“A wonderful find in Unionville. The hospitality is top-notch, and the kitchen is impressively clean. Both the Jokbal and Korean fried chicken offer an authentic local taste that really impressed me. Highly recommending this hidden treasure to everyone!“

“Good Korean restaurant located at Langham square. They have a large menu and prices are reasonable. Food also tastes great. Servers are very friendly. Parking can be difficult to find at this plaza, as there are many restaurants and also a T&T.
They offer 5% cash discount.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars
I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Jeon Ju Hyang. The food was exceptional from start to finish — every dish was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and prepared with such care. You can truly taste the authenticity in every bite; the flavours feel true to the region and the quality is far above what you find at most places.
The portion sizes were generous, and every plate felt well worth the splurge. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was perfect, and each dish arrived hot and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of meal where you keep saying “wow” after every bite.
The overall experience was fantastic — delicious food, amazing taste, and great value for the quality you receive. I highly recommend Jeon Ju Hyang to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Korean cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning!“

“Had a late lunch here on Saturday. It was my first time and I loved it. We arrived around 2pm. Lots of free parking available. We received a friendly greeting and directed to an open table. Every table had a little tablet to order from. You can also request other items. Each table has drawers with cutlery and napkins. We ordered Kim's JJamppong and a new item (white JJamppong). The first is spice and had a deepr flavour from the pork. The second is brimming with smoky flavour. Both are great! And of course the noodles 🍜 are a huge highlight. We also ordered sweet and sour pork. Very unique and tasty. All dishes are great value. Loved the service and the kpop. Would love to come again.“

“Amazing fried chicken! My friends and I loved how crispy the chicken was and the flavors that followed. Make sure to pay attention to what you're ordering and to keep an eye out for the chili logo; the regular fried chicken was spicy, which was a awesome surprise cause I usually ask for spicy. I can't wait to go into the location to eat I bet it's even better right after frying. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.“

“I had falafel, kotlet, and tongue sandwiches — and gosh, they were the yummiest sandwiches of all time. The falafel was super delicious; I didn’t want to share it with anyone, and I’m happy I didn’t! They put everything in generously.“

“The food here was really good. If you've ever been to one of their other locations you know you're getting a big, tasty plate of fried chicken and it will be good. My one comaint with this location is that they don't seem to believe in heating their location! It was so cold inside.“

“This place is a real gem. It feels like it’s run by a husband-and-wife team, and you can tell there’s a lot of care put into everything. The overall experience is always satisfying, and the jokbal is genuinely really good—tender, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared.
The only minor downside is that parking can be a bit inconvenient, depending on the time you go. But honestly, it’s still worth it, and I find myself coming back often.
If you’re craving solid jokbal with a warm, local vibe, this spot is an easy recommendation.“

“I recently tried Bibimbap and it was a really enjoyable dish. The mix of fresh vegetables, rice, and savory sauce created a great balance of flavors and textures. I especially liked how each ingredient had its own taste, but everything came together perfectly when mixed.
The portion was satisfying without being too heavy, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick without overpowering the dish. Overall, it felt healthy, flavorful, and fun to eat.
If you enjoy dishes with lots of variety and bold flavors, Bibimbap is definitely worth trying!“

“We went late last night to take a chance and see how the gluten free options would be as a celiac. We did call ahead and they said we can let our serve know at the time.
Our server brought out the allergen sheet for the sides and the supervisor was very welcoming and informative on what meats were ok to eat without any gluten and cross contamination - they were pretty well informed which is refreshing. Was our first bbq experience after the diagnosis and we were happily pleased!
Can’t wait to be back!“

“Stumbled upon this hidden gem absolutely by random luck. Originally I was looking a that old school burger place near by, and saw this come up as nearby! And I am super happy to find this.
The place is in a warehouse area. Mainly catering take out or probably delivery. Almost wanna call it a hole-in-a-wall place. Rather hard to find. But its worth looking for it!
The fried chicken is Soooooooo juicy! The veggie topic is fresh. The sauce actually goes surprisingly well with the poutine!
So we order 2 sandwiches, a chicken poutine and a medium order of wings . And we totally have food coma half way through! The portion is very genoirous! We still have stuff left for dinner!
Also the staff is super nice and helpful!
Definitely gonna repeat“

“Been to Onnuri on multiple occasions and each visit has been great! Service is excellent on most occasions and at times when it’s busy it can be a bit slow.
Korean Fried Chicken is crispy, juicy and made to order! My usual order is their 5pc chicken with a pint of Asahi. Other items from their menu which are just as good is their Soon Tofu and Bibimbap!
Overall, this is one of my favourite Korean spots to dine at and they have all the standard Korean dishes available on their menu as well. The taste is authentic and has a good kick of spice! Location can accommodate larger parties but always good to call ahead!“

“It was a spontaneous late-night snack.
Last night was truly one to remember — the street was bustling around midnight with an exuberant rally on Yonge St. It also marked the end of an unforgettable February for me.
At first, I was just looking for something simple, but as I drove down the street, I changed my mind and craved Korean food. I couldn’t help laughing, realizing it had turned into the longest drive for a late-night meal because of the rally.
When I finally got there, I only had about 45 minutes. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The side dishes came out first — all delicious — and that’s when my hunger pangs really kicked in.
I ordered the bulgogi on a hot plate and gamjatang with noodles. Both were savoury and full of flavour. The servers were kind and attentive, and they didn’t rush me, even though I finished right at 1 AM.
I loved their brick counter and cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back for the pot ❤️“

“I always love to eat at woojoo bunsik, first time came to this location though. It’s pretty small branch, so if you have more than 4 people, it would be difficult to find a table. We got the new bulgogi chicken bokki as my friend can’t eat spicy, we love it! Such a great combination since we always eat tteokbokki with the original sauce or other spicy sauces. And of course, we got the spicy mayo salmon rice ball, super yummy. And last one, we ordered unagi tofu pocket. I loved all of the food!! Basically 10 out of 10, it’s just my problem it was so cold there but obv would come back here“

Got the koryo samgyetang and it was perfection, i liked the fact that the broth comes entirely unseasoned yet full of flavor, they give you salt and paper mixture to add as you wish. The hen comes stuffed with rice as well. First time trying this dish and ienjoyed it very much, would definitely order again <3“

“My regular item at Korean restaurant is pork bone soup. If you are alsov a pork bone soup lover, u need to try out this place.
This is small restaurant with 10-15 tables. I found they were usually at 70%- fully occupied. I guess they are pretty popular.
Their pork bone soup was different from many places. I think their spices combination was perfect for me.
If you have a bigger party, their ribs were yummy.
My son has many opinions on restaurants, this one is on his 'approved' list.“

“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“

“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier“

“We went there during lunch time on a Tuesday. It was a bit busy considering it was a weekday.
The staff was nice, friendly and attentive.
We were given a small noodle soup as an appetizer. It was very good and also on the house. The side dishes were great especially the mashed potato salad which was surprising. We ordered GamjaTang(Pork Bone Soup), Haemul Sundubu-jjigae(Seafood Soft Tofu Stew) and Chicken Katsu. The soups were flavourful and the cutlet has a large portion. They also serve the meal with free hot tea which was refreshing.
All in all great dining experience. It is now my new Korean spot in Scarborough.“

“Lovely restaurant that we stumbled upon a few weeks ago. We've been here twice so far and each time had a great experience. Special shoutout to the pork bone soup which my husband could not stop raving about. The waitress was so kind to our family, going above and beyond the definition of great customer service. Will definitely become a regular going forward.“

“Authentic, comforting, and packed with flavor!
If you’re looking for a soul-warming Korean meal, this is the spot. We ordered the Al-tang (Pollock Roe Stew) and the Gamja-tang (Pork Bone Soup), and both were outstanding.
• The Food: The Al-tang was incredibly generous with the roe—perfectly cooked and soaking up that rich, spicy broth. The Pork Bone Soup was equally impressive, with tender meat that fell right off the bone and a deep, savory base.
• The Banchan: A great variety of side dishes (the fish cakes and glass noodles were personal favorites) that tasted fresh and homemade.
Also ordered the fried chicken with rice cake. The sauce is just right!“

“The Korean BBQ at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! If you love grilled meat, you should definitely give it a try! The restaurant has many branches, and you can get free refills of the steamed egg, corn, and side dishes in the small bowls (as long as the barbecue you ordered is still being served). The food tastes incredible, and the service is great too—though the tip is a bit on the high side, haha. It would be even better if the prices were a little more wallet-friendly!“

“Absolutely loved our experience here!
The Korean raw marinated crab was incredibly fresh, with deep, well-balanced flavours and each bite was perfectly marinated and seasoned, not overpowering at all. You can really tell care and quality go into their food. The service was excellent: fast, efficient, and attentive, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t busy on a Saturday afternoon, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Everything came out quickly and was beautifully prepared. The only small thing I wished for was some nori to pair with the crab, which would have made it even better. Overall, this place is a gem, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to try authentic, high-quality Korean marinated crab. I’ll definitely be coming back!

“I tried the Korean seasoned chicken here and it was excellent — crisp on the outside, and packed with flavour on the inside. The space itself was also really nice — clean, bright, and comfortable, which made it a great place to sit down and enjoy the meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for good Korean fried chicken.“
