“Great food at very reasonable prices! The fried chicken is sizeable and delicious, the soup items hit the spot, and their menu is quite extensive for Korean cuisine. What tops it all, is that the lovely lady who plays the role as host AND waitress is working so hard and taking care of so many tables - is so friendly, welcoming, and does everything with such a bright attitude and smile. With that alone, it makes a normal restaurant experience into a great one. Definitely our family’s go to Korean restaurant going forward. ❤️“

“Always love the food and service at this location. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. I like that it is more spacious than other locations so I never have to worry about waiting too long for a table. It is my go to spot for authentic and tasty Korean food. Some of my favourites are KamJaTang, JapChae, Bulgogi and LA Kalbi. Next time will try the Korean friend chicken!“

“A very delicious lunch bento box packed with a variety of side dishes. I ordered the kalbi and portion was generous for the price. The owner perfected the flavoring and seasoning of the dishes. Expect some wait time as the owner works alone and has a lot to prepare. Looking forward to coming back.“

Drove 45mins to return here for more, the food does not disappoint, the staff (husband and wife?) very nice and friendly, gave good portions, and greeted with a smile even a long day and we arrive at their closing time ~9pm. Thank you again Simply Kitchen!

“One of the best fried chicken places I’ve had, the sauces are delicious and chicken is so tender and juicy, not dry at all. Breading is also perfect, not too much. Lastly, it’s not shown in the photos but their fries were also amazing!

Be prepared to wait 15-20mins for your food though as it’s freshly cooked, but it’s honestly so worth it.“

“Mapo Gamjatang has the best pork bone soup in toronto. The food is delicious, but what makes this restaurant even more amazing are the waitresses' customer service skills. Their customer service is beyond amazing, and they always give me a very pleasant experience every time I visit. If you are looking for authentic korean pork bone soup, go to Mapo Gamjatang.“

“The Scarborough location was amazing! The food is decently priced and the location is great! I have been here a few times before and I have never been disappointed. This time I brought my parents and I asked them about accommodations for my dad. They said that they would be as accommodating as possible. They did not disappoint this time either. They helped my dad into and out of the booth and they took the wheelchair away and brought it back at the end. They really did a lot and were super helpful! Highly recommend!“

“Came here a few time with family and ordered the pork bone soup tower and the jokbal. Honestly the jokbal was a new experience and I quite liked it when wrapped in lettuce + sauce + garnishes. Pork bone soup tower was also great. The soup wasn’t too thick and umami was on the lighter end. Restaurant mostly had large portion sizes mostly suited for shareable between friends/family. Would recommend come trying out if you’re in the area and craving korean food. Food pairs well with their korean rice wine.“

“Mrs.Park's food is a stand out! Our organization ordered catering for 50 staff members and all were beyond impressed. Her Bibimbap was authentic and her variety of sauces were able to feed everyone from spicy lovers, meat lovers, to neither! She curated a personalized menu for our team and ensured all dietary needs were met. Not to mention the delivery service by her team were so kind and accommodating to our difficult to find unit. “You know the food is great when you’re still thinking about it days later! I ordered a chicken hot dog coated in fried ramen, topped with sweet mayo (traditional mayo, called sweet to distinguish it from spicy mayo), ketchup, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. It was absolutely delicious.

I discovered this place while at a crafting shop across the street, and I would make a special trip just to visit this restaurant. I wish there were places to sit inside and enjoy the food, as it’s more of a to-go establishment. However, it was probably the best food I had during my entire week in Toronto. If I had known it would be so delicious, I would have gotten at least three or four to go.

This place is a solid five stars, and the rating is extremely well deserved!“

“The food was pretty good and exceptional. It was worth it price wise and the largest plate can be shared with 6 people. You get to choose the spice level of the food and it came with a variety of sides - salads, fries, some other meat on the side and etc.

Service was pretty fast and our orders were taken in a timely manner.

Parking: On the other end of the plaza, near pho Vietnam had plenty of parking but the stores near the entrance of the plaza were practically packed.“

“The place was not crowded when I went in mid week, the staff were prompt to instruct to scan the QR code and do the ordering. They had lamb, beef, chicken, pork options available. Beef rib stood out as the tastiest, I loved that option a lot. The rice bowls was the option I chose to go with my meat.

They did have some element of sea food options which I did not try out that day. Per person all you can eat option came out to 42$.

They had a pitcher for 18$ as well. Overall a great experience. Would surely visit another time.“

Came here for a late lunch today. It’s a cozy little spot — enough to fit ~20 people. Service was good and friendly.

The menu seemed smaller compared to the other bbq chicken I’ve been to, but the food was pretty consistent. Chicken was moist & tender on the inside. This location also does not (yet?) have a liquor license so they only had non-alcoholic beers and mocktails.

Parking: It’s a small-ish parking lot, but shouldn’t be too hard to find parking here. Most of the other stores in this plaza are generally quick in/outs and not the type to open late on weeknights or weekends.“

My only thing is that the services is quite poor ..they never come around to ask if everything ok ,never take away dishes and basically they just gave the food and left .

“The chicken katsu here is sooo good. I've gotten the burger and the one on rice so many times. They are very good when you eat them fresh, but also good when you reheat them in an airfryer or oven. They give you a more more chicken than you'd expect, so it's great if you're looking for an appetizing and satisfying meal at good price.“

But if you prefer high-quality ingredients and taste BBQ it is better to choose other restaurants.

James was such a very friendly, polite, and professional employee. I felt like I was treated well—one of the best customer services I have experienced. I would highly recommend this restaurant.“
