“We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! The most thing I like is the fruit tea, best combination with BBQ. Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!“

“It’s been a long time since my last visit. The service is still top-notch, but the dinner premium set has noticeably fewer food options now. The 4-broth pot is too small, and the vegetables are cut so long that it's really hard to fit them into the compartments to cook. The most frustrating part is that they got rid of the crème brûlée and milk pudding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new dessert replacements just don't taste very good!!!!!!!!!

“The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The tonkatsu burger in particular remains juicy inside the cutlet, but is loaded with toppings and pairs well with their own house mayo blend.
Be aware that seating is bar style and limited - it is not the most comfortable place to sit.“

“I took my husband for a nice Valentine's Day dinner and the experience was great! The food met expectations and is definitely up there with Saito. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well! The only minor thing I'd say is that there were some fruit flies wanting to have dinner with us too so if that can be kept under control then it's definitely top tier! “So many vegan sushi options, made fresh. Portions sizes are also huge and they are very generous with the fresh ingredients - especially the avocado! We didn’t realize this is more of a take-out place and not a sit-down restaurant (my own fault for not doing proper research beforehand) and as we aren’t local to the area and it was pouring rain when we got there, taking our food to go wasn’t really an option. The lovely lady who served us was kind enough to set up 4 chairs around the one table they had in the shop and really did her best to ensure we had a “real meal” that closely resembled a full restaurant experience in the small space at the front of the shop, which we really appreciated!“

“Had a late dinner here with my family Saturday night. So many wonderful choices on the menu. We ordered from the combination Bento. Bento box 1 - 2 orders which was delicious teriyaki salmon. 1 Bento box # 2 with beef Bulgogi. 1 order of assorted tempura, and 1 order of the Philadelphia special roll. All of the meals were absolutely delicious, everrything was fresh, and very tasty, our eyes were bigger then our tummies. “Been buying here ever since they opened, sashimi was my favourite go-to. However, their sashimi slices have noticeably gone thinner, almost like when you eat it you can’t really enjoy it as much as before. I hope they bring back their usual slices for sashimi.“

“We come here often with friends. It is typically priced for an all you can eat sushi place. There is a very good variety of sushi, sashimi, skewers, and what you would expect from an AYCE place, but more! We've had a couple of incidents were a few of our options didn't taste the most fresh, but considering the amount of times we've eaten here and are mostly very satisfied, it doesn't really bother me. Dessert options are good as well (are favourites in the picture below). Staff are very friendly and the service is fast once you order.“

“I’ve never had an issue with Mac Sushi.Always fresh, I go around lunch time. Not necessarily looking for the after 5pm special.Salmon is always buttery - they use fresh fish allll the time in my opinion & Spicy salmon roll is so flavourful.I have a better time with Mac Sushi over some of my typical sushi restaurants. I hate thick cuts of salmon so Mac Sushi knows that they are doing and knows how to cut a decent piece of fish for eating.The customer service is always great, I’m never rushed, the attendants are patient with me and so kind.I have my go to spots to get a nice snack at the STC and Mac sushi is one of them. The price is also decent for me. No complaint on pricing. Also always so clean!“
