“We went late last night to take a chance and see how the gluten free options would be as a celiac. We did call ahead and they said we can let our serve know at the time.

Our server brought out the allergen sheet for the sides and the supervisor was very welcoming and informative on what meats were ok to eat without any gluten and cross contamination - they were pretty well informed which is refreshing. Was our first bbq experience after the diagnosis and we were happily pleased!

“Been to Onnuri on multiple occasions and each visit has been great! Service is excellent on most occasions and at times when it’s busy it can be a bit slow.

Korean Fried Chicken is crispy, juicy and made to order! My usual order is their 5pc chicken with a pint of Asahi. Other items from their menu which are just as good is their Soon Tofu and Bibimbap!

Overall, this is one of my favourite Korean spots to dine at and they have all the standard Korean dishes available on their menu as well. The taste is authentic and has a good kick of spice! Location can accommodate larger parties but always good to call ahead!“

“I've been to this restaurant several times. It is basically furnished but you don't come here for the atmosphere. The main thing that stood out to me for this restaurant was the service and the friendliness and attentiveness of the server which never failed us!“

“My regular item at Korean restaurant is pork bone soup. If you are alsov a pork bone soup lover, u need to try out this place.
This is small restaurant with 10-15 tables. I found they were usually at 70%- fully occupied. I guess they are pretty popular.
Their pork bone soup was different from many places. I think their spices combination was perfect for me.
If you have a bigger party, their ribs were yummy.
My son has many opinions on restaurants, this one is on his 'approved' list.“

“Took 20 minutes from time we put in our order to when we got our food and we were the only table when we came in.

The chicken was delicious, crispy but juicy on the inside.

There are maybe a total of 7 tables in the restaurant so it is not good for big groups.

I found the restaurant to be stuffy and there were a lot of flies.. was not impressed.

Unsure if I would come again but I would be open to doing take out.“

“Food is amazing but price point is a bit debatable. I do feel like they’re starting to cut costs. Before we could get more than one sauce on the side, but last time I went they only allowed one sauce on the side per corn dog.

Last time my sister went the service was also pretty rude when my sister accidently said half cheese half mozzarella instead of half cheese half sausage. Same thing for when they asked beef or chicken sausage.“

“Food was amazing. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, sauce was flavourful, and the cheese dip added a creamy bonus. Dorian pizza was great as well, nice balance of sweet and savoury. The tuna bowl smelled amazing and taste just as great. The starry special, which should be a butterfly pea lemon tea, was fine, it helped combat the oiliness from the chicken. The waitress was super nice too, overall great experience.“

“My favourite Korean restaurant in Markham. The pork bone soup with ramen is my go to dish. The broth is flavourful and always comes with a good amount of tender pork bone. Food is always delicious and hits the spot, especially during the colder seasons. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it always has me coming back.“

The Gamjatang offers very generous portions, with a potato, napa cabbage, banchan and a filling bowl of rice, with 4-5 meaty and fatty pork bones. The meat is incredibly tender and moist, effortlessly slipping off the bone and absorbing the rich umami taste of the broth.

The broth stands out with its oiliness, and flavour extracted directly from the gochugaru and pork bone, giving it a boost in fragrance and flavour than most. While the pork can become quite filling, a splash of red vinegar brightens up each bite with a touch of acidity and sweetness, balancing the richness. The banchan also included a pan-fried scallion pancake, which was a surprising sight to see.“

James was such a very friendly, polite, and professional employee. I felt like I was treated well—one of the best customer services I have experienced. I would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Easily one of THE BEST Chicken Katsu burgers ever. In fairness it is a thin patty but it is moist and crispy and flavorful.

Saw a video on Facebook and I had to try it. It did not disappoint. Don’t sleep on the curry mayo. It gives it the perfect little kick of flavor.

Firstly they are all halal, their food tastes amazing and would suggest people to come over for their last minute iftar. It was a pleasure talking to the owner ! Cannot wait to come again!“

“I ordered the salmon teriyaki today, and the food was so delicious! The rice was so soft and flavourful. It was my first time having purple rice. The salmon was fresh and the teriyaki sauce was fantastic! The spring roll was great as well. Definitely a hidden gem! Highly recommend!“

We suppose to be eating at gyubee however we are unable to book a reservation on time. and we try the chako, the service 100% satisfyinfg. accomodate us from the time we sat on the table. replenish the meat and condiments and ask for time to time if we needed something.
