“Felt like a wonderful home made meal. Warm, hearty vegan platter which was great value! Not to mention delicious. The owner was a sweet and gentle man, felt like he was truly concerned with our well being. One note is to move away from styrofoam but otherwise just amazing! Highly recommend as this is one of the best vegan places I've been to!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan“
“I'm just sad that I did not discover this place sooner before they stop having dining in services. The person behind the counter was full of energy and love. Just exactly what a vegan place is all about. But all the same, I will be back even if it's just for take out. I love this place. And very reasonable prices too!“
“Delicious pizza conveniently located. Definitely a cut above rival options in the immediate area. All slices including gourmet are all one price so this seems the way to go. High quality ingredients. Took off one point as I wish there was a little more tomato sauce on the ready to eat slices because every element is truly great but otherwise 5 stars. Last visit yesterday made me a real fan.Vegetarian options: Loved the ricotta spinach tomato pizza as well as the Canadiana.“
“This was our first time experiencing Planta. The staff are very attentive and extremely friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was terrific!! We will go back for sure and think that you should treat yourself too!Vegetarian options: Incredible selection of very tasty vegan options“
“Tried out the testing menu. It was Plant Based, Innovative, and Delicious. The best ones were the simplest dishes.A few too many dishes with citrusy notes; The complex ones had too many elements, flavourful but maybe not necessary.Very warm and welcoming staff.Vegetarian options: Plant based“
“Planta, the vegan restaurant, exceeded all expectations during my recent dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability and plant-based cuisine. The menu at Planta is a true masterpiece, offering a wide array of innovative and flavorful dishes that cater to both vegans and non-vegans alike. The creativity and attention to detail in each dish are truly commendable. I started with their zesty avocado tartare, which was a burst of fresh flavors that left my taste buds. What truly sets Planta apart, though, is their commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. Knowing that every ingredient on my plate was not only delicious but also environmentally conscious added an extra layer of satisfaction to my meal. The service at Planta was exceptional, with knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer any questions about the menu and offer recommendations. The wine list and cocktail menu were equally impressive, providing the perfect accompaniments to our meals.“
“Stunned. We came here for the first time for an anniversary dinner and we left speechless. The food is divine. Highly recommend the eggplant parmesan sliders, pistachio ravioli and the apple fritters. The owners are both so kind and our server, Scott, was very attentive and friendly.“
“Eager to try the famous Maha’s, we found a cozy ambiance here, wonderful & quick service and on top of all, absolutely delicious food!Their famous lentil soup was fabulous (despite not being a typically fan of lentil soup, let’s say). The date grilled cheese was unique, perhaps a tad too sweet than anticipated, but the fried potatoes offered a nice balance. The basturma scramble was everything I wished for my brunch & beyond. Delicious eggs, oustanding bread & refreshing salad.I cannot wait to come back and try other delicacies from the menu!“
“This is a win for the vegan community for sure, this is a gem within Toronto. The menu is fantastic and there are some great flavors and textures throughout the experience as well as some very well crafted mocktails. The restaurant is warm and inviting, as well as small and intimate. The staff is absolutely wonderful and make sure you have a great night. This is definitely a must for a date night.“
“Caked Coffee is on a mission to change the world. They make delicious food and delicious coffee and tea. They do not charge money for drinks, and that creates a beautifully warm and inviting atmosphere. This is a truly unique bakery and coffee shop. I have never met such wonderful people that I now consider to be a part of my family. My new favorite menu item is the tofu scramble croissant. 100% vegan. 200% delicious.“
“As a non-vegan, Tsuchi cafe's food was really good. I was very surprised by how delicious it was. Though they have a limited seated area, this place is definitely a must try. I loved the Karepan and the walnut brownie. The pistachio natcha tart was okayish. The flan was really good!“
“Great food, great atmosphere and friendly service ❤ I am not very familiar with Ethiopian / Eritrean food so to try things out I got the Vegan Veggie Combo Platter which had samples of about 14 different dishes and a salad. It was great, served on injera (a crepe-like bread) which is used as the cutlery so on top of being delicious, it was fun to eat!“
“Dined at the Bean Sprout for the first time with my daughter who is Celiac. The lunch buffet was hot. The food was fresh, and there was a great selection to choose from that was all gluten-free.Will definitely return for the lunch buffet and order dishes to go to enjoy at home.“
“Sunday morning. First time here. How could we do that, where have we been missing the best vegan food in Canada. Amazing quality, portions, presentation, taste above and beyond. Thank you Maria, our hostess, such a great smile, we asked her to choose for us , I know which we shouldn't, her choices were the best. Now the music from the 80s just complements everything“
“Step into a world of tantalizing flavors at this vegan Vietnamese gem, where Vicky's warm hospitality elevates the dining experience. From savory pho to mouthwatering banh mi, every dish bursts with authenticity and plant-based goodness. Don't miss out on this culinary adventure – it's a must-try for vegans and foodies alike!“
“Discovering Raw Aura was a delightful surprise for a vegan family seeking tasty and friendly dining options. The warmth of the place immediately made us feel at home, and the excitement was palpable, especially among the kids, who couldn’t get enough of the kale chips. The zucchini noodles were a fresh take on a classic, but the yellow coconut curry noodles stole the show, earning the title of “the best” with ease. While the nut portion was generous, it contributed to the richness of the dishes, adding a satisfying depth of flavor.Don’t leave without trying their desserts! The key lime cheesecake was a dream, striking the perfect balance between tart and sweet, while the carrot cake was moist, spiced to perfection, and utterly unforgettable. Raw Aura isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a haven for vegans looking for delicious, wholesome food that delights both adults and kids alike.Vegetarian options: Vegan“
“We really enjoyed our experience at Veggie D’light. I called ahead since we were coming from Oshawa and the woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. We then travelled to one of our favourite places Kensington Market to this restaurant. They were welcoming and offered us a taste of the soup since we had travelled so far. It was delicious. We placed our order and ordered enough for dinner the next day too! The food was very tasty and loved the roti shell! ( not too hot though and we like the heat) we were offered scotch bonnet sauce but I find that too much. We really enjoyed our food, good portions for the cost. We would definitely recommend and definitely will return!“
“Best vegan Chinese food I have ever had! We had kung pao “chicken”, green beans with soy chops, and eggplant and tofuVegetarian options: Everything in here is vegan, so plenty options for vegetarians as well!Dietary restrictions: dairy free meals“
“The happy hour menu has great deals. The ambiance is refreshing, and the service is praiseworthy. We have had a couple of experiences when the servers were non attentive. However, recently a friend spilt their drink and our server was very patient and helpful. She went a step further and replaced the drink. 5 stars for that.“
“Great place for vegetarian viatnamese food!if you like faux meats- this is your place to go!Good portion sizes for the priceHad the rice with black bean tofu and garlic veggies- very tasty and well balanced mealVegetarian options: its a complete vegetarian place“

“I took my partner here for his birthday dinner and we were blown away. He’s a chef and we’re usually pretty picky about these more upscale dining experiences but this one surpassed our expectations. Absolutely everything was delicious and creative and the ambiance was wonderful. I’m not usually drawn to vegan restaurants but this one is a must visit.“
“Great little Vegan spot. My partner is vegan and we love a fully vegan menu because it’s fun and easy to order. The food was great, well priced and quick. Nice staff and very cosy atmosphere. Will be back to try more of the menu.Did I mention it’s 100% vegan! Even if you aren’t vegan or someone that usually avoids vegan places, I highly recommend popping in and giving it a go. Amazing food.Vegetarian options: 100% VEGAN!“
“With today being international women's day, I thought what better time to recognize a female owned business who is 5 star in every category possible! First visit was today, place was spotless clean, meals were packaged exceptionally well, a huge variety to choose from, plant based with no oil for majority of the menu, and the tipping point of making this place exceptional is the owner! Karen greeted me with a smile, had my order ready, provided a ton of tips and suggestions, and even walked the items to my car. Thanks to Good Grains my meal planning is going to be so much easier to stick with now that I don't have to shop or cook!! I highly recommend Good Grains, in a world of processed fatty foods, this place is refreshing for the soul and good for it as well! Such a pleasure meeting Karen and I look forward to more trips here and incorporating Good Grains into my meal routine and health improvement. Keep doing what you are doing Karen, we need more places like this and more owners like you!!“
“I visited this amazing vegetarian restaurant on the occasion of Mahashivratri. The ambience is simply amazing. The candles look great. Their menu is short and sweet. Prices are extremely reasonable.I think they don’t use onion’s & garlic in their preparations.I ordered:1. Samosa chaat: It was samosa with chickpeas and chutneys. They don’t add curd or onions. It was good but I’ll ask to reduce sweet sauce next time.2. Kachori: It was good but bit dry as such to eat and they serve kachori chaat only on Sat & Sun.The staff was very friendly. It was the first time I wasn’t asked to tip in Toronto. I would totally recommend Govinda’s to everyone.“
“I went there for my wife's birthday dinner and the food was amazing. We had Falafel, Banaganuj and Lamb skewers and everything was deliciously good. The right quantity at a reasonable price. The lamb skewers with rice is a standout. Had a really nice experience here. We also had a complimentary Kunafa Ashta on the house as a special treat for birthday. The menu at this place is straightforward and the drinks were fantastic, the food was also perfect, reason why they are always busy.!!!Definitely will come back!!!“
“I love this little bakery in a perfect location, a quiet, easy bakery/cafe. The staff and service is kind, quick, and friendly. They know everything about the food/drink options if you have questions, including allergies (nuts). Many people are afraid of the word vegan, but these baked items are just as delicious as non-vegan baked items. I recommend the raspberry twist (my all-time fav). Don't be shy to give it a try!“
“First time visit and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious - try the goat curry, it was amazing! We also had the goat biryani also fantastic. The service was really great, attentive staff, willing to take time to describe the dishes. Would recommend.“
“Vegetarian smash burger on the fluffiest bun. Their waffle fries were also fresh, crispy and well seasoned. The patty was a bit thin but they do offer a double patty burger. I think the impossible meat burger might need to be thin because it doesn't have the same texture as ground beef. But it charred well and had good flavour. There's limited space to sit and eat in stores but the service is fast and it's a burger so seating turnover is pretty quick too. Would definitely come back again but maybe for takeout next time. There's also open super late into the night!“
“Went there to celebrate our daughter bday. Was an absolutely right choice. First time there and definitely coming back. Three of us picked all different things, and all got shared. Brie is amazing, arancini is our son's fav, Maitake mushroom is a blast, Bucatini full of different flavours, and, oh, Zio Pablo cocktail! Next time trying the rest.Vegetarian options: There are some dishes we asked to replace with plant based (no cheese or eggs)“
“My partner is not a vegan and he said the donuts are 10/10 and also he loves fritters and he said the chocolate banana fritter is the best he’s ever had. I’m obsessed with the carrot cake donut and the red velvet donut. We have tried so many of the donuts and they’re all great but some are perfect.“
“Absolutely incredible vegan journey! Where is your Michelin star?! Some of the dishes have an exquisite umami punch-through that hits the mark hard. So spot-on!Other than that, the bar area tables should be replaced as you cannot fit your legs between the table legs due to the design of having a table leg at each corner. Very uncomfortable in the bar area. Sore thighs and back pains.“
“I have been a customer of Fresh for a long time… from the days it was called Juice for Life (Bloor location). The food is amazing here, and you always feel good after your meal. Go— your body will thank you for it!Kid-friendliness: They are always kind an accommodating toward kids!“
“It’s a beautiful place in a great neighbourhood. The food is actually really good I was nervous at first but the deluxe burger was sooo good and the fries are real potatoes and look cooked instead of deep fried. They taste very good. Highly “
“This is the best vegan restaurant in Toronto! The menu is extensive and creative, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous. The food is consistently delicious and nourishing, and the service is very friendly.Vegetarian options: All dishes at vegan (and therefore vegetarian) at this restaurant.“
“I absolutely loved the food, everything was made with fresh ingredients and the sauces were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the squash tacos and dragon fries. When I mentioned to the waitress that I was fasting, she kindly brought me some extra dates to break my fast,I didn't ask for them, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture. The atmosphere is fantastic as well. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!“
“First of all I will say that I am not a vegan but inspire to be and these cheesecakes are to die for, like honestly! I have tried all of the flavours and I personally like the Espresso Choc. Chip and Raspberry. I highly recommend this company for gluten free, soy free, dairy free and refined sugar free tasty desserts.“
“Vegan food, thoughtfully composed, well prepared and nicely presented. The menu is broad with salads, sandwiches, desserts, smoothies etc. Something for everyone. Prices are fair and the overall experience delightful.Service is at the bar and delivery to the table. Nothing fancy furniture-wise, but a pleasing aesthetic nevertheless. Highly recommended for vegans, vegetarians and anyone looking for a nutritious meal.“
“Truely the best vegan burger I have ever had. I wasn't much of a burger eater in the past because I found them so mundane... that was until the day I first tried the Notorious Burger (my personal fav)!! From the softest bun imaginable, to the explosively delicious flavour... my mouth and tummy were overjoyed. And, To top it all off: The service has always been impeccable and consistent. No one can compete in my eyes and heart. I love you Guerrilla Burger! xoxo“
“Everytime I’ve been to this pizzaiolo location, the food is always so tasty and fresh. The crust is crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, with generous toppings. And the young Asian man at the store front is always so friendly and helpful.“
“We were extremely happy with our Cake from bunners, my sister is fully vegan and finding a Last minute cake was hard until I found bunners, they are able to accommodate next day orders as long as you order before 12 the day before. The options to customize the cake fully to our liking was fantastic and the cake turned out exactly how I wanted it to! Not only was it beautifully done, but tasted delicious as well. A concern for myself was the moistness but that wasn’t a problem at all, everybody at our dinner enjoyed it and had no complaints.“
“Great appetizers! March 23/24- we came a bit more west to here and it didn’t disappoint! Most of my relatives came here for dinner and the food and service was an A but the lively atmosphere was an A+! The area was very clean and the price was fantastic!“
“I ordered a selection of cinnamon buns for my nephew's birthday - they were so awesome and delicious. Also, I really appreciated the attention to detail with the packaging...they wrote "handle with care" on the outside of the box and they were delivered perfectly in great shape. Thank you!“
“I visited the Animal Liberation Kitchen today and tried the gyro. It was phenomenal! I am very excited to go back as the staff were so friendly and kind, and there is tons more stuff on the menu that I would love to try. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious cruelty-free meal in Toronto!“
“Friendly service with tasty food :”) We tried the Imitation Duck & Vegetable on Pan - Fried Noodle and the Veggie Salty Fish & Soy Chicken Fried Rice. The Noodle won us over and the Fried Rice was also delicious. The secret is that they have marinated bean curds and were skillfully processed to create a chewy and mouth-watering flavour.Honestly speaking, similar to what other reviews stated, the dishes are indeed pretty oily, however the green bean sprouts help balancing the taste so it’s not too bad. If you are used to Southeast Asian dishes then this would be right up your alley.“
“Wonderful experience and felt exceptionally well-treated. I brought a date here after dinner last night and we walked in an hour before closing. There was one one employee working. She told us about "THE" Ethiopian coffee ceremony, which was a touted option on the menu. I was intrigued and yet felt bad I'd make this poor girl do all that work around closing time. However she seemed really enthusiastic and we enjoyed everything about it. Thank you so much Senedu for the hospitality and information. That coffee was absolutely delicious ?. I'll be back to try the food!“
“I’m not vegan but a family member has severe dietary restrictions. The food is delicious! We went for brunch. We had gluten free pancakes with berries and the Alfredo sausage pasta. The service was awesome, they were patient and very knowledgeable.Vegetarian options: This is a vegan restaurant, everything is a vegetarian option.Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan and gluten free options, and probably more, that’s just what I know of for sure.“
“Loved the healthy and tasty food ,fast service and love this location with CV plenty of parking. The atmosphere is amazing, the plants overhead are cool, they have a bar too. My non-vegan friend wanted to try the food and loved it, we will be back!“
“Worth trying.Bar Review:Already tipsy topsy so we obviously had a good time. Bartender was fantastic fun, only because he's part of the whopper crew. Held down the fort all by himself that night.Drink prices are very reasonable. Not a lot of seating, 2 spots for groups of 7-9 ish, otherwise bar seating and 2 tops.“
“Owner is cool and the worker , at first I thought they are not friendly but after over n over going they are absolutely good heart in person , food is fantastic always new cooked , what I like there is the roti with stuffing all kind for one order is a lot for one person ,“
