“I bought a Small Sushi Sashimi Maki Tray for dinner. In my opinion, with such a quality tray, it is worth the price cuz the food is always fresh and the taste is great, making me want to come back to eat. I am always served with a smile by the waitress. Best sushi restaurant in town ?“

“Last night we had take-out from Tasty Korea and it was SO GOOD! Sometimes you don't feel like cooking but you still want home cooking. Everything we had was delicious and pretty healthy too. Glass noodles, sushi and fried chicken (gangjung) - awesome. And a very lovely lady running the place. Highly recommend!“

“Diner Seoul is a perfect place for those who enjoy Korean cuisine, but would like to try another take at it. You can tell that the chef tries different ideas and creates their version of the familiar dishes, and I think that deserves many stars for a city like Toronto where there aren't too many innovators. I'm hoping that they have interesting dishes for different seasons, for I'd like to see what ideas that the chef has.
The restaurant itself is a cute, small and cozy space with about 24 seats available. I visited with about 16 people and had a great time ?
I highly recommend this place for dates, the atmosphere is perfect for couples who would like to dine with a comforting vibe, interesting yet not-so-strange dishes and kind services.
Looking forward to visiting you again!“

“It was my first visit to Toronto, and I visited it after searching on Google. I was fascinated by the atmosphere of the store, which I liked, as if I was in Korea.
In particular, as it was our first visit, our server Brad took good care of us from the time we first ordered until the end of the meal, so we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. Among the friendly servers, you are the best. They kept refilling side dishes for me without me noticing, and the meat was so delicious that I almost ate it to the point of inhalation.
It was nice to see that the staff seemed friendly to each other.
I will definitely visit again next time I come to Toronto.“

Food came out super fast and was delicious, service was amazing, and place was very refreshing and clean! 10/10 for sure! Would recommend the spicy salmon rolls those were phenomenal and the galbi, best I think i have ever had.“

“This is THE BEST Korean Corndog spot in all of Ontario and I’m convinced of it! The half and half potato dog is fried to perfection, made with the ooeyest gooeyest mozzarella cheese and juiciest sausage. About 30 bucks for a set of 5 which puts it at about $5 a corndog the size of a football.
The owners are incredibly sweet and came out to thank my sister and I for stopping by, with a free drink and a few thank-you toiletries. There’s also a spot at the back of the market where you can dine in; it’s incredibly well maintained with cleanliness and free water.
My all time favourite spot for years now!“

“It's really delicious. The soft tofu, kimchi stew, and even rice cakes prepared by the male owner are all delicious. It was that home-cooked meal, that japchae. If you've been on a long trip or been abroad for a long time and just want to eat home-cooked food, come here. It was so delicious that I couldn't take a picture of the food, but I only took a picture of the sign with the male owner's face on it on the way out.“

“JAJANGMYEON and DDUKBBOKKI are very good. TANGSUYUK is also good, crispy and delicious, but the sauce is a little too sour, I had most of it in Korea was sweeter. Hope the chef see this and improve it. Thank you. Will go to the restaurant next time.“

“This is the only reason to stop by the Newin Centre Mall as this Korean eatery serves great dishes in the food court of this somewhat sketchy mall. This is a cash only place, run by an elderly Korean couple that serves Korean classics like Soondubu, Gamjatang, and Jjajangmyun. We also had the Donkatsu and the Spicy stir fried pork. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are adequate. Make sure once you are done to return the dishes and tray back to them.Parking is available on the street or the plaza nearby.“

“When we get a craving for Korean snacks, Chungchun is our go-to spot. Their rice dogs are always on point—crispy on the outside, gooey cheese on the inside, and just the right balance of sweet and savoury. The best part? The food is always fresh and hot because they cook everything right when you order. It’s not just fast food; it’s quality street food that hits the spot every time.
The customer service is solid. There are a couple of Filipinos working there who are super warm and friendly. Even though the place was packed and the wait time was longer than usual, they kept things running smoothly and made us feel welcome. We ended up eating in the car since there was no room inside, but that didn’t take away from the experience at all.
It’s a bit of a drive from where we live, but honestly, it’s totally worth it when the craving hits. ?“

“Saved us for the night after a long haul of waiting in traffic. Great vibe too in terms of like a 90s night bar but on the cusp of modernism. The chicken was freshly made too, sizzling and spicy. Good serving of rice too(probably two cups?) compared to other Korean restaurants.“

“The takeaway Korean fried chicken has delicious skin, but the chicken is a bit dry and has no flavor... Garlic is my favorite among the three flavors. The radish cubes in the set meal are quite delicious. The spicy rice cake soup was normal, nothing special.“

“I’ve passed this place numerous times and I’ve been wanting to check it out! I ordered the Boneless Chicken Combo and it was SO good. It’s a good portion! Definitely shareable. You get three types of chicken, the original is standard in this order.. but you can pick the other two flavours. I opted for the seasoned spicy and Korean curry. The chicken was delicious! The cheese ball was also one of my favourites from this combo. It’s also a seat yourself type of place.. so first come first serve. It was pretty busy when I was there. But I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.“

“Always a treat when we dine out at Myungdong. Our go to choice for dinner is the beef Shabu hot pot, plenty of vegetables and meat, along with noodles and porridge made fresh after. The dumplings are a staple go to on the menu for appetizer...... Lots of lunch options as well with cold Buckwheat noodles. The seafood pajeon personally was not a favourite but to each their own...
Staff are friendly, fast service and food is always on point. Recommended for a great dining experience of Korean food. ?“
“I received stone rice cake (3 types) from a friend today. I found out why I asked what time the pickup would be when I placed my order. The rice cake was warm and delicious, as if it had been made and delivered on time. They beautifully engraved the words 'First Birthday' on the rice cake cake for free, and there were plenty of songpyeon and sorghum red bean rice cakes. I was moved. thank you The price was also better than other places. I highly recommend it?“

“I absolutely love this place. I try to get some at least once a week. I personally prefer the galbi and the sausage, but the chicken is great too. I’m a sucker for meat and macaroni salad, and they hit both of those for me. Also, having some Korean side dishes along with the meal really makes the experience great.“

“A really good find that we stumbled across. Really cute little wooden benches inside, and the server was extremely nice. Very reasonable prices for great seafood, and excellent japchae. They were willing to do additions and substitutions, and delivered my request to make my food extremely spicy. However, the fried chicken was a little bit stale and bland. The side dishes were all really delicious and the portions were generous.“

“Posted my original review five years ago and this place still gets 5 stars.
Cozy local restaurant with polite staff.
I really recommend the Dynamite chicken paired together with their radish side dish. There's something about the tarty radish that bring out the flavours and the crunch to the chicken.
I also enjoyed the beef bone soup really refreshing to have low sodium witg the option to add it myself.
All the best HanOak!
First review (2019):
First time here. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, like visiting family. They have specials for students and a well rounded menu. I had the Fried Chicken with hot and sour soy sauce. The chicken was crispy to perfection with sides and a cute star shaped rice.
Highly recommend and will definitely come back.“
“This restaurant inside of Galleria Supermarket Oakville currently operated is NOT Dahmi restaurant. They should remove the signage which is misguiding customers/diners and damaging Galleria's Dahmi restaurant reputation. The current restaurant is KIM'S TABLE operated by two ladies in partnership who used to work at Galleria Oakville as a line cook and worked at Owl's restaurant or something. Basically a consignment and/or tenant. I had a chance to try the Kim's Table food, glad it was not out of my pocket.“

“Came here pretty late with a friend, probably 10 pm or so. It was fairly empty so we got a booth quickly and ordered the following:
- Spicy Rice Cake (mild spicy, seafood with cheese). I ordered this and was happy with the toppings and rice cake itself was huge.
- Spicy Rice Cake (medium spicy, vegetarian added ramen noodles and cheese). My friend ordered this. First time trying Korean food as well. They said definitely heat there, that builds over time. Really liked it.
- Kimchi Pancake. My friend also ordered this but it’s a huge dish. Can easily feed 2-3 people! I thought it was really good, the batter was light but crispy.
Overall, randomly chose this place because it was one of the few restaurants open late night and it was so good! Staff were fast and you can call them to order by pressing a button by the desk. I was surprised by the big portions and love the vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area.

“I happened to pass by and decided to stop in after seeing good reviews. What a hidden gem!
I enjoyed the omakase, and I couldn't believe how fresh and non-fishy the sushi was. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was even more delicious.
If there were more stars, I would give them. Truly recommended!!“

“I had to organize an office lunch for 200+ people and a colleague recommended the team at Koha Pacific Kitchen Square One. Despite the already glowing recommendation, the Koha Square One team still exceeded my expectations with their speedy responses, responsible attitude and punctual delivery, all done with smiles. If you have to prepare food for a crowd with diverse dietary restrictions, I HIGHLY recommend Koha as they label everything so so clearly. The office absolutely loved the food that Koha Square One offered and I’m pretty sure that won’t be their last Koha meal. Thanks so much, team! You’ve done such a wonderful job :)
Vegetarian options: I ordered 2 vegetarian options, one with avocado and the other with panko tofu. Both were delicious!
Dietary restrictions: Koha made managing dietary restrictions so easy. They had many meal options that were still customizable exactly as needed. Choices at my event included vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and even tomato-free. Highly recommend Koha for diet-diverse crowds!!“

“We were craving some good jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and this place hit the spot. Would recommend the family jajangmyeon for two where you get the smoky black bean sauce that is pan fried with seafood :)
We also had the tang su yuk which is the crispy fried pork with Korean sweet and sour sauce. It was delicious. Would recommend getting the sauce on the side so you can dip the crispy fried pork into the sweet and sour sauce each time.“

“I love Korean food. So much that I have tried several different places and have driven from Mississauga to north york to get Korean fried chicken. This was my first time trying this place that is super close to home. Here’s my honest review
Chicken (snow cheese purrio & dak gang jung) juicy, crunchy and super tasty. The breading was also very light.
Rose tteokbokki: soft rice cakes and tasty! Not too spicy for those who don’t like spicy foods.
Snow cheese fries: fries are light, not oily and the cheese powder was tasty.
Corn cheese: sweet and salty. Perfect blend.
Overall I love everything and had an amazing experience. Service was friendly and helpful too!
I super surprised they’re not crazy busy“

“The Owl of Minerva is a popular chain of Korean restaurants known for its authentic Korean cuisine, particularly its signature pork bone soup (Gamjatang). The branch on Hurontario Street is one of several locations in the Greater Toronto Area. This particular location likely benefits from its proximity to a busy thoroughfare and a diverse community that appreciates Korean food.
Here are some specific points about the Owl of Minerva on Hurontario:
1. **Authenticity**: The restaurant is known for serving traditional Korean dishes, offering a taste of authentic Korean flavors. This can be a big draw for both Korean expatriates and those interested in exploring Korean cuisine.
2. **Popular Dishes**: Signature dishes include Gamjatang, Bibimbap, and various types of stews and noodles. The hearty portions and robust flavors are well-regarded.
3. **Casual Atmosphere**: The restaurant typically features a casual dining environment, making it suitable for both quick meals and relaxed dining experiences.
4. **Affordability**: Compared to some other dining options, the Owl of Minerva is often noted for its reasonable prices, providing good value for money.
5. **Accessibility**: Located on Hurontario, a major street, it is easily accessible by car and public transportation, which adds to its convenience.
Overall, the Owl of Minerva on Hurontario offers a reliable and enjoyable Korean dining experience, appealing to both locals and visitors looking for authentic Korean food.“

“First of all, kudos to the 2 ladies who served us and our kid! They were very very nice to us and did the best they could even with a full house, they even apologized for any delay in serving. Secondly, we went to do their AYCE which is straightforward and consists of a few items that you can order unlimited with no restrictions! I like how easy it is to navigate and they give you the full AYCE menu when you sit down. The only thing I would say is, as the grill table does take a lot of space, its a bit harder to move around because there’s mot much room and you’re sitting side by side with the other tables. Other than that everything was great :)
Parking: Easy access
Kid-friendliness: Very nice and accommodating to my kid“
