“Highly, highly recommend eating here! My friend’s salad starter was HUGE. Our server advised us that it would be about 20 mins between courses…but it wasn’t even close. Our main dishes arrived in no time at all. I had the Basta which was absolutely delicious. It didn’t look like a ton of food but the portion was perfect. I had to save room for dessert. Their tiramisu and their pecan pie are homemade…so you know it’s going to be divine. Our reservation slot was an hour and a half but we were there for much longer. The servers are super friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic, the food was superb…go eat here!“

“Super cute Vietnamese spot in an unassuming plaza. My lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl had a generous amount of well-seasoned grilled chicken thigh, and a good balance of vermicelli and fresh veggies. Iced coffee with condensed milk was a bit on the sweet side, but good and strong just like I like it. Great service, too!“

“We were a large party. I got the brie and avo Benny and my hollandaise sauce was cold.The classic Benny was great. The salad is nice. The home fries were the frozen variety but apparently they are supposed to ask you which potatoes you want. I would have much preferred the potatoes with onion, So my meal was not optimal.The classic breakfast was great.Another peron got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was wayyy overcooked and the portion was too small.“

“Was craving wings and found this place with some good reviews. Was in the neighborhood so I decided to give it a try. Let's get the bad out of the way. I have never been in a filthier restaurant environment in my life. You walk in and it's a mess. A real mess. Garbage on the floor, stains on the seats, food on the table and empty boxes. It looked like it was in the middle of being renovated and the construction workers all took a bathroom break. All that being said, it was non stop customers coming in one after the other. I decided to take a chance and order some wings and was pleasantly surprised. Crispy and not overcooked and a great flavour, even naked with no sauce. That lady behind the counter was running around cooking, taking orders and was doing it all with a pleasant demeanor. It's one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" moments. I can only speak on the wings but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Give them a try if you want some great wings at a decent price.“

“Came to Junnio's Italian Restaurant, for lunch on a Friday, the amount of options they had on their hot table was amazing. From pasta, to pizza, to hot sandwiches there were tons of options, and the place was packed. Got a deluxe pizza slice and a veal sandwich, veal was great, pizza was also great! Cost for the veal sandwich was a good price, I would come back to try some other items, and probably sit in. Recommended if your in the Vaughan/Concord area looking for good Italian.“

“I am absolutely not a burger person but went to eat, grabbed the combo. Definitely the burger was made fresh and the patty was juicy. The fries had a great pep to themselves as well. “First time visiting this location. We noticed some great deals posted on the window for lunch specials. We didnt' have any high expectations beyond a typical Wimpy's experience. We were blown away with the exceptional service by our server Candy! She made the whole experience so amazing! Probably the best service we've had in any restaurant for a very long time (including much more upscale restaurants). She went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing visit - from brewing a fresh pot of coffee, to checking in on us regularly and she even buys her own candy to give to her guests. She is the gem that keeps that place going - I would almost think she owned the place! This location is worth visiting for her service alone. The food was typical Wimpy's fare. Great value (they have some good weekday specials). We'll be back to see Candy again soon!“

“My family and I have been coming here for around 15 years and it never disappoints! The Pad Thai is so good (and authentic), any other Thai place we have tried has been an utter disappointment. I highly recommend the Thai Fresh Cold Spring rolls, which are filled with aromatics and veggies and served with a delicious dipping sauce, the peanut sauce chicken, the green curry, and basically everything else on the menu.The staff are so great, especially Joy.Vegetarian options: Each dish has a vegetable or a tofu option rather than meat.“

“Best Hakka I've had in a long time! my family used to come here twice a week, and sometimes dine-in. Now with Covid, when we don't cook, we get take-out once a week till things get back to normal. We usually get the Chili chicken and shrimp (both dry) and the crispy ginger beef as our staple, surrounded by different dishes each time. everything is always delicious, and the staff/Ownership are so friendly! “This was our first time trying this place! I have been wanting some pupusas and this was the closest to us. Service was great, very friendly. Upon first impression of the restaurants, it is outdated and could use some renovations but we were there for food so it wasnt a big deal about the atmosphere. We were the only ones dining in during lunch and wasnt busy at all. We tried the pupusas with chiccharon and cheese, carne asada meal to share, and flautas de pollo All good, no complaints, very filling! we ended up having leftovers. Overall it was decent! i cant compare to any other similar restaurant yet but 5 stars for customer service :)“

“Bamiyan Kabob is a staple in my list of food places when I don't want to cook. I've been coming here for years and finally decided to share my thoughts. So I think the quality of the food has fallen since the original owners sold the restaurant to a relative or close family friend (I heard from someone, who knows someone, who knows someone from the family). After Bamiyan started opening locations everywhere, the portions and quality became inconsistent between locations. BUT, having said that, this is still the OG of Afghani food in the Toronto/East York area. The food at Bamiyan worst day is still better than similar places on their best day. On this occasion, I ordered the Chicken Kofta Kabob Dinner. For $18.99, you get a skewer of chicken, a skewer of minced beef, salad, naan, rice, and 2 sauces. ("Red" Tomato with some heat & "White" Yogurtish dip for the meats). The portions are generous. The meats are seasoned with Afghan spices and grilled to perfection. The rice is also delicious. I think the basmati rice is infused with a heap load of love. The salad usually has diced tomatoes, dice onions, and chopped cilantro/corinader. BUT, I always order it without the lettuce, I like to mix the salad with the rice. Try it, you'll thank me! The dinner was delicious, my stomach was happy. I've tried most of their offerings here with the exception of the salmon, and I have not been disappointed so far. The only con I have with Bamiyan is the choice of Pepsi products!! Long live COKE BABY!! So for the uninitiated, definitely give this place a try... my 2 cents.“

I wish it was a little more intuitive what you get vs what the add-ons are. The ambiance is just okay but there's enough seating. Will definitely come here again though for that jerk.“
