“A wonderful experience today, as my wife and I visited the cozy/tucked away Korean restaurant for the very first time! The food was great and reasonably portioned and priced - not overly fatty or spicy...just right in my opinion. The wait staff was friendly and did their best to make me and my wife feel comfortable and welcome ?. The only thing that was amiss was the fact this gem of a place was too hidden. Being only a year in business may be the reason but perhaps more visible signage would bring more of those looking for great food and a warm smile.“
“Gamjatang is the best in Toronto!!! I think the radish kimchi that appears in Bossam is truly the best in the world!!! I fell in love with radish kimchi!! It tastes like what my grandmother used to make in the old days!!! I'm so touched ㅜ ㅜ The tofu sundae is also unique and delicious~ I'm worried because there are so many menu items, but I'll try them all one by one from now on!! Haha. Thank you for selling delicious food~~“
“We come to this spot once a week! The food is always delicious, value is unbeatable, and service is fast and friendly! We have never been disappointed with a visit to Moms Kitchen. We highly recommend the gamjatang (tip: get it with udon!), bibimbap, fried chicken, and japchae!“
“Honestly think the restaurant deserves more customers. The food was decent and within budget. The service was kind, quick and welcoming.Love: many side dishes (love the seaweed), quick service, big portion for the valueFeedback: felt that the mackerel was slightly overcooked, but other than that - everything is wonderful“
“Highly recommend this place.Food is amazing, and service is even better.Donkatsh is not greasy and very crisp.Very satisfied and enjoy my lunch.HOMEMADE TTEOKALBI is a new menu, and they gave us a sample to try. Wow!!! So delicious ?I bought one to cook home ?“
“Literally my go to spot to have some Korean pocha food! There are rosé rice cakes are my absolute favorite! Perfect for sharing, and such a fun atmosphere to hang out with friends! You have to try their boneless Korean fried chicken as well! Crispyyy ! Follow @tiff.eatz on IG for more reviews ?“
“Amazing! Meat Lovers rejoice! The layout is spacious and with tons of seatings! Service is friendly, efficient and prompt. Our server checked on us frequently and offered us refill for side dishes. Love the lunch special. We opted for Spicy Pork and Squid. Definitely will be back for more!“
“As a korean, I can say this place is pretty authentic. I got 12 pieces chicken of spicy signature and soy garlic, and a kimchi rice cupbap. The food was more than enough for 3 people. Both sauces were really good and the chicken was crispy and big. The spicy signature sauce is not spicy at all, so don't hesitate to order even if you can't handle spicy food. And I wish there's more kimchi in the rice cupbap because it was a bit bland for me. But overall, great portion and delicious food. And the staff was kind. I will definitely go back to this place again. I want to try the spicier version "Hell O" next time. Highly recommend this place!!“
“"Absolutely phenomenal experience at 100 Chicken! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of deliciously seasoned chicken filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of my order was just right. As for the chicken itself, it was cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a fan of classic fried chicken or prefer something a bit more adventurous, their menu has something for everyone. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your visit to 100 Chicken!"“
“Gotta get the Rose rice cakes dish! (note: it does come with sausage and bacon and I'm not sure if you can ask for a substitution) I'd be happy to have plain fried chicken and just dip it into the sauce all day long! Also recommend the galbi flavour (tastes like honey garlic sauce) and it's soooo good!“
“Always love the food and service at this location. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. I like that it is more spacious than other locations so I never have to worry about waiting too long for a table. It is my go to spot for authentic and tasty Korean food. Some of my favourites are KamJaTang, JapChae, Bulgogi and LA Kalbi. Next time will try the Korean friend chicken!“
“The food was good for the price but the service was super slow. I was not happy with the service considering it wasn't even busy. But yes the gamjatang and takkoboki was really good. I'll just go back for the food. I wish they hire more people for faster service.“
“Food was fresh, tasty, prepared with care, and neatly packaged. Tried the original, pepper, and keto gimbap along with the rose tteokbokki. Lots of good filling, not just rice. Keto one with egg is a great idea and delicious. Great place for take-out or delivery. Very friendly and welcoming service.“
“Not your typical AYCE BBQFood 4/5: Pork bone soup was perfectly flavourful. Beef bulgogi was on the sweet side but very juicy and tender. Pork dishes (aside from spicy pork)were very under seasoned but still delicious. Side dishes were on point very authentic korean dishes. You get full really fast with their servings.Service 3/5: Language barriers! Was brought different items that was asked for. Also service was pretty slow. We were there for early dinner around 5pm. Only had three other tables, yet everything was slow.Atmosphere 3/5: not well ventilated for a bbq place. You will smell of korean dishes by the time you finish. Clean and friendly.Overall 3.5/5: Love the food everything was very tasty. Will recommend to friends and wouldn’t mind coming back.“
“This is the best! The premium menu was perfect; food was delicious and fresh, and the place is nice and spacious. The best of all was the staff though. They are super nice and helpful, and they are always around to help. Definitely will come back with my friends!!!“
“We are really enjoyed the food during lunch time. The staff is so good and friendly .We tasted "Red Marvel " and "Shocking Hot " flavours which are so tasty and delicious ????.Will definitely visit again and again. I will refer to this Korean food to my friends and family .“
“This adorable spot near my home is my go-to for Fusion Korean desserts. The variety of sweets and particularly the drinks offer flavors that are hard to come by elsewhere. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but I find the quality and uniqueness justify the cost. Silly me, only recently did I discover there's additional seating upstairs—a fact I wish had been made clearer from the get-go. Despite this oversight, my affection for this cafe hasn't waned. It remains a cherished destination for those special treats that remind me of flavors I'd struggle to find.“
“They had Miso soup in the all you can eat menu as well as a few other things that you don’t have to cook yourself. Also the meat is well seasoned and marinated to make for a delicious meal with a slight kick of flavour that makes you want to eat more.“
“I recently visited a new restaurant with some friends during their soft opening. They had special combo orders available, so we decided to order the Godeunguh Gui Jeong sik, Korean-style sausage soup, and Bo Ssam. We were particularly impressed by their kimchi. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't yet have an alcohol license. However, the service was quite attentive, with a call button available for assistance. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation, with background music at a comfortable level. I plan on returning to try their lunch special, particularly their bibimbap.“
“Authentic food and fast service! Fried chicken's marinade could have been better, but it was still solid. The portions were very generous so we had to take some home and the leftovers were just as delicious as when we ate it fresh. Enjoyed the welcoming vibes of the restaurant and staff. Would go again!“
“Went here for my grandpa's birthday, and it was quite the enjoyable experience. The service was done by Rei, and he was very generous and executed his job flawlessly. Easily some of the best sushi I've ever had. The barley tea that they serve is super concentrated in flavor, and I found myself drinking several cups worth. The tempura was very well battered, and my only disappointment was that my stomach isn't large enough to eat more. Would definitely come back here“
“Absolutely loved and devoured the wasa mayo crab toast as well as the 2 way chicken. The crab, chicken and the eggs had beautiful flavours. The slaw was beautiful and texturally great as the cabbage and carrots were cut very finely. I believe the crab mixture had finely sliced onions as well which complemented the crab really well. Portion was great. The hash browns were on point and not too oily. Will definitely have this again!“
“I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place. I have been coming here now since probably 2017. It is simply put, the best chicken katsu anywhere in the GTA.You can get it in a dish with rice and coleslaw or as a burger. I always get it on rice, white meat.It is always perfectly cooked, the breading is so crisp and the chicken is always nice cuts of breast meat. The put katsu sauce on the top and you can also get a free dish of Japanese curry sauce to dip it in as well. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food you get.I recommend this place 10/10. The owners are so nice and friendly too.“
“I recently had the pleasure of discovering Kordog, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to spot for the most delightful corn dogs in Toronto. I had the pleasure of eating the original Korean corn dog and the banana flavoured boba with tteok-bokki. The food tasted amazing and it was delivered rather quickly. I really loved the food here and the friendliness of the workers and the clean and friendly atmosphere. I definitely would be coming back here, and I happily rate this place a 5/5.Parking: Lots of parking space & easy to park.Kid-friendliness: Workers here are very friendly. The workers here have great customer service.“
“First time here and their food was great!! Me and my friend had the lunch special Spicy Pork Bibimbap, Gamja-Tang.I love their gamja-tang, it was still boiling when it served. The aroma was so good and it’s very very tasty ?Service was good, server were very attentive. Will come back again.“
“If you like braised pork I highly recommend ordering takeout from here. You also get wee little discount if paying w cash. Few parking spots available in front of the restaurant.- Food: 9/10 (I ordered spicy one and bbq one. Overall loved it but wish bbq jokbal had more smokey flavour)- Portion: $55 half & half was enough to feed 3 ppl imo. I also ordered rice ball in addition.- Price: a bit pricey but thats kinda expected as Jokbal is also expensive in Korea too (not sure why but it's just like that?♀️).Anyway given the portion and the quality it was worth it for me.-Condiments&lettuce: 10/10 i was impressed with their thoughtfulness in including many sauces to pair with jokbal. Also lettuce was fresh fresh ? no wilted old lettuce-Side beansprout soup: 10/10 spicy but addictive fr.“
“Pork Bone Soup is a must try with chunks of meat that easily falls off the bone and served on a portable cook top to keep the soup warm, which is perfect for winter. It is said to have lots of health benefits. Large size is good for sharing with 4 or 5 person. They have limited items on their menu but they sell the best tteokbokki I have ever tried. Price is reasonable.“
“Famous Korean Chef RestaurantEvery food are good!Good to experience it!Parking: Over 50 parking spaces sharing with the plazaWheelchair accessibility: Parking access is really nice! The entrance is right in front of the Handicap parking spaces.“
“One of the best korean restuarant in the town with very good staff members and good service.i highly recommend everyone to have a dine in once in this restuarant to experience the real taste of korean foods. The place is totally clean and all the stuffs are well managed. Highly recommended..“
“A wonderland of flavours. Be prepared to be surprised and then some. It gives a chance to show off your BBQ skills. The potion sizes are perfect and sides are bountiful. Can’t praise the staff enough. Kind, welcoming and joyful place to spend your time. Thank you so much folks!Vegetarian options: Have good vegan options“
“We come here often and especially for the tofu stew! Their tofu stew is the best tasting one we’ve had across town where it actually has good flavor! Their banchan is always delicious and a good variety as well. This is one of our go to spots with the fam!“
“I visited here for the first time with my family, and the appetizer salad was free of charge, and the serving staff was very friendly. The food was also delicious, but I ordered 4 servings of chicken, but the amount of food was a little less than I thought.“
“This bibimbap was so good! Packed with veggies: radish, mushroom, carrots, cucumber and some beef and egg, under a bed of purple rice. I don’t like purple rice but this place makes it so good.Such a hidden gem for sure. I’ve been coming back for a few days now!“
“Food is homemade. The cook and owner is a one-woman show. She is focused on preparing a delicious meal for you and does a good job. There are a few stools and counter space but it is essentially a take-out joint. The banchan is very good and changes often. The myeolchi bokkeum (crunchy stir fried anchovies with nuts was to-die-for. Suggest calling in your order to avoid waiting in the shop as it is quite small. Reasonable prices and large portions. Cash or debit only.“
“There's something magical about Yonge Street after dark, and Ehwa Uptown captures that essence perfectly. My friends and I, always on the lookout for our next late-night haunt, decided to give Ehwa a try around 1 AM. To our delight, the place was buzzing with energy, yet we were lucky enough to have reserved a table for our sizable group of 12.From the moment we stepped in, the service at Ehwa was nothing short of stellar. Despite the bustling crowd, our drinks and a tantalizing array of Korean dishes arrived at our table with surprising speed. It's not every day you find a spot that combines efficiency with such a warm atmosphere, making every guest feel special despite the late hour.Ehwa's ambiance is a perfect blend of cozy and lively, providing the ideal setting for late-night conversations and laughter among friends. But what truly sets Ehwa apart is its menu. The Korean cuisine here is authentic and flavorful, with each dish designed to complement the drinks menu perfectly. Whether you're in the mood for some hearty meals or just light snacks to pair with your drinks, Ehwa has you covered. For anyone wandering Yonge Street in search of a lively spot for late-night drinks and delicious Korean food, Ehwa Uptown is a must-visit. The combination of great food, drinks, and the welcoming vibe makes it a standout choice for night owls and foodies alike. My friends and I are already planning our next visit, eager to explore more of what Ehwa has to offer. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“
“3 of us came for a weekend in Toronto. Everything on the menu looks good and the choice was complicated! We finally had a rosée tteokbokki and a creamy carbonara udon. It was a delight! All 3 of us loved this order. When will we open in Montreal? :“
“Best Korean food I've had in Toronto, the others can't match up at all. Incredibly fresh and garlicky kimchi, really high quality banchan, and the jokbal is so clean and savoury. The texture is PERFECT! Whoever was on the aux tonight also had really good taste in Kpop music “
“I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.“
“My go-to gimbap place. Love their gimbap and boneless fried chicken. They have a variety of flavours. My favourites are spicy pork gimbap, original egg gimbap, gangjeong and honey soy garlic. They have gimbap and friend chicken platters as well, perfect for group gatherings. Unfortunately no dine in, but there’s a food court in the same mall. Highly recommend!“
“Saw this place online and the food looked delicious so I went with my family. When we got there, there was a line outside but my family did not want to wait. I did insist on trying so we did walk around before it was our turn. I ordered the mandu and bibim naengmyeon. The naengmyeon was so yummy and spicy. I was surprised with the amount of spice they used because I could handle a bit of heat and this was pretty spicy to me. Just looking at the picture of the naengmyeon is making me salivate haha. As for dumplings, we found them average, the only difference from the dumplings we have had was the size. Would def come back for the spicy cold noodles again! As for seating, they really packed as much tables as they could into the space they had to accompany the amount of people coming to eat.“
“First impression walking in, it was spotless and super clean. Service was friendly and food was good. We had the Gan jjajang, Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk. Everything was good but Gan jjajang was especially good with lot of smokey flavour. A new place on my list to visit once in awhile.“
“Overall it is a restaurant that provides authentic Dongbei cuisine.Fresh Cold It was tasty. The soup was sour and sweet. The noodles were chewy. I did not like the cucumber and apple were not fully cut. I was expecting strips but they were all connected.Chives, Egg, Pork, & Shrimp Like dumpling wrappers with a chewy texture and filling with juicy meat.“
“I had the delightful experience of dining at Nakwon Korean Restaurant in Richmond Hill for dinner today, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The centerpiece of my visit was their all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, a culinary delight that left me thoroughly impressed. The short ribs and beef brisket were the stars of the show, each bite bursting with authentic Korean flavors, perfectly marinated and cooked to tender perfection. The staff at Nakwon were exceptional. Their friendliness and warmth transformed a simple dinner into a memorable experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed yet vibrant dining experience. In summary, my dinner today at Nakwon Korean Restaurant was a 10/10 experience. The combination of delicious food, especially the short ribs and beef brisket, along with the superb service, makes this place a must-visit for anyone in Richmond Hill looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience. Nakwon has set a high bar for quality and hospitality, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.“
“Curry and fried pork chop are both very good $24inclusiveWhat a big contrast compared to the broccoli and white rice next to itA big plate of fried pork chop with two pieces as big as a man's handAfter eating the second piece, I started to feel a little bored?I'll try ramen next time*The tableware is super clean and ordered immediately“
“This place is one of my favorite chicken restaurants. It's crispy outside and tender inside. I'll definitely go again.I used to go there often when the restaurant was in Finch, but I was sad that it was gone. But I'm very glad to find it again. I think the chicken tastes the best here!“
“had dinner at Oyaji on Tuesday after work. I had a friend who had a birthday, so I ordered a cake after dinner, and the waitress sensibly sang a birthday song for my friend Kendol. I was so grateful and happy. I am impressed with the delicious food and friendly service here. I will come back again.“
“We arrived around 5:45 on a Saturday and we added ourselves to the waitlist. It was worth the wait! The food was all fantastic and the portions were good! Favourites were the giant dumplings, seafood pancake and the beef bulgogi. (Not seen in photo: the soup noodle that came with the beef combo)Easy to find parking.“
“Really good korean chicken spot!Their 2 flavour chicken meal was definitely enough for 2 people, we barely finished!Got the garlic soy and spicy flavours10/10 especially the garlic soyTheir drinks were also great, I really enjoyed the milkis cocktail ?“
“Always a great late night snack or last minute dinner option. This location is smaller than the Scarborough one but offers the same options. The Gamsung (little potatoes on the outside) is my go to option but tbh, everything here is good. You can get really creative with how you customize the toppings and sauces.“
“My go-to Korean fried chicken place in Markham. The owner makes it with the air fryer, so it's a little less of a guilty meal, but it's still delicious. The chicken is crispy and juicy. We usually stop by and grab the lunch specials after groceries at T&T.The owner is always friendly and the food fresh. The restaurant is a bit small and not the best ventilation, so we get our order to go.Our fave flavours are the Spicy Korean and Soy garlic.Note - if you pay in cash, there’s a discount!“
