“Always love the food and service at this location. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. I like that it is more spacious than other locations so I never have to worry about waiting too long for a table. It is my go to spot for authentic and tasty Korean food. Some of my favourites are KamJaTang, JapChae, Bulgogi and LA Kalbi. Next time will try the Korean friend chicken!“
“Not busy for lunch on a Thursday.Service was quick. Can get refills on the side dishes.Water chestnut cake was really good.Steak was tender.Pork belly thick cut was perfect for grilling.Tea is included.Complimentary soup was steamy, but a bit on the salty side.“
“This bibimbap was so good! Packed with veggies: radish, mushroom, carrots, cucumber and some beef and egg, under a bed of purple rice. I don’t like purple rice but this place makes it so good.Such a hidden gem for sure. I’ve been coming back for a few days now!“
“Pork Bone Soup is a must try with chunks of meat that easily falls off the bone and served on a portable cook top to keep the soup warm, which is perfect for winter. It is said to have lots of health benefits. Large size is good for sharing with 4 or 5 person. They have limited items on their menu but they sell the best tteokbokki I have ever tried. Price is reasonable.“
“Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, the portions were great, the food was made to order. We loved their Wasabi mayo. Can't wait to go back and try the dumplings!Parking: Sufficient spots for the plaza but they are a little tight and awkward. Definitely easier for a car than a truck to park here.“
“Food is homemade. The cook and owner is a one-woman show. She is focused on preparing a delicious meal for you and does a good job. There are a few stools and counter space but it is essentially a take-out joint. The banchan is very good and changes often. The myeolchi bokkeum (crunchy stir fried anchovies with nuts was to-die-for. Suggest calling in your order to avoid waiting in the shop as it is quite small. Reasonable prices and large portions. Cash or debit only.“
“Mrs.Park's food is a stand out! Our organization ordered catering for 50 staff members and all were beyond impressed. Her Bibimbap was authentic and her variety of sauces were able to feed everyone from spicy lovers, meat lovers, to neither! She curated a personalized menu for our team and ensured all dietary needs were met. Not to mention the delivery service by her team were so kind and accommodating to our difficult to find unit. I would 10/10 recommend Mrs.Park's Kitchen to anyone looking for an authentic and high quality Korean food experience. Thank you Mrs.Park!“
“Was craving dumplings so tried this place out! Price$15-$25 per personItems ordered:- Pan fried lamb dumplings -Soup Dumplings -Shrimp Kimchi Fried Rice -Green Onion Pancake-Korean Spare Ribs-Pork egg and chives dumplings -Pork and pickled -Beef Pancake Roll-Lamb skewersFood Quality (Menu, Taste, Portion size) - 5/5We were surprised that this place was recommended for their Korean and "on the wok" items, but both were great. Not as much dumpling options as I imagined but the menu is hugeee. The price you pay for what you get is such a steal. The size of the dumplings were great and every item was juicy and flavorful. Everything was well cooked. Our favourite was the korean spare ribs, the meat fell off the bone so easily. I miss all the food already. Atmosphere - 4/5Classic Chinese restaurant vibe that felt very homey. A lot of seating options and great for both families or smaller groups. The parking is a bit of a mess because it's a small lot so you might need to park at one of the nearby plazas. Service - 4/5The staff was nice and helpful. There wasn't a lot of staff working at the time, so could see it being a little slow when it's more crowded. Will I go again?10000% Really want to try the "on the wok" items. Lash's Recommendations- Spare Ribs -Soup Dumplings -Pork egg and chive dumplings -Pan fried lamb dumplings-Pan fried pickled cabbage dumplings“
“No JOKBAL, everything is better with Garlic? We got their Garlic Jokbal. Jokbal is Korean Pig’s Trotter braised in seasoning! This place specializes in it, and their Jokbals are AMAZING, super meaty, tender, flavourful, and full of collagen! First time trying their Garlic Jokbal, it came super garlicky, aside from crispy Garlic Slices, it also topped with a sweetish Garlic Sauce! This order of Jokbal also came with Kimchi, Scallions, Lettuce as side dishes and a Beansprout Soup, def a decent meal for 2!“
“This place is one of my favorite chicken restaurants. It's crispy outside and tender inside. I'll definitely go again.I used to go there often when the restaurant was in Finch, but I was sad that it was gone. But I'm very glad to find it again. I think the chicken tastes the best here!“
“The shop opens at noon. When we went, there were already 3 to 4 people waiting outside for the shop to open. Once inside we ordered pork bone soup. The soup is well seasoned and hot, perfect for a chilly day. If you like your soup spicy, I'd recommend asking for more spice.“
“The owner was super friendly! Every time she came to the table, she praised my family for our good choices and encouraged us to eat more, just like a mother/grandmother would. It was busy when we went, but they quickly cleaned a table for us. Food was delicious, particularly the Korean fried chicken. Comes with free side dishes.“
“This seems like an extremely underrated place. These guys serve Bento boxes, teriyaki, chirashi bowls, and various sushi rolls. They have excellent food presentation. The cook really takes the time and effort to make the sushi rolls look nice. The waiter was attentive and caring. They gave us a discount and an extra miso soup on the house without asking. Thank you! :)“
“Pretty much a POGO of you had any of those. The food is pretty good and you can put all types of sauce on it.The size is pretty big too. Think of a jumbo sausage size and I'm pretty sure they use takeout chopsticks as skewers to hold it.All in all, a pretty good snack for any time if there day or night“
“Forgot to take photos but overall this place is pretty decent. I got the holiday special combo that included mentaiko shrimp, chili shrimp, unagi/eel and yuzu scallop. I also got their kimbap which was pretty tasty. The yuzu scallop was too yuzu for me but overall everything was pretty tasty. My only issue was everything was one dimensionally sweet and didn't have much of a savoury element. Heads up that you order from their massive tablet instead of talking to a person, kind of like the self serve kiosks at mcdonalds. I found it pretty easy but they also listed some things as out of stock when it was actually in stock when I asked for it (kimbap). So make sure you ask them if they have something even if it's OOS! While tasty, I don't think I'll come back again. It was good but not really my flavour profile. Maybe if they bring in some more savoury flavours I'll give it another try but for now I'm glad I tried it but not longing to come back.“
“Very good food, meat is fresh and the ice cream at the end of meal was good too , gave 5 star because of the food and serviceBut should improve the cleanliness of the washrooms , there was littered toilet paper on the floor, should put garbage cans in each stalls and next to the sink, more convenient for customers , especially for female customersShould sweep and mop the washroom floor more often , floor was bit sticky“
“Personally this is the best Korean bbq place i have ever had. I have been to a few Korean bbq places but for me no other place is better than Korean grill house. Never have been disappointed in this place also been in other location on younge street, both the old and the new location. There is something about their sauce anything tastes really good when dipping whatever you have cooked in it. The next you know you already had 4 or 7 bowls of rice. Would recommend this place good to bring big group of friends and the whole family. If haven’t tried Korean bbq before this is the best place to start. This will give you a better comparison when trying a different Korean bbq place.“
“Great service! The servers were attentive in changing the grills when they got greasy and the food came out really quick. Huge place, so even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait more than 5 mins to get a table (without a reservation).Parking: It's a busy plaza, but there's plenty of free parking options.“
“Gotta get the Rose rice cakes dish! (note: it does come with sausage and bacon and I'm not sure if you can ask for a substitution) I'd be happy to have plain fried chicken and just dip it into the sauce all day long! Also recommend the galbi flavour (tastes like honey garlic sauce) and it's soooo good!“
