“It’s been a long time since my last visit. The service is still top-notch, but the dinner premium set has noticeably fewer food options now. The 4-broth pot is too small, and the vegetables are cut so long that it's really hard to fit them into the compartments to cook. The most frustrating part is that they got rid of the crème brûlée and milk pudding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new dessert replacements just don't taste very good!!!!!!!!!

Its a family owned business, the food looked delicious, the mandu and kalguksu were delicious and I recommend coming here. The owner is so nice and caring, the food has very generous portions. “So many vegan sushi options, made fresh. Portions sizes are also huge and they are very generous with the fresh ingredients - especially the avocado! We didn’t realize this is more of a take-out place and not a sit-down restaurant (my own fault for not doing proper research beforehand) and as we aren’t local to the area and it was pouring rain when we got there, taking our food to go wasn’t really an option. The lovely lady who served us was kind enough to set up 4 chairs around the one table they had in the shop and really did her best to ensure we had a “real meal” that closely resembled a full restaurant experience in the small space at the front of the shop, which we really appreciated!“

The bingsu portions are actually pretty big you can definitely share one between two people cuz I was struggling to finish my Oreo Cheesecake Bingsu by myself 😂. It was super refreshing with fluffy shaved milk ice, mini Oreos, chocolate sauce, bean powder, and chunks of cheesecake.

The Mango Bingsu was also really good! The mango tasted fresh and sweet. We also ordered another flavor Injeolmi bingsu, it was delicious too my sister finished it so fast!

To balance out all the sweetness and the cold dessert, we also got the sweet and salty rice cakes with sausages, which paired really well. It’s hot and crispy. Overall, the prices are definitely worth it compared to other bingsu places I’ve been to. Great portions, refreshing desserts, and a perfect spot to cool off on a hot summer day! Customer service is great and the spacing is pretty big too!“

“Amazing baked goods. Sweets ,pies ,cakes pizza dough. So many wonderful items. I feel safe buying them and thats a bonus. I have Dermatitis Herpetiformis an autoimmune disease to gluten. Check out what they have you will not be disappointed .“

“Great store for everyone, vegetarian/vegan food is delicious for all! There is a great labelling system where colours indicate ingredients, yellow for egg, white for dairy, green for vegan.

Prices are good, lots of variety, and there are imported products that can't be found anywhere else. The store owner is a nice lady too.“

“Incredibly tasting mock meat. There are a ton of options, from mock chicken to lamb, pork, beef, El, shrimp, bacon, and duck! The mock duck is uncanny how real and yummy it appears and tastes! I'd serve this at a dinner party to nonvegans as it is very convincing and probably tastier than the real thing. It's nice to have access to compassionate 'meats'; no killing or harm; just yummy food made from plants!“

“Just went taste and observe their food & service after reading google reviews. Yes! It’s a kitchen per its Name, not a restaurant. Ordered Both Veg & Non- Veg items to span taste their servings. Presence of Kiosk is impressive, but the human welcoming , presence and thanking for customer’s business is missed! Couldn’t see Even a simple smile on the kitchen delivery desk agent, how hands over the orders. Wish they endure a bit a human touch at the end point of business.

Now coming to variety and taste of the food, as a person who had tasted different south Asian restaurants, for 3 decades, CK Taste is Excellent!

Giving 4 star, as I feel there is still space in improving the kitchen atmosphere, friendly & smiling/ more courteous agents at the delivery desk and having an open mind to receive negative reviews as well and finding ways to turn around the situation into positive outcome. I say this as I went through most of Reviews and how owner reacts( part of business acumen)
Wish them good luck and I Hope they work on negative reviews as well and improve their service, competitive pricing and hope they open more branches in greater Toronto area and elsewhere.

“My friends and I have now been going to Gabby's for quite a few times, maybe about 6 by now, usually on Sundays. The last couple of times have been on a Friday and Monday. We are mostly handicapped, using walkers or a wheelchair. I usually make the reservation, and specify a table near the lovely large windows. It has never been a problem on Sundays, but there seems to be one waitress who objects to our sitting near the window as we will "block" the servers. It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays. We love this restaurant and the food and atmosphere is so great, usually. Most disappointing.“

I visited there to grab a couple of slices for my dinner, but Akash and Nidhi completely changed my mind with their amazing service and great attitude! “Great food, so many people who know the dishes, being of the same culture, queuing up patiently can't be wrong. There's two places to queue up from, the hot tables with the meal items like biryanis, curries etc. and there's the line that starts with the burfi. The curries and biryanis are delicious. The tandoori chicken leg is great and a generous size for the price. Don't forget the naan or roti. The burfi are a beautiful mosaic of colourful sweets and the ones I've tried are addictive. Next along the counters and displays are the hot snacks like spring rolls, mutton rolls (there's the vegie version as well) and the namesake snack... The samosas!!! The samosas are the most popular and they continually bring out more doing their best to keep up with the demand. Tons of people come in just for these triangles of yumminess from people buying big boxes of them for dinner at home, at a friend's house or even the company potluck to working folk stopping in for a delicious and affordable lunch that could very well fit in under the PST threshold even today in 2024. Unless you're eating them in the car as part of your limited lunchtime, the chutneys are amazing and not to be missed. There is also chai which is pretty good, but it is served nuclear hot. All in all, you can get not one, but two pretty large meals for three people for not much more than what you'll spend on McShit... If you love Indian food, this is a great place or if you're new to Indian cuisine, definitely a place to try some dishes for the first time.“
