The spicy miso is our usual go-to and it was consistently good. The happy hour is nice to have with a meal. The hoji cha shaved ice dessert was very good too. We will be returning here again.“

Our food came on time, was delicious and hot. and all 8 of us enjoyed every chopstick full of such tasty food. Thank you to the staff that took care of every want, even a dish of ice cream dolled up for the birthday girl. Very nice treat. Thank you. “I recently tried Bibimbap and it was a really enjoyable dish. The mix of fresh vegetables, rice, and savory sauce created a great balance of flavors and textures. I especially liked how each ingredient had its own taste, but everything came together perfectly when mixed.

The portion was satisfying without being too heavy, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick without overpowering the dish. Overall, it felt healthy, flavorful, and fun to eat.

If you enjoy dishes with lots of variety and bold flavors, Bibimbap is definitely worth trying!“

“Update:

Today I brought friends here expecting a great experience, as this used to be one of my favorite Korean restaurants. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing.

We asked the server for extra side dishes, and he simply brought them over without mentioning that there would be an additional charge. Later, we noticed a $7 charge per side on the receipt, totaling $21. At no point were we informed about the cost or given an option for portion size.

When we raised the issue, the response made things worse. We were told the receipt couldn’t be changed, the manager wasn’t available, and the staff weren’t trained to use the system. That level of unpreparedness is unacceptable.

It’s really disappointing to see a place I used to recommend go downhill like this. Unfortunately, this was my last visit.

The Chicken Katsu is always perfectly crispy, and the sauce is unbelievably good—rich, tangy, and addictive. Paired with the fresh cabbage salad on the side, it hits all the right notes. The short rib is tender and flavorful, and the rice portion is just right—not too much, not too little.“

“My friend recommended Locale and wow, was it wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was top notch. The mussels were great as an appetizer and the seafood pasta was perfectly cooked. For a little giddy up, I added the hot pepper oil, and it was delightful. The warm sour dough bread was a great adfition. Roman, and team, did a stellar job in looking after us this evening. I will go back for the pizza next time.“
