“i regret not finding out this place sooner! my boys and I came back from snow tubing and we were starving and craving for sushi. i remember someone mentioning about this place and since we only live 15 minutes away, we decided to give it a try! we ordered the salmon combo (the one with the maki, nigiri and sashimi) and some other rolls but the lady owner was super kind and attentive that she stopped me at two rolls saying that that may be enough for the three of us! i thought so too but little did i know my boys and I enjoyed their food so much that we ended up ordering a few more rolls! i also asked if we’d only get one soup because we only ordered one combo but the lady owner was super sweet and offered two more on the house! (i was so thankful because it was such a very cold and snowy day!)

the restaurant is clean and the layout is simple yet the place is very inviting, and the ladies there were very friendly! i asked my sons how they enjoyed it and they said they would definitely come again!“

“Always a treat to come here. I have had their lunch special before work. The platter orders are great, and in a timely manner. One of my favourite sushi places to go. The stuff are great. The diner takes you back a decade in decor; it adds charm to stopping in.“

The service is absolutely amazing with the friendliest staff imaginable, the atmosphere is amazing, make sure to ask for a booth in your reservation to really kick it up a level!
The food is fresh and very tasty, we got the chicken Katsu Dinner and they changed the style of it and it’s really really good, nothing like I’ve ever eaten before (see attached photo). I’ve had great experience here with my girlfriend will definitely be coming back to fulfill my sushi cravings“

Having lived by the ocean, I know when fish is fresh, and Kozy's sushi is exceptionally fresh and delicious. He noticed we had been waiting for a while and kindly offered us miso soup and extra sushi on the house. Although the restaurant is small, it adds to the cozy atmosphere and didn’t bother me at all. “Ordered takeout from this place on a weekday. The resto occupies the spot that Apron Cafe used to sit in.

My order was ready in 15-20 min. Walked in and was greeted warmly by the hostess who handed me my food.

I ordered a yuzu miso pork loin and an okonomiyaki.

The pork was crispy and juicy. The miso sauce was great! I get very similar vibes between this place and Katsuya. The menus also look VERY similar.

Okonomiyaki was tasty as well. I liked the fresh salad on top.

Overall, food quality was excellent! I do think it was quite pricey though for the quantity of food. Prolly wouldn't be a regular because of the price.

Will return to try some of their other katsu flavours!“

“We had lunch and all rolls on our first visit, overall the taste was quite good, rice seasoned nice and fish seemed fresh.

Lots of good value combo's at lunch time.

Couple of things come to mind; rolls were a bit loose and rice was a bit thick, also it was weird that tonkatsu sauce was used as a drizzle on their rolls vs a sweeter base.

I give them 7.5/10!“

Excellent broth, flavor and noodles. The spicy beef is actually Sichuan spicy flavor, you get the numbing and tingling feeling in your mouth. Very thin slices of beef, feels a bit like hotpot and they soak up the spicy.oil nicely.

Black garlic filet mignon, generous amount, very nice fragrance of black sesame oil. The beef was quite tender.

Overall, we find the broth a bit too salty, a 5-10% less salty would be perfect. The takoyaki was a bit undercooked on the inside. The fried ebi was a little overcooked.

“I’ve been to ATO countless times, starting from when they first opened. Their service has always been excellent, and the Japanese sushi chef pays close attention to each guest. When they first opened, they even gave us some extra sushi with the omakase. For a while, their omakase menu price went up significantly, but it didn’t impress me more, so I felt the value wasn’t great and went less often. Recently, though, I’ve given it a few more tries, and now the menu is back to under $100 per person, featuring premium ingredients like toro and uni. Even the dessert is crown melon. Based on the reviews, we decided to try this place since Cafe Mozaiko looked like a good choice.

We didn’t check the menu, but it was exactly the kind of food we like. My son went for his usual order of the spicy salmon bowl. He said it was unbelievable and one of the best he has had. It came with pickled ginger, pickled seaweed and a spicy mayo. We decided to order chicken karaage bento for a change. The chicken was melt-in-the-mouth and the coating was very flavourful with the right amount of crisp. The sesame sauce it came with was also great. The rice was seasoned and paired very well with the chicken, not dry at all. The lychee iced tea had fresh lychee bits and was very flavourful. The taro milk tea tasted like real taro and the boba was good too.

Overall, a fantastic experience and we’ll be back to try the sushi.“

Worthy for money in comparison to other sushi restaurants.

The sashimi is fresh and sweet. This supports what the owner says, that is, they use fresh sashimi everyday.

The rice portion of the sushi is just fit, not too much. Appreciate. This will not make you feel full too early.
