my dinner and it was amazing! I got the chicken teriyaki bento box with shrimp tempura @ California rolls. You have options for sides which is really cool! “Ordered delivery and everything was absolutely delicious. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, the sashimi was fresh, and the cheese wontons were perfectly crispy. The spicy salmon and spicy crab rolls were also really good. Everything arrived fresh and well prepared, and the prices are very fair. Their dine in AYCE option is consistently great as well.“

“Just tried Midami Sushi in downtown Whitby for the first time and all the 5 star google reviews were true. The staff were great and the food was amazing quality with huge portions for the price. We didn’t order sushi but had the Chicken Poke bowl and the chicken teriyaki. salad and miso soup included were also top notch. Highly recommend“

“I have been meaning to try this place for years, due to a friend telling me about it. The food is quality, and you can see the care in the presentation. To eat the fresh onigiri for lunch is very delightful, soft rice pillow of savoury. The popular one is the beef sukiyaki, but I was very delighted by the salmon one. Friday and Saturday get very busy, so advise planning ahead and ordering ahead for take out. Perfect for quiet lunch.“

One of the best spots in Durham Region! The staff were very friendly and accommodated my glutten free needs. They were always busy and had people waiting for a table when we left. Our first time here and we will be back!“

The owner and the staff are absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our entire meal. It is rare to find a place where the service is just as excellent as the food, but this spot nails it.
If you are looking for top-tier sushi and a genuinely nice, friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go.“

“I was wandering around the food court at the mall in Pickering, looking for something to eat. Edo Japan caught my attention so I tried their Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and it was really good, better than I expected! It was freshly cooked to order and had really nice flavours with generous portions. The bento box meal also included California rolls, gyoza, and a drink. Great deal, good food! I'll be back!“

“This is great quality Japanese food! So so happy we discovered this hidden gem in Ajax! The food came out fast, everything was so delicious, even simple food like the karaage and gyoza tasted amazing. There was a good selection of sushi rolls and everything we ordered tasted fresh and yummy!
We will definitely be back, especially when it’s warm enough to sit outside - they have an amazing patio seating in the centre of the courtyard!“
