Unfortunately, I would never go back because, like me, you may end up with a parking ticket while you eat here (even in the legitimate parking spaces in this mall). Screw you, city of Markham parking scammers! Update: I have disputed the ticket and the fine was reduce. However, that is an insufficient response since the ticket was frivolous. I have requested a hearing. This sort of trouble is not worth going to Markham ever again.“

“We had lunch here yesterday, and all of the special rolls we ordered were great. The 'Tenon Special' was our favourite, but you can't really go wrong if you stick to the special rolls on the menu. We've rarely had good vegetarian sushi at restaurants, so we were very happy to find so many great and interesting options here. Highly recommend.“

“I was there last night to celebrate a special birthday for my friend. Service was great and overall a good experience. I was,however, disappointed that they didn’t seem to be aware that it was her birthday even tho I made a point of telling them that when I made the reservation. She is not a dessert eater but I still thought it would have made it more special if they had surprised her with a bd cake of some sort (I know this is done as have had it done for myself). I tried to hint to the waiters a couple of times that it was a birthday and was not acknowledged until the end when they said they weren’t aware it was her bd and could they bring her a dessert. I knew she would decline but would have been more meaningful if they were aware of the reservation details. Overall the meal was good. Caesar salad was excellent but much too large for 2 people - would serve 3-4 people who were having main course. I ordered beef tenderloin that was described as blue cheese crusted with a fig sauce - there was 2 large dollops of blue cheese on top of steak which is not “crusted” in my opinion and fig sauce was too sweet for my taste (perhaps my fault that I didn’t realize how sweet figs were). I enjoyed the plain leftover steak today much more than original meal. She had prime rib, ladies cut which was huge and said it was delicious as well as the escargot starter which she also enjoyed.“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“This is an addendum to my last review. We are here again less than 2 weeks from our last time. Again we had to order Tom's special breakfast. It's so good at a very reasonable price. First starting with the generous slice of orange plus another kind of fruit. Crispy bacon cooked to perfection. Home fried potatoes that are crispy on the outside and soft almost empty inside. Eggs cooked perfectly and toast fresh and delicious. What a bargain!

We had the Tom's special breakfast. It was fantastic. The potatoes were the best we've ever had. Fresh and crispy. It's very clean in here. We ordered at the counter but they delivered it to the table. They're fat and friendly here. All the food that I saw made my mouth water. The phone beside me had a BLT with a fried egg. I noticed that he couldn't finish it because it was so big and took the other half away with him. This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely be returning.“

“I ordered a mixed lunch box with spring mix and brown rice, spicy grilled chicken and source. The owner recommend avocado cremosa source, which gave soft creamy taste on the lunch box. Brown rice and grilled chicken were warm. So it was pleasant to eat.“

“Although not a traditional taco per se, the tacos served here are delicious! They're made with flour tortillas and have french fries in them, topped with your choice of protein, cabbage, fried onions, pickled onions and sauces. My personal favourites are the fish and beef. Note that the owner only operates in the warmer months and closes for the winter (I believe he closes sometime in Oct).“

“Food was good but not quite at the Vietnamese level. However very close to the real thing compared to the rest of the Chinese operated Vietnamese restaurants.

Service was exceptional. The man who seated us was funny and has a lot of energy. Very lively and courteous.

“We came here for lunch as a family of 4 for lunch on Sat, great that it’s not packed (usually wait time for dinner is long). We ordered 3 lunch bento box (sashimi, beef teriyaki and salmon teriyaki) and a tonkatsu udon. Bento box came with a miso soup, I found the soup a bit salty, the bento taste ok for the price. I love their location and will come back again.“

“Went for lunch on a weekday, we are the only customer. We ordered Sashimi bento and beef teriyaki bento. The sashimi was fresh and came with tempura and California rolls.
The beef was a bit rough and the bento does not come with any rolls as most restaurants.
Overall good price for sashimi bento but not the beef bento. The service was great.“

“I love soup so my husband took me here for my birthday! Food was delicious! 😋We tried the signature wonton noodle soup, hot and sour pork and beef brisket with vegetables!
Their brisket is so soft, a little salty for my taste but that’s on me, I finished and enjoyed the food! I will recommend this place and we’ll definitely come back again! The Hong Kong milk tea is worth to try! They serve the food really quick, not even 10 minutes waiting! You can also see them making their food fresh! One of my best wonton soup!“

There were some things that looked to be little eggs from some bug on one of the vegetables as we finished the dish. It wasn’t a big deal, but the waitress apologized and compensated us for it. “This restaurant is quite delicious. I recommend getting the entrees because it comes with bread and salad and the bread is like. Feels like homemade and hot and toasted and buttered slightly without feeling too oily and the salad is extremely fresh. It's like the healthiest Greek salad I've tasted and the entrees come with a huge amount of vegetables on the side which make the dish very healthy. I also got the grape leaves called dolmades for $10 unfortunately that one was not too delicious, but I think only ordered that specific dish. If you have like eight people because you can only eat one of those, they're extremely sour and then I also ordered the egg plants and potato lasagna which was quite delicious. A ground beef seems very healthy“

“always love coming to Swiss Chalet! The food is consistently good, the portion sizes are fair, and there’s something on the menu for everyone.

Our server was wonderful—attentive without being overbearing. She brought us water without us having to ask, provided extra napkins, and was especially patient and engaging while the kids ordered for themselves. She kept our drinks refilled and created such a welcoming atmosphere throughout our meal.

The restaurant was moderately busy, but we never felt neglected or rushed. The service was friendly, the food was good, and it was an overall enjoyable experience.
