roe. You can tell that they care about their customers.“

“I really enjoyed this shop I found by smell in Pacific Mall! The man was running the shop, rolling out wrappers and folding dumplings all on his own. He was so nice, smiled a lot and we got by with my limited Mandarin and his limited English lol.

The dumplings are great if you like chunkier meat texture (not minced/pounded), and thicker, chewy dough. That's my preference anyway! If you like thin, delicate dough without much bite, this probably isn't the place for you. Got the pork and cabbage boiled dumplings and they were delicious.“

“I have been getting big bone by delivery for about 6/7 years, only have went in a handful of times and last night I went a half hour before closing, they were still having such a nice attitude when typically when you go right before closing the workers arent to happy but not them! I got the big bone combo to share with my partner and they put extra wings, ribs and corn bread for us which was a significant difference in the amount of food split I thought that was extremely nice and on top the food is ALWAYS delicious especially the Markham location.

“We had unhappy experience at this restaurant today. Before we order the food, the waitress who has short hair and wearing glasses told me that my child was too loud. My child was just talking to his grandparents while waiting for the food. And there are other adult customers are louder than us…we been Canada for many years, this is the first time to meet this kinds o service, make me unhappy and ridiculous!“
