“Really enjoyed the food here! I had the spicy bulgogi bento box and my husband ordered the teokbokki and assorted sushi. Everything tasted great from the tea, to the salad, to the soup, to the mains. I usually don't comment on the tea, soup and salad, but when you've had bad food elsewhere, you really appreciate good food.
The service was great, and the restaurant was decorated nicely with nice tall, tufted, booths.

“good value and portion of in the town richmond hill ontario. we went early for dinner thus service is better and quieter. the chicken karaage is diff from traditional ones as not using corn starch but used batted coating; surprisingly good thin coating juicy and the wasabi dressing
was matching perfectly. the beef mushroom cream sauce pasta is good too but a bit heavy on the cheese and the cream. a sharing dish. the pork loin set with the spicy demi glacéd sauce was good in generous portion and cutlet coating. somehow a bit dry on the loin. the sad was fresh; high light is the spicy sauce, we brought the leftover sauce home for other seafood dish. seating area is spacious; the music was a bit loud. a good place for dating and gathering. i will return for other dishes. cheers“

“Sushi and sashimi are always fresh and food from the grill is good value. Most meals come with soup and salad which is an appreciated addition. The food from the grill can be inconsistent at times i.e. overcooked. Service is generally very good and the staff is very accomodating.“

“This was my first time coming here and I was very impressed! First off the older man who served me was very kind and had excellent customer service, I would come back just because of that. Besides the customer service the food was delicious too! I got the salmon and shrimp sushi burrito and a free miso soup that i got because of an ongoing deal and both were absolutely delicious!! The soup was very good which was nice because i find miso soup can be very hit or miss. There were carrots in the soup which was something I had never seen before in miso soup, personally I don’t like carrots so I didn’t like that but I can totally see how others would enjoy that! The burrito was definitely the best sushi burrito I have ever had, everything was very well balanced and fresh! I like how they fry one side of the rice to crisp it up and keep it from getting soggy from all of the ingredients, its such a simple touch but it really goes a long way and it was a factor of the burrito that I really appreciated. All the seafood was very fresh and good quality and the shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy. I got teriyaki sauce on the side but it was so unnecessary, it totally overpowered all of the delicious flavours! Price wise it’s a little on the pricey side but for high quality sushi I think that’s understandable. Overall I really enjoyed this place and I will definitely be coming back again!!“

“This is usually our go to, food is usually very good. However it seems like every time we go back they change everything from menus to recipes, to what they offer, down to every detail like how much dipping sauce they give you with some of the sides.
But regardless I find I always return compared to other Ramen places.
I just really wish if they keep changing things, please get rid of the sumo wrestler orgy all over on the walls and perhaps more fitting music that isn’t 2010s pop artist playlists on repeat“

“I love Golden Maki! All of their food is fresh to order and so delicious. I love all the varieties and how much you can order for a lunch AYCE menu. The new decor is awesome and renovations look great! I'm craving Golden Maki as I'm writing this!“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.

The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.

I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.

Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.

I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.

Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.

They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)

It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.

It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.

I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.

But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“
